Thank you Steve, for putting your trust in me and making me a moderator on the old forums. You truly have no idea how much that meant to me.
It really is a shame, Merlin's Revenge is one of the first games I ever remember playing. It just won't be the same without you around.
I hope you have a good life.

Oh Steve, I I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You were one of the more important people in my life because of the games you made.
I thank you for making me the avatar master on the old forums, it made me feel for once like I was important.
You made a lot of people happy with your games, just remember that Steve.

Thank you Steve, for all the joy and happiness you brought to all of our lives. Without you, 5 years of my life would have been uneventful and boring without any fun. Thank you for that.
feline monstrosity - August 19, 2007 09:24 PM (GMT)
Thanks Steve, without you I wouldn't have had this community that I so love and the unforgettable Merlin's Revenge games that I've whiled away so so many hours with.

Official word from Steve!
Hi Lokey,
After giving it some thought, I would be happy to try letting someone else take over the site for a month or two. If you want to elect or otherwise pick someone to take over let me know their email address and I'll send them the admin password. I would rather that it was just one person because TMB is only set up for 1 admin.
I read through the comments on the forum and I was sent some comments through the site. I've been very moved by the response that people have given me and I'm so glad that I chose to spend my time the way I did. Thanks chaps!
I have skype set up, so perhaps when someone is selected I can talk to them that way about how to use the site. Typing emails is not a good idea for me! I'm not getting online much at the moment so it may take a while for me to respond to stuff, but I'm glad that people want to continue the work. I would love to see it continue but don't worry if it doesn't happen it would be a tough thing to achieve.
Cheers,
Steve
So...who wants to be the admin?

I doubt I have the skills, my computer abilities are limited to starcraft, and glitching software.
Anything I can do to help, email nalhuttaTAO@hotmail.com

There is nothing from me but unending gratitude from me Steve. It's tough to see things turn out like this, being a fan for the past 4 or so years. Since the only reward you get from making games of this high quality is our enjoyment, it only makes it harder to express how great they really were.
Above all, thanks, and best of luck!
Tumbleweedman - August 23, 2007 12:37 AM (GMT)
I spent over 2 years non-stop on TMB when MR2 was first released.
... Thanks man. Those were some Hardcore memories.

Thank you SO MUCH for making the games you did and caring about everyone the way you did. My life would've been much more boring without you. :P I hope you enjoy yourself - and know that you've achieved a lot!
