This is a story of how a girl's life was turned upside down by a normal day gone wrong. Kylie's P.O.V(the girl)

"I. Hate. Everything about you. Why do I love you? You. Hate. Everything about me. Why do you love me?"

I walked down the sidewalk while listening to my ipod. I had just got off of school and was walking home. My black and red backpack thumped against my back as I walked. The soft breeze blew back my long, mid-back length jet black hair with blood red streaks. I had bright blue eyes. I wore a black 'The Used' tanktop,grey cargo pants, and black VANS. As I walked a flash of light caught my eye. It was coming from the lake across from my house. I walked into my house and put my backpack on the couch and walked back outside. I walked over to the lake and looked out onto the lake. In the middle of the lake was a door-like portal. I stepped into the lake.When I did my foot didn't sink it stayed ontop the water like It was a hard surface. I put my other foot on the water and walked toward the portal. I put my hand out and touched the portal and my hand went through. I stepped into the portal and everything went black.
I woke up on a soft bed with white sheets and blankets and pillows. I sat up and looked around. Then the door opened and a man with brown hair and green eyes walked in. "Oh, you're awake." he said surprised. he walked over and sat a glass of water on the nightstand beside me. "Um... Where am I?" I asked confused. "You're in Saito." he answered simply. "Saito?" I asked tilting my head to the side. "Am I dead?" I asked panicing. "No your not dead." He said laughing. "Here, drink this." he instructed handing me the glass of water. I did as told and I suddenly felt dizzy. I shook my head really fast and I suddenly realized where I was. I stood up and walked with him out of the room and out of the building. I shielded my eyes from the sun as we walked. He led me into a building that looked like an airplane hanger. In the building were huge robots. "What are they?" I asked looking up at the robot that caught my eye. It was blood red with black streaks and green glass eyes. "These are Droids." he said walking up beside me. "I never introduced myself. My name is Aaron, The coordinator of the DRA" He introduced smiling. "I'm Kylie." I said shaking his hand. What's the DRA?" I replied looking at him. "DRA stands for Droids Racing Association." he answered proudly. I nodded. Then I saw something moving around on top of the blue Droid with black streaks and red glass-like eyes. I tilted my head to the side as I tried to figure out what it was.

Suddenly I saw a guy drop upsidedown hanging by his knees. He had slightly spiked jet black hair with cobalt blue streaks and deep red eyes. He wore a black sleeveless shirt and knee-length blue jean shorts. The left side of his lip was peirced. "I'm finished with the repairs on Blitz!" he yelled. "Okay, come over here for a minute please." Aaron called back waving his hand in the air. The guy dropped down on a platform that lowered him to the ground. He walked over to us and stood by Aaron. "This is Kylie, our newest pilot." Aaron introduced pulling me infront of him. "Hey, I'm Jason." The guy introduced holding out his hand. "Pleased to meet you Jason." I replied politely. I shook his hand and then turned to Aaron. "What do you mean by 'Our newest pilot'? I asked using air quotes. "I mean that you are chosen to be pilot of one of these Droids in the upcoming Droids Grand Prix." He explained smiling. "Okay, which of these Droids is mine?" I asked curiously. "Whichever one you want. But not Blitz, he's mine." Jason answered joining the conversation. "Who's Blitz?" I asked looking around. "That one. And Blitz is short for Blitzkrieg." He said pointing to the blue Droid with black streaks and red glass eyes.
"Okay. Then I choose this one." I announced running up to the Red Droid with black streaks and green glass eyes. "Good choice. That one has not been operated in quite some time." Aaron said walking over to me with Jason. "I'll have you know that you are in charge of repairs and taking care of it." Aaron said sternly. I just nodded. "So...When's this Droids Grand Prix?" I asked turning around to face them. "It's in 6 months. Which means 6 months of brutal simulation training." Aaron answeres with a smirk. "Okay, how hard could it be?" I asked admiring my new Droid. "I think I'll call you...Blaze!!!" I said shouting the last part. "I forgot to mention that you and Jason are going to be partners in the races. Kind of like a tag-team thing. So you two will be training together." Aaron said suddenly. I turned on my heel and faced him with shock in my eyes. "Wait a minute, I have to train...with a guy!!" I said unbeliveingly. "Is there a problem Kylie?" Aaron asked calmly. "Well, Um....No! not at all." I replied blushing slightly. "Uh huh." They said in unison. "Well It's time for lunch. Let's go." Aaron announced starting to walk out of the hanger. Me and Jason followed him. We soon entered a building that had several tables in it like my school's cafeteria. There were tons of people in there. We got our food and sat at a the third table on the right. I started to eat and soon felt like I was being watched. I looked up and saw a guy with dirty blonde hair and light blue eyes watching me. "Uh... What are you looking at." I asked as nice as I could. I never liked anyone staring at me. It made me feel uncomfortable. "You must be the new pilot?" he asked ignoring my question. "Yeah." I answered confused. "My name's Chris. What's your name?" he asked smiling. "I'm Kylie. Pleased to meet you." I replied continueing to eat. He just nodded. "This is my partner Lisa." he introduced pointing to the girl next to him. She had shoulder length light pink hair and light blue eyes. "Hey." she greeted waving. "Hey." I replied smiling. "So your pilots too?" I asked interested. They nodded. "I pilot Blade. He's gold with brown streaks and blue glass eyes." he said proudly. "I pilot Rose. She's pink with wite streaks and blue glass eyes." Lisa added grinning. "Nice. I pilot Blaze. He's red with black streaks and green glass eyes." I said smiling. Jason turned around and grinned. "Hey, I'm Jason, Kylie's partner and pilot of Blitzkrieg. He's Blue with black streaks and red glass eyes." He said proudly. He's obviously been listening to our conversation. "Hey." Lisa and Chris greeted in unison. We continued to talk and soon lunch was over. I was shown to my room and went to sleep.
