I know there are two other "Pirate" RPGs, but from what I can tell they aren't very active. Plus my plot is much different from those ones.

Plot:
Pirates had codes that they lived by, ships that they cherished, weapons they used with cunning, and rum that they drank excess. Most pirates seek gold, buried gold to be exact. Captain Catherine de Lionheart is not one of those stereotypical pirates. Her eyes were caught on a more powerful and valuable object. It was a map, a map that would lead you to something unspeakable that not even Davy Jones himself knows about. It is said that the map is hidden in one of the most famous buried treasures. It is hidden in the treasure of William Kidd. It is said that he hid more than one hundred thousand pounds of buried treasure, along with the mysterious map. Till this day no one has ever found it.

Catherine is determined to find this map and unlock its secrecy. But she cannot do it alone. She needs a crew that will follow her orders, a crew that will help her sail a ship through the open sea. If this crew wants to survive and live on her ship, they would need to follow her strict but simple rules. These rules have been passed down by each pirate; these rules were the “Pirate Codes”.

The Pirate Codes:
Pirates were free from people, and they saw themselves as free sailors. There was only one thing and one person who could restrict them from doing certain things. The person was their captain and the other was a set of rules or codes. The codes were the rules of the ships and they sometimes decided what punishment to give to a pirate for misbehaving. Captain Catherine de Lionheart followed these rules religiously, and if someone on her crew broke them she will take it seriously.

1.Everyone shall obey orders.
2. Booty shall be shared
3. Anyone keeping a secret of attempting to desert will be marooned. He will be left with a flask of gunpowder, a bottle of water, and a gun with one bullet.
4. The punishment for hitting a man is 40 lashes on the bare back.
5. Anyone being lazy or failing to clean his weapons will lose his share of booty.
6. Everyone may vote on all-important decisions.
7. Everyone may have a share of captured drink and fresh food.
8. Anyone found stealing from another member of the crew will have his ears and nose spilt open and be set ashore
9. Gambling with cards and money is forbidden.
10. No one may leave the crew until each man has made 1,100 pounds.
11.The compensation of losing a limb is 800 silver dollars.

Those who have the courage to join the crew can only help themselves. It is every man for themselves, and if something happens to them…well it is their fault for not taking care of themselves and ending up in Davy Jones locker. Catherine is not the only pirate in the seven seas who knows about the mysteries of the map, more pirates also seek its glory.

Catherine is a rogue pirate, she was marooned on an island by her own crew. She was left there with a pistol with a single shot (in order to kill herself instead of letting starvation kill her). Some how she escaped, and went back into the world alone. Although she was alone, she some how managed to get herself a new and more decent ship. This ship (which she named "The Flying Skull") was one of the most fast ships around in the seven seas. Now she seeks a new pirate crew at a town well populated by pirates and hopes that they will help her seek the map she most desires.

One year later, her mother died. Now she wants to go find her father, so she's now looking for a crew to join, in hope that she;ll find him.

Zach scoured the seas looking for the vessels of the rich to loot. Zach who apart from sharing the plunder equally with his mates, often indulges in his vagary of distributing a portion to the poor, at the villages and settlements the ship docks at. Hence, a cheesy, popular title he became christened with, -Robin Hood of the Seas- is not entirely without merit.

Zach is one of Catherine's most faithful crew member...and may be the only one she has left. He know helps her find more crew members to help his captian get what she desires.

History/Biography:
Its said that Silvia was once responsible for the death of her first captain 'Black beard' Taking on the roll of captain Silvia damned her ship and sailed her crew to their death. Now seeking a new ship and crew Silvia sails the sea's alone only her dog by her side. Stopping at ports to collect the debt from those villagers who paid her crew to stay away... still unaware that they are all dead.
Silvia keeps up the act...pretending her crew are circling the island ready to pilage and plunder at her will.

A boy, who looked to be five foot eight, stood by the calm waters of the Caribbean. He was wearing a long, short-sleeved, off-white linen shirt with collar. On top of that he wore a doublet, which was relatively close fitting, with long sleeves, broad padded shoulders, and buttoned down the front with tabs at waist.

“Zach! Come here boy!” called out a female voice.

Zach hurried himself to his boss. He stopped in front of a giant pirate ship. The pirate ship gleamed with a brilliant shine. The rims were painted a rich gold and a milky white. Despite the appearance of the ship, it was a very powerful and the most feared pirate ship of the Caribbean. It was designed to be the sleekest and fastest ship, and can easily catch her prey. The stern most mast was known as the bon-adventure mast and was rigged with a lanteen sails that gave the ship great maneuverability especially in the cool comforting wind.

“Yes.” Zach answered back politely.

“Hurry up and load the ship.” Groaned the Captain Catherine de Lionheart.

