Chosen Denial


STORY

There was once a group of people who worshipped the gods like none others. They, in return, were given abilities like no other humans, these 5 people then over-powered the world for a bad cause and came close to destroying it completly. These people, (Arrana, Benaga, Celena, Danna, Evvana) chose the wrong decision to use their powers and now itt's been posted in all the villages;

" The one to find a Fifth Essant will have
the ability to Take the power they r
egretfully had and use it yourself,
whether for good or for bad, The power

the Fifths and untill they are all destroyed
you will not be safe. "

Many travel in search for those, to find Pain, Love, or even a new way of life on the way to becoming the new Fifth Essances


PLOT

Your character, or characters can be from any Animé or Manga or Madeup choice. Theres no total maximum for how many characters you can have (but juggling 5 is quite a handle in my oppinion) You are to goon the journey to find the Fifth Essances and destroy them for the prise of hidden power, (no, they cant kill you in a snap) and balance to be restored. The time is not and old age but not a new age either somewhere in the middle is fine.

The ages boomed to a dead stop when the discovery of The 5th Essances was made public. Fear was drivin to some and to some, arrogance was shown of their faces. In the Dight City, (The Biggest city of the two elements: Dark and Light.) People scattered, and they often spoke of their passed King and how everything went well with him on throne. They spoke of the evil soon to come to their city if no-one took the throne.

Kaya looked around her room, listening to the talk outside, at times, hearing conversations. Her mother came into the room and sighed. "Kaya, you must put forth comfort to the village..." She said sitting on Kaya's bed.

Kaya walked to the window and leaned on the sill. "Mother I have to go. I have to leave and find those girls..."

"the 5th Essances...." her mother whispered

"yes, I must find them and...avenge his death, I know it''s them who killed him." She said getting ready to leave. Her mother walked out and a bulliten was posted accross the city's walls looking for accomplices on her journey, many came and most were turned down.

Zura was one of those many that came to join the new queen on her journey and after some time she decided he was best to come, many more came afterwards and they both stayed to see if they were worth it.

((Awww... were not starting up from the last one.... oh well. I'm still Lily, and my character will eventually fall for Zura...again...))

Lily was walking through the City of Dight. "It's in such bad conditions. It was probably them..." She looked down. "It has to be them... why else would I be here?" She looked around, there wasn't any inns, from what she could tell. She hoped that the palace might take her, but she wasn't near the palace yet. "Well Lily, you're not going to get anywhere by mobbing." Then Lily started to walk up to the palace again.

Kaya lay on her bed after the any coming to beg for a journey and she sighed heavily. Zura came to sit beside her. "Your majesty-"

"I told you not to call me that, you dont have to..." she said shutting him up

"fine, Kaya, we should laeve...there isnt a point in staying, your mother can take care of the palace..."

Kaya had a wierd feeling in the pit of her stomach "lets wait a while longer..."

Lily made her way up to the gates of the palace. She went up to one of the guards.
"Excuse me. I'm a traveler, and I'm looking for an inn." She told the guard.
"Sorry ma'am, all travelers have to stay in the palace." He replied.
"Okay, may I stay here?" Lily asked.
"It's not my authority to say who can stay, it's her Highnesses." He said."Please follow me."
So with a sigh, Lily followed the guard into the palace.

Kaiko walked down the street, attracting stares from the people because of her wings, and the bird on her shoulder. She stopped a person walking in the street, "Which diretion is the castle?" she asked. The person pointed behind her. Then walked on. Kaiko walked in that direction and went up the staircase that led to the doors.

Kunie was sitting on a cliff that overlooked the city. "It seems people are going to a palace, I think I am goin where I am not needed" She got up and to an elevater down then started to walk towards the palace. People looked at her because of her cloak and the smell of death and rotting corpses coming from her

Powers/Abilities: Wind. Heightened hearing and sight due to demon blood. Is a great theif too.
Weapons: A zanbatou that's two times taller than she is. Her zanbatou
Goal: Kill the Essence of Earth then find a blacksmithing job.
Bio: A massive earthquake killed her family when she was young. She was lucky to survive. She blamed the essence of Earth for causing this tragety so she travels around trying to find the Earth essence and kill it to avenge her family.

