I think its kind of a shame to let all those suggestions go to waste, and personally, I want to see the end result of MR4, or at least try to make it. I'm wondering if some people on the forums want to get to gether and do just that?

Depending on how many people are willing to actually help, and actually know enough to seriously be able to contribute, we might be using a different engine, or designing it entirely different.

It'd be nice to have another MR, but I just can't help but feel that it won't be the same. It also kind of feels like we're saying "Steve was great, but we don't really need him"

Well, if we want, I know a fairly good programmer that might be able to do this game, all we would have to supply would be the sprites, I wouldn't call it MR exactly due to this was steve's game, however I guess we could have the plot shift into a different direction while keeping the same cast and overall finish? This to me sounds the best because were not trying to exactly fill steve's shoes but we are trying to continue his work?

I would like to help, but, quite frankly, my skills at making/encoding games are sadly limited(I spent my computer-learning working on HTML stuff), and I'm not much for graphics, the best I can do would be take some sprites from some Javascripts and re-color them. I'm all for continuing it, and am willing to help in whatever ways I can.

I also know 2 prgorammers in a clan I am currently in who can finish this >.>. But, it wouldn't be flash anymore...

I'm just glad that Steve didn't ruin his hands forever, and still has a chance to recover, if not to continue with computer games/computer related stuff then just to be able to function still...

Yeah, at least he can still enjoy a normal life kinda. Well I'm not intrested in selling the game, I'd just have it put up for download ;). So relax guys, it'll be free still, but if we can port it to another language like VB, we can do more with MR than with just flash, maybe make alot of ideas possible.

Well, I managed to create a MR duel thing between merlin and a skeleton in GAME MAKER without even using DLLs... can't do much more than that, though.

It's not perfect, but it's playable.

Yeah, either way, I have actually been working on a game with sprites with the coders, getting to know their skills sounds good