Zach hurried to the luggage beside the ship. Cursing lightly, he tugged as many bags and weapons he could to the ship, overwhelming his own natural strength.

“I don’t like to be treated like a piece of dirt.” Groaned Joshua, has he finished loading the materials. “I am not a kid anymore.”

Rose was waking at the water's edge. she looked at the docks. There was a huge ship docked there. "Maybe I could go test my luck today." Rose said to herself. She had been looking for a crew to join for a long time now. So, she walked over to the docks.

Silvia sneered, rubbing her spit onto her sword as she watched ships dock for the night... Plently of teasures on board. Her lips forming a twisted smile.
"Savage ye' mutt"
She commanded loudly.
Her beloved black dog pounding towards her, covered in sea weed, His fur wet and matted.
A small shiny object in his mouth.
"Ah"
Silvia frowned, shoving his collar back on.
"Stupid mutt"
She murmured, continuing to examine every ship that docked at the port.

The most bizarre thing about him is his four arms.
-History/Biography: Cortez, a legendary pirate and self proclaimed king of pirates. He's kept this title as no one has been able to take it away from him. His intelligence and skill as a swordsman, as well as his ruthlessness upon the high seas makes him a plague to noblemen and sailors alike. Through pure force, tactics, and plenty of violence he claimed a series of islands as his own. Upon thos islands he built his fortress, and his ship. Any ships he takes down are taken to these islands for an unknown purpose. A master of the seas, and a brilliant inventor, Cortez is a dangerous and fearsome captain. Many rumors surround this man. His four arms bring about many stories that he is a monster of the sea, and has been such for thousands of years. His flag is a death omen, and crossing him is like signing ones own death warrant. He was, and always has been a cruel, heartless, evil individual, and those brave enough to be in his crew are rewarded greatly for their work.

Catherine wasn't much of a person who can deal with patience, she was more of a woman who wanted things done quickly. She waited impatiently for her first mate to finish loading the ship. As she waited, she took out a bottle of rum and drank half of it. When her eyes finally saw Zach comming back to the deck, she put the rum down and moved towards him. "You must be the slowest pirate yet," she said with a frown. "Well then, there must be a bunch of people here who are foolish enough to sail the seas. Let's go and find us some new crew members."

As Catherine watched Zach hurry off the ship ahead of her, she slowly glanced down at her compass. "Soon I'll find that map."

History/Biography: Victoria is a loner by nature, she ran away from home at the age of 8 because her father was abusive to her and her mother. She doen't much open up to people often, unless its someone she finds 'fun' Meaning as a plaything for her own desires. She loves the ocean but has never actually been on a boat. She lives in a seaside town and works in the local tavern. hearing storied as such from visitors afar.

Jasmine walked down the docks to where she thought that people we gathering to hopfully be recruited. She walked up to the group and sat on a barrel, a little on the outskirts of the group. Then she gazed out at the sea, really hoping she would be chosen to go on this ship.

"Where shall we go to find us a crew?" asked Zach as he followed his captain behind. Catherine looked towards the seaside town and grinned. "We're bound to find some in the town. Come on! Let's go to one of there local taverns and start from there." They both walked by a girl sitting on a barrel, which they don't really care if she heard them or not. Even if the girl ran off to tell the english naval that there were pirates among the town, Catherine was determined that she could easily get away from them. She was often referred as a "non-catchable fish. "

Jasmine looked up at the two. "Are you guys looking for a crew." she asked, in her sharp British accent.

Silvia's face formed a scowl. Her one eye squinting as she tried to make out the figures in the distance.
"aye"
She murmured,
"savage ye' mutt... Lets go"
Silivia clambered off the cargo. Hiding her sword she began to walk towards the figures. Her dog playfully runing ahead, stopping every now and then for his master.
She glared at the people ahead...
"One looks like a...captain..."
She sniffed.

As Rose got closer to the docks, she saw two people standing and one sitting. As she got closer, she heard the one say something about a crew. Rose stopped and acted like she was looking out at the sea.

Catherine stopped when she mentioned a new crew. Zach immediately stopped when he noticed that his captain stopped. Zach looked at the girl and cleared his throat. "Yes, we are looking for a crew." he said in part for his captain. "Who are you and why do you ask?"

Ronash walked around the docks admiring the ships with an eagle perched on her shoulder admiring the fish in the barrels more or less the ships and a raiper clinking at her side. She looked around scanning for a pirate captain looking ofr a recruit but so far from the people she saw, nothing was coming up. Ronash sighed and sat on a stack of crates and held her raiper in her hands.

Rose caught her breath. This is what I've been waiting for, I can join a crew. Rose glanced up at the three, then looked away again.

