The Future Lies In Your Reach

In the beggining when the world was created there were The Five Gods of Shenapi, The Five Goddesses of Teima, and The Ultimate One. They Lived in Heavens away from the god of Death, the only one who could sap their powers. The humans they had created wandered about on the Earth while they watched with greedy hearts. The humans gave them sacrifices and they needed to save up the energy they provided until it was time.
Only one Goddess heard of their plans and turned away from them. Being Godly beings the rest knew her weakness and threw her to the Death God. The goddess was smarter then them though and threw her soul into the air and died as she watched it try to find a person to rebirth her.
The gods and goddesses continued with their plan as they thought they had gotten rid of her The goddess Yukiro.

Very intertesting. Hm, maybe you should put more comas and stuff. I kinda got confussed at some parts. ^^;; It's a good intro though. Update when you can.

Chapter One


Twelve Years Later.....


A young girl rode up to the gates of a castle. She wore a blue kimono with red edges over top her plated armor that she adjusted so it was nearly invisible. She wore thin leggings and pale dark brown travelers boots. At her side she carried a katana in a sheath with ancient text written on the sides.
Her deep blue eyes looked over the smoothed, weather-worn gates. Her horse skittered as commoners bustled around her. The girl patted the horses neck and got off. Guards by the door barred her way.
" Look, another young one tryin' to get into training to be a knight." The one sneered.
The other one looked at her and stared at the sword. " I don't know about you but I think this kid doesn't need help."
The other guard stopped laughing as the girl stared at him. Somehow that stare unnerved him.
" Okay we'll let her in."
The guards both moved aside and yelled for the gates to open.
The gates creaked open just enough to let her in. She waved goodbye to one guard and gave the other another rude stare. He shivered and they returned to their posts as the gates closed behind the girl and guards took her horse and guided her to an audience with the King and the Page trainer.

Chapter One Contin.

The king sat on his throne enjoying the silence when the page trainer entered followed by a young girl. The girl looked around nervously and stepped into the room, looking as if she were testing the floor for some kind of unsturdiness or magical sheild that would throw her backwards and cause extreme injury.
When she was sure it was safe, she caught up with the page trainer and stood beside him staring steadily at the King.
The Trainer coughed and started whispering nervously to the girl through gritted teeth.
" Curtsy to your King, be polite."
The girl curtsied while still staring unnervingly at the King. The King pretended to ignore it and clapped his hands once.
" State your name please, and tell me your problem."
The girl smiled sweetly. " My name is Namiko and I don't have a problem that is worth you hearing, I have a request."
The King and the Trainer shared a nervous glance before Namiko continued speaking.
" Yes, I would like you to grant me the chance of becoming a page."
The King outbursted laughing, along with the page trainer. After a few minutes they settled down and looked at Namiko who was still smiling.
" You expect me to let a GIRL, into training as one of my knights?" He waved his hands at her in a disbelieving gesture.
