hello,
i haven't been here for a LOOOONG time..kyle is doing 'ok' he just had all 4 of his wisdom teeth removed last friday and since then he has had a increase in seizures.:( wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with them nasty wisdom teeth along with having epliepsy??:( :Thanx:

I don't have any experience with seizures but, I know the pulling of all four wisdom teeth is the pits! My middle child had to have that done. I don't have any wisdom teeth and they have never been pulled.

Hope Kyle starts doing better. Check with his Dr. and see what the connection is.

HEY How you doing? Boy it has been a while since you were last here! Good to see you back.

As for the seizure increase, it's most likely from the pain and stress. Removing all 4 has got to be VERY uncomfortable. Also watch for infection, another possible cause.

Now don't be such a stranger, pop in more often even just to say "Hi!"

:D HI Momofky!

Hope you are doing good! Nice to hear from you!

I've had my wisdom teeth out and all I can say is OUCH! I had 2 removed at one time and the pain was awful, then drysocket (infection) compacted that. So, my guess would be that may be bringing on the seizures, but please visit with his doc about that because there may be another underlying issue.

Take great care, and please give Ky a big hug from me!

Hi MomofKy,

Wow, it has been a long time since we have seen you on here! It is good to see you back.

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth surgically removed over 30 years ago and back then the oral surgeon kept me in the hospital over night to make sure there was not seizure activity before sending me home. I would definitely say it is the pain and stress but please call the neurologist to see if they want to see Kyle due to the change in seizure activity.

Take care of yourself and give Kyle a hug!

Cindy
