For those of you interested, but have been prohibited because of the cost, this is an affordable personal use item. I am actually thinking of getting one for myself. (when you consider all the crap I deal with on a daily basis, if stress were a trigger for me, I would have been dead years ago!)

Is "enable emoticons" checked?

Try replying to a message as you are scrolling down past the text section (kinda to the center right) you should see this!

Enable emoticons?
Enable signature?
Enable email notification of replies?

Make sure the box for enable emoticons is checked. You can also enable it through your profile, (MY CONTROLS - next to the inbox at the top, below help and search). Without going into my own profile, I can't off the top of my head instruct it to you.
