I got this idea from a picture I saw, it was what-if Zelda and Link had a daughter-she would look like. This story is set after Ocarina of Time and I will just post the prologue for the moment. The main story will start 15 years later, if you have any comments or ideas please post them here. Enjoy!
The Princess of HyrulePrologue:Link paced up and down the corridor of Hyrule Castle outside Zelda’s Bedroom. Zelda went in there well over ten hours as she went into labour. As Link wandered up and down he dwelled on the past seven years of his life. Seven long years ago he defeated Ganon and locked him up in the Temple of Time to be sealed away forever. Four years after that he married Zelda and became King of Hyrule and her Queen of Hyrule. Now, three years later Zelda was giving birth to their child! A few minutes later Link gave up pacing, drew his sword and swung it around as he walked the corridor. Suddenly the door to Zelda’s bedroom opened. Walking out of the door was Zeldas mid-wife. Link ran straight to her,
“How is she?” asked Link nervously.
“Her Royal Highness is doing fine,” replied the mid-wife.“Good,” said Link, now substantially calmer, “and,”
“It’s a girl,” replied the mid-wife.
“Can I go in?” asked Link.
“Yes,” she replied stepping out of the way.
Link walked slowly into the room and there was Zelda, his beloved wife sitting on the bed cradling her, no, their daughter in her arms. Link walked over to the bead and kissed Zelda and the forehead. As he did a soft tune came through the window from a song played out in the market place.
“My beautiful daughter,” said Link picking up his daughter and holding her.
“What shall we call her?” asked Zelda.
“Melody,” replied Link listening to the soft tune that reminded him so much of his adventures, “her name shall be Melody.”
EDIT: Here is a link to the picture. I'm not going to make Melody look exactly like that but it will be based on her. Her name in the picture was Zelink but I personally like Melody better, it was draw by: SakuraSaffron and the fairy is called Tavi. P.S Chapter 1 will be up by the end of today!

Chapter 1: Escape
“Yah!” yelled Melody as she jumped at the Gossip Stone with her sword and slammed her sword through it. Pulling he sword free she walked back across the gate entrance to Hyrule Castle, pushed her long blonde hair out of her to get ready for another attack,
“Melody!” she heard her mother call.
Uh oh, thought Melody as she slid her sword back into her scabbard and jumped down the ladder into the guard tower. She slid up against the wall and hid there as she heard her mother call. Soon, she heard footsteps above her. She slowly looked up and there was her mother, Queen Zelda, standing above her looking down.
“Young lady,” she asked, “what have you been up to?”
“Nothing,” replied Melody innocently while shuffling her feet.
“You’ve been using a sword again haven’t you?” demanded Zelda.
“I’m sorry mum,” replied Melody.
“I’ve told you not to use a sword or any weapon; it is not something a lady should do.”
“But I love it mum,” replied Melody.
“Get out of there,” replied Zelda.
Melody slowly climbed back up the ladder and onto the bridge.
“Now,” said Zelda, “go back to the castle and back to your studies, you will be queen one day and you’ll need to be ready,” lectured Zelda.
“Yes, mum,” said Melody slowly shuffling with her head down back towards the castle with Zelda following behind her shaking her head.
Once Melody and Zelda were back inside the castle Melody continued on to her room, but Zelda turned left and walked into the library. The library was a huge place; it had almost every book that had ever been written in it. The shelves reached all the way up to the roof and there were hundreds of thousands of them. Sitting on a chair reading a book entitled Dangers and Monsters of Hyrule was her husband, Link.
As he heard approaching he looked up from his book,
“Let me guess,” he started, “Melody was playing with her sword again.”
“She should not be, but yes she is,” replied Zelda, “she’s 17 now, its time to forget about all of this magic and fighting monsters and she needs to study and learn how to be a good queen.”
“Yes,” agreed Link, “but she does need some freedom.”
“I agree,” replied Zelda, “but that does not need to involve fighting.” Zelda pulled up a chair and sat next to him, “It is time she got over all of this and concentrated more on being a Princess and becoming a Queen.”
“I’ll go talk to her,” replied Link getting the hint. He put his book down on the chair and walked out of the room leaving Zelda to only sigh.
Melody reached her room and sat down on her bed. She knew where her mum was now; talking to her dad and in a few minutes he’ll be in to talk to her. Why couldn’t they just let her use a sword and go on adventures just like her dad, even hero and go on all sorts of exciting adventures, just like dad. She stood up, walked over to the mirror and gave herself a good look. Everyone told her she was attractive but she just couldn’t see it. She had to admit she definitely wasn’t ugly, but attractive? No. Worst of all her parents wanted her to marry Prince Theodore in a year or two. She hated him; he was stuck up, a jerk and was a complete suck up to her parents. She supposed he liked her, but there was no way she was going to marry him. There was only one solution to her problem that she could see; run away. If she ran away she could see the world, go out on adventures and get away from all her problems. She had hardly even seen the world; she was always at home and studying. The furthest she had ever gone was up to Kokiri Forest where her dad grew up. So, she decided, tonight I’ll leave and go out on my own adventure. A few seconds later Link walked into the room.