*Elsewhere, in the City of Dight.... An eerie form threadened the paved streets slowly and calmly, in a deep silence... Soem kind of dark monk, an humanoid tall, clad in an hooded dark, austere robe with show nothing of the being under it.... Except two eyes, the color of coal brought to red heat.... 'His' hands joined together in the sleaves like some monk, the being walked onward in silence, the bypassers giving 'him' a wide berth.*

The guard knocked on Kaya's door and she walked to open it.

"Queen Kaya, there is yet another travellor here to see you" he said bowing

Kaya looked at her and smiled for a close moment "is it something important?" she asked.

Zura looked around kaya and smiled as well "Is she here to accompany us?"

Lily walked in. "Accompany you? What are you talking about? I'm looking for somewhere to stay. That's it!" Lily looked at Zura and smiled back. Then turned to Kaya. "But, if you need help, I'd be happy to do so. Well, if it involves the 5 Essants... that it."

((Just posting to say that for the ones that don't know, Sailor Kagome is out for teh week and will come back in the weekend only, so let's not leave her too far behind pls))

Kei was taken by a guard to the Queen's room, and he knocked.

*The robed one stopped a moment, and looked in a random direction.. Or, mroe exactly, the Palace's. Then, after a moment of thinking it seems, he turned, and walked slowly toward there, under the curious, uneasy eyes of the bypassers*

Kaya opened the door and sighed "yes?" she asked smiling

The guard left her. "I was told by a person, I will not say their name, that you had some information on the Essants?" she asked/stated.

Lily looked at the new comer. SIghing she turned away, looking for somewhere to sit. Noticing that there was only the bed, Lily started to mumble something. She walked over to the bed and sat down.

Kaya looked takan aback, somewhat. "and if I did, that depends on who I present this information to." She said letting him in. "But, yes, I do know a couple of things...Why is it you travel here? To ask me what I know?" She wondered.

The guard came back into the room with chairs from the closet outside.

Lily smiled. She got up from the bed and went over to a chair, and sat down. SHe looked at the new comer. "I know I don't have any authority, but I'm just asking, why are you interested in the Essants?"

She looked at Lily, then back at the Queen. "The Fire Essant has done some.....damage to me, myself, and I. And so, I need all I can learn about her, so I can get rid of her." she said, on the verge of growling, but containing herslef. "She killed off my entire family. And I wont stand for her doing the same to anybody else, if I can help it."

Lily looked down. "I know how you feel. All five of them destroyed my family and town. I'm the only one left from the Mizu clan." Lily looked away from everyone else.

Kunie found a guard at an open door "they must be there" she said under her breath. she started to walk slowly towards the guard. the stench of decay and rotting flesh coming off her in waves

Ronash walked down the streets, her large zanbatou strapped to her back. She spotted a lavish building and images of gold and other expensive treasures started popping into her head. She shook the thoughts away and sighed.

((Sorry. Had to pop in before you left me behind. And the lavish building is the palace.))

*And then.. There was something... Ronash... She could swear that someone was watching her... She could feel eyes set on her... Spooky feeling.*

Ronash got a shiver up her spine and shook the feeling off thinking it was nothing. She sighed and pat the large blade that was strapped to her back.

*And yet, the feeling wouldn't go, albeit there was nothing in the sense of a menace... Someone was near her....

And true, the robed, hooded being was near, looking at teh Palace. And her.*

Ronash movved around a little trying to get the feeling to go away.

*The being got closer, albeit it's steps where directed toward the palace in fact. The being made no sounds ever as he walked... Never...*

Ronash came closer to the palace and golden and expensive object images started dacing in her head. She shook them out and sighed.

*The being followed her toward the palace, silencious as always...*

Ronash rubbed her head and sighed again. "Ok. Got to keep the urges down. Man that'll be tough." she said and then rubbed the blade of her weapon.
