Here you can ask for a living location for your character to be added to the board. There are applications for the Male and Female Dormitories for both the Brotherhood and X-men and there are apartments and houses in New York for Humans, Rogues and Bounty Hunters.

- Sublevels
Below the school are tunnels which stretch out under the vast grounds, which can be accessed by a four lifts from the first floor. This area is strictly off-access to students who are unaccompanied by X-men (though you could try and sneak down...).

The large outside courtyard is covered by large pale orange tiles which have been laid on the floor, with two small patches of grass inbetween the three which lead to Graymalkin Lane, the Garages and the Stablehouse.

- Classrooms
In here are the many classrooms of the Institute, which include all of the usual classes teenagers would take along with the classes that mutants would take to train their powers, though because of the laws on mutants and Bounty Hunters, all mutation-related classes are held inside (including flying, in a vast hall).

Here the students and X-men can rest for an hour and a half each school day, and as long as they like at the weekends, indulging in a range of food, ordered from a large firm who believe they're just filling the order of an oridinary private school.

- Observation Tower
The observation tower is the highest point of the entire mansion, being accesible by a spiral staircase and a lift, which is currently out of order, though it looks as though no one's going to repair it anytime soon. The Tower has a high roof and there are practically no walls above three foot up. After that it's windows all over until the roof.

The Allerdyce grounds are full of life and colour, which is quite unexpected for the purpose of the building. Large shrubs cover the Manor from all points of view (except aerial, of course), blocking any sight from the streets.

The first floor of the manor is mainly where people can be found during the day, if they haven't gone into the city. On this floor is mainly the things found in a usual house, but only each room s much bigger.

The dormitories are situated on the second floor of the mansion, housing both genders, with some even in the same room. The rules are pretty lax compared to the X-men's, so they don't mind opposite-sex's sharing rooms.

The third floor of the manor is mainly for those who want to get a look at what's going on in the city if they're thinking about going out. Being the highest point of the building, it's the only floor where you can get a look over the vast trees which surround the manor.

- The Ballroom
The large Town Hall in the centre of New York has been re-decorated and is holding a Masquerade Ball. Brightly coloured banners and various other decorative pieces are dotted around the room.

The square-shaped area outside the Town Hall has trees all around it, which have all been decorated with lights which shine during the night-time. There are speakers piping the music through from the hall, on the trees near the hall. But on the trees further away there are none.
