Soon he is on the journey of a lifetime, his eyes open to awe-inspring new places and people, his days filled with fresh adventure. Meanwhile, his cousin Roran must fight a new battle–one that might put Eragon in even graver danger.

*Arya: Elvan princess, but only a fair few know outside the elvan city of Ellesmera in Du Weldenvarden. Accompanies Eragon throut most of his journey.

*Eragon: The main character of the seiries. Is named after the first Dragon Rider, who was elvan, Eragon. He is a Dragon Rider, adn his dragon's name is Saphira.

*Ra'zac: Evil, disgusting, bird-like ceatures. There are only 2 left.

*Galbatorix: Evil over the Empire.Is a Dragon Rider, and has had two dragons, one was killed, adn he wanted another one, so he stole one, and tamed it to be his own. Is very skilled at magic.

*Saphira: Eragon's dragon. Can be stubbourn and/or pushy at times. Can only communicate to Eragon, and other people of her choice by telepathy.

*Roran: Eragons cousin. Starts out working on his family farm. That's burned down by the Ra'zac, then works at a mill, the becomes a semi-sailor in the second book, so he can rescue his fiancee', Katrina.

Orik: A dwarf. Helps/assists Eragon at points. Is a dwarf fighter/knight, somewhat. Accompanies Eragon on a few of his trips.

Petra walked through the streets of Urabe'aen(sp?). Rybis was waiting outside the city walls, about 3 miles out, so as not to be seen. She was looking for someone in particular, and she was told by someone in Terim that he would be here. So far they had lied to her, they were probally scared at the fact she was a dragon rider.

Eragon walked towards to sparring feild in Ellesmera, to practice. He had been slack off lately. He had skipped 3 days of practice. 'Everyone's busy, Saphira. I'll wait, I guess, I though Arya said she would be here early. But, obviously something came up.'

Alvas sighed as he stood up on a branch in a tree, his black wings folded around his body. He glanced around, waiting for someone to show up.

Alex was walking along the forest path, looking like a normal human. He came to a stop and looked around, slightly lost.

Petra finally gav eup on looking for him. She headed to the gate, then exited. As she walked down the path, she heard to rustlings. One in a tree, and one on the ground. She looked up a little ways, and say a man in the path. She wlaked over to him. "Are you lost, Sir?", then she slightly glanced to her right, and caught a glimpse of clothing, "I mean, Sirs"

"A bit." Alex said, glancing up in the same tree. "Ah. There you are brother."

Alvas sighed and hopped out of the tree, landing on the ground gently, his wings still folded around himself.

"Where are you headed, and I might be able to help you.", she said. 'Rybis, can you come to me?' she asked him, sending him a mental picture of where she was.

Rybis came down, careful not to break or make a very loud sound. "Oh, this is my dragon Rybis.", she said introducing him.

Alex bowed. "It's nice to meet you." He said. "I am Alex and this is my brother, Alvas."

Alvas bowed as well.

"So where are you two headed?" she asked politly.

"We were just meeting each other here." Alex said, shooting a glance over at his brother.

Alvas sighed and his wings went into his back, along with his tail.

"We're headed for Teirm. The coastal city, so we can get a ship to go down to the capital city in Surda, I have some buisness wiht the king.", then a though struck her and she turned to Alvas, "You wouldn't happen to be Alvas ODIN would you? I've been looking for him, and couldn't, not yet at least."

"And what if I am?" Alvas asked, one hand close to the sword he kept on his side.

Alex looked between his brother and Petra, ready to stop them if a fight broke out.

"So your afraid?", she asked him, "I'm not harmful.....unless I want to be. I was asking because, I was sent by the king of Surda to come get you. I was going to return, failing a mission, which I havent done YET. And I don't plan to anythime soon." she said with her hand on the hilt of her sword as well. 'Be careful now Petra. He may be stronger than you.' Rybis's voicecame into her head.