Silvia had been waiting for some one to say this. She was metres away from those people. Her dog barking loudly.
"Shut up mutt!"
She growled, hitting the dog with the handle of her sword.
he yelped.

"I am Jasmine Smith. Yes, Smith is my last name. And, I ask because poeple trying to treat me liek a pampered princess in really anooying me. So are you guys looking for pirates or not?" she said sharply.

Her parrot Jar-Jar suddenly came and landed on her shoulder. He sqwaked, then looked at Catherine and Zach. "This is Jar-Jar."

Zach looked nervously at his captain and then back to Jasmine. "Well, I guess you can come along--" he was then interrupted by the sound a bark. Catherine narrowed her eyes and looked towards where the sound was made. "Looks like there are more people who are looking for adventure." she said with a toothy grin. "Well then, Miss Jasmine, or should I say 'Miss Princess', if you want to join you must find us some new crew members. Once you find some then come and bring them to me at the local tavern at the town."

After her comment, Catherine sharply turned her back from the girl and headed towards town. Zach shortly followed her from behind.

Rose turned to watch the two leave. "How am I going to join. She doesn't seem to willing..." Rose said to herself.

Silvia walked into view. Her eye could say a thousand words..
"Tsk they cant hire a child to be a pirate!"
She sneered, walking into the light... and hopfully in their view. Savage growling.
"Hello there ship mates"
Silvia laughed clinging onto a bottle of dirty rum.

"Call me by my proper name, Jasmin, and drop the 'Miss Princess', ok?" she said. Then turned away.

Jasmine walked over to a person she saw that seemed interested in their conversation. "You seemed intersted in out conversation,why?" she asked her.(Rose)

Rose jumped. "Oh.. um.. I don't know what you're talkin' about. I was just standing here lookin' the sea." Rose gestured towards the see. "So, what was this conversation you'd be a talkin' about?"

Jade gazed at the ships on the shoreline. She could see the large ship near the dock, loading up. "Hmmm... would that be military, or fellow pirates?" She asked herself and pat her dog, Gaia Night, on the head. It limped at her side. She smiled at him and she knelt down beside him "Who knows, maybe Parsion is there." (Parsion is the name o the pirate who raised her. Forgot to mention that ><)
Gaia barked and licked her face. She licked his nose back.

Savage began to bark angrily ...
"hmph...what ye' doin Savage!?"
Silvia hissed, raising a hand to him. He shot off..heading towards a figure ad what seemed to be another dog.
"SAVAGE! GET ERE'!"

"Don't play stupid." she said, then smiled,"My names Jasmine."

"Who ever said I was playin' stupid? I surely didn't. I'm Rose Heartmen. But really, what is this conversation you're a talkin' about?" Rose asked turning to face Jasmine completely.

A completely black ship made it's way through a cloud covered sea, the mist swirling around it as it pushed through the waters. Aboard were the nasty muderous crew of Cortez the pirate king. Word of a grand treasure had reached them, as well as the word of a certain map...and others pursuing it. Cortez, not to be beaten to it by anyone, would not rest until these notable others were resting at the bottom of the ocean. His eyes narrowed as he looked out over the horizon, Cortez had his heading. Determined, with a powerful crew and a ship fully stocked, he was prepared for anything. His ship steadily picked up speed.

Zach and Catherine arrived at the local tavern. They both found a bare table to sit at and slowly checked out the place. "Well the people here seem like they don't know how to sail the seas." thought Catherine as she played with compass. Zach carefully watched his captain play with the object. "Why do you even like that compass? It doesn't even point north."

Catherine took a sharp glance at him. "These compass can take me to whatever I truly desire. I gave up my most precious belonging for it. And that precious thing is my soul." she whispered lowly to Zach.

Silvia was fuming Savage headed straight for the other dog.
"Get ere' ye' mutt!"

The ship of Cortez soon came across another unfortunate ship. It being in the way, Cortez wanted it gone. He orderd his men to take it out. Turning a crank in the center of the ship, a huge cannon extended out of the front of the ship. This giant gun of doom was just about half as long as the ship itself. Ont he comman of fire, there was a thunderous blast that would be heard for miles. The weapon blew the bothersome ship comepletely in half with one shot. A clear shot was all it took. Fortunately though, most of the time it was difficult to aim this weapon. This certain ship though had been unlucky enough to be directly in it's path. Not bothering with survivors, Cortez's ship passed right through.

Victoria was busy cleaning a glass in the tavern. She listend to people talk around her and went about serving the rum.

"What do you mean your soul?!" shouted Zach without thinking that the tavern was filled with people.

Catherine immediately glared at him and giving him a warning for shouting clasified infomation. "Well, I haven't given my soul....yet. I sorta made a deal with Davy Jones. But no worries, I'm too good towork under anyone." she said as she watched the people around her.
