Does anyone know of an Epilepsy support group in the mid to central part of Phoenix Arizona? I have tried looking on the internet and can only find one way north of where I live. I think it would really help if I could meet in person with some others who share this affliction.

Not sure of Arizona as I am in Illinois but you might want to check to see if you have in the yellow pages under "social services" anything like a self-help center or you can contact Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona to find out what they have listed.

Hope you are able to find a support group as I used to belong to one for E when I was younger, it was known as EEG (Epilepsy Education Group) and really was very informative not to mention allowing me to get to know others afflicted with E.

Sorry to hear they weren't able to help you, Tincatt. If you haven't already checked with your local hospital and doctor, give them a call. Sometimes there are support groups that aren't advertised available in the community.

you may want to call the epilepsy foundation in your area, they may have information about support groups that are not listed. Another idea is to start your own, the foundation should be able to help you with that.