"Now if oyu would like to join me, I would very much appreciate it." she stated. Then she smiled, but still, her hand was on her the hilt of her sword.

"Alvas..." Alex warned. "Don't..."

Alvas smiled a bit. "Don't what brother..." He said, his hand slowly moving away from his sword. "What does the king want with me?"

*Miles away, two persons where wlaking under the leafy coverage.... One was a stout, muscular being, wearing the appareil of a warrior, with reinforced scale mail armor, a mighty battle axe in the hands and a few other weapons strapped around. An dunder thoat armor and a brownish tunic... A green skin, and a muscular but decidedly feminine shape. The girly face, strangely cute and human-like, was graced with small fangs, dark brown eyes, a dark mane in a braid fo sort and pointed ears. An orc, a member of those infamous brutish and violent humanoids.*

*Near to her, the other figure was quite shorter and more thin, lite under the purpleish leather armor and tunic. Her lower face was hidden by a white veil/scarf, hidding the... dark, ink-like skin. Pointed ears, delicate, scarlet red almondy eyes, and a pure, snow-white ponytail... An elf woman, but what kin dof elf? For all (apparent) weapon, a bastard sword was strapped unto her back.*

*They followed some woody trail, travelling oward some goal... Maybe the closest city?*

"He didn't have the time to tell me. He was busy when he sent me, and something else came up before he could tell me why he needed you.", she said while gettting on Rybis, "So will you come?"

Alvas thought for a moment, then nodded. "I'll come." He said, glancing over at Alex for a split second before looking at Petra.

Alex watched his brother, knowing the meaning of the split second eye contact they had.

Rybis took off. "Come on, soldiers are headed this way." she said loking towards the city. "We want to avoid as much constact with the Empire as possible. 'Do either of you need a ride?' Rybis asked Alvas and Alex. "Your brother can come too, if he wants."

"A ride would be good." Alvas said.

"And I think I will come." Alex said.

After they got on, Petra grabbed the reins, and Rybis took off at a fast speed. He was at the top of the clouds, and headed northwest. While they were flying, there was a roar. Petra looked all around, but couldn't see anything. Then Rybis went up a little higher and to the left. Then she saw it. A sapphire blue dragon, wiht a young boy on its back.

She tryed to penetrate the barriers on the man's mind. She finally broke through. 'Eka ai fricai un Shur'tugal!' Petra told him.

*On the ground levels, the two wanderers stopped in the track and looked upward, noticing the saphire blue dragon too - he was albeit very affar, a blue vaguely recognisable spot.*

((The blue dragon is a girl, lol sorry I didn't say that >.< and my character's draogn is a boy. My character was talking to Eragon...sorry))

Alvas looked over at the sapphire dragon, his guard up.

Alex had his guard up as well, ready.

"ERAGON?!" Petra shouted when she got a better look at him.

Eragon looked closer. "PETRA?! I'm so sorry. I thought you were Morzan! I'm so sorry, are you guys all right?" he asked, flying Saphira up next to Petra and Rybis.

"I'm really sorry too Eragon, but we have to get to Teirm and get the ship I reserved so we can get to Surda. And yes, we would fly there, and I know it seems quicker, but after I left Ura'baen, they sent soldiers after me. So the ship is better off. And if we don't hurry, they'll beet us there. So sorry! Nice seeing you again!"

Alvas sighed, relaxing. He glanced over Eragon and thought he saw a flash of red.

Alex was looking the other way. He blinked, seeing a flash of blue.

Petra waved to Eragon as they flew off. "If you don't mine my asking, what were those wings that were on you?!" Petra yelled over the rush of the wind.

"They were nothing." Alvas said, glancing over at his brother.

"Nothing at all." Alex said, a bit worried.

She nodded, "Ok" Then she directed Rybis downward towards a open clearing. Then landed him. They were about five miles outside the city walls of Teirm. "We stay here for the night. We will walk to Teirm in the morning." she said tossing Alvas and Alex two blankets each. Then set up a fire.