“Hi dad,” she said.
“Hello Melody,” he replied, “we need to talk.” Melody did not answer so he sat down on her bed next to her, “you really can’t keep going off and wishing for adventures. It is not in the path of your life, it is for some and others it isn’t. It was for me, and in some ways I wish it wasn’t. You will have an exciting life though, as Queen of all of Hyrule! That sounds pretty good to me, and you’ll that nice boy Theodore as your husband. That doesn’t really sound all that bad to me. Does it?”
“No dad, I suppose not,” replied Melody agreeing. She knew how this went, if she agreed he would leave sooner. She didn’t hate her parents, she loved them, but sometimes they could just get in the way.
“Okay then,” said Link patting her on the knee, “I’ll see you later.”
“Bye dad,” said Melody and he walked out the door closing it softly behind him. As soon as the door closed Melody started putting together things she thought she would need on her adventure.
Later that night, when everyone in the palace was asleep Melody climbed out of bed, changed into some green and brown traveling garments and grabbed the things she put together earlier. She put her slingshot that she made herself in one pocket and 500 Rupees in the other. She grabbed her homemade wooden sword and to make sure no-one recognized her she cut her long blonde hair so that it hung to just above he shoulders, grabbed the bottle of dye and used it to turn her hair orangey-red. Then she slid her sword into its rough scabbard before slinging it over her back. She also picked up her bow and arrows, all of which were beautifully made with jewels in the bow and royal markings on the arrows. She was required to archery as a sport-even though her mum didn’t like it-; her dad said it would be useful one day. Finally she pulled the covers off her bead and tied them together in a long rope. Then tied one end to the bedpost and the other she threw out the window. She was only on the second floor so it was long enough. She gave it a quick tug to make sure it was secure and then she climbed out the window and slid down the sheets onto the ground at the side of the castle. She ran round to the front corner of the castle and peeked around it. As usual there were two guards guarding the drawbridge. She picked up a large stone and threw it as far as she could over their heads. It connected with a tree and made a crunching sound.
“What was that?” she heard one of the guards ask.
“Don’t know, we better go see,” said the other.
They both walked away from the gate and over to where the rock landed. Seeing an opportunity she ran through the gate, down through the gardens of the castle and on her way to freedom.
that is that would make a nice attachment to the ocarina of time like: ocarina of time 2!

Chapter 2: The Fairy
Tavi flew slowly and quitely around the room of the training house in Kokiri Forest. This was her first test and she had to complete it to show everyone that she could be a good fair. No, not good, the best ever! Suddenly, out from the floor popped up a Mad Scrub. Tavi flew around it and straight on past it. She heard the scrub turn around behind her and fire a bullet. She tried to move but it was too late, she was hit by the bullet, went crashing to the floor and then, everything went black.
When she woke up she was surrounded by her fellow fairies.
"Are you okay?" asked one.
"I'm okay," replied Tavi flying up.
"You couldn't even beat the first test!" yelled one laughing.
"You're the worst fairy ever!" cried another.
The others thenh all laughed at her as well and she flew away as fast as she could. A little while later she emerged from the bush she was hiding behind.
I'll show them, she though, I'll go on my own adventure, that'll show them! Deciding this was the only way she could prove to the others that she was a great fairy was go and find her own adventure and return with wondeful stories of her adventures.
She flew up out of the bush and towards the tunnel that would take her out of Kokiri Forest and out on her adventure.
Many, many hours later it was beginning to get dark and Tavi had no idea where she was. She could see she was in a market of some sort, but she had never left the forest before. She decided it was time to rest. She flew on a little further until she came to a gate with two guards in front of it. Backing up a bit she spotted a bush next to a tree. She flew towards the bush, sat down in and and went to sleep.
Some short time later she was awoken by the sounds of footsteps. She flew up and peared over the top of the bush. There was a girl with short red hair running towards he looking around anxiously. Tavi could see she was carrying a sword and Royal Arrows and Bow. She must be going on an adventure as well, thought Tavi, Nobody else would carry a sword.
As the girl ran past the bush Tavi flew up out of it and slowly followed her in the shadows hoping that this human would show her adventure.
the story sunds just like the real thing.(goes to get koolaid).
