Some of you parents know how hard it is to find decent health care in your state. I want to let you know that as a parent with a Special needs child. Who had the VNS for 2 years and was just recently explanted. Who had to go to California for the implantation and Denver for the removal. The cost of all those flights add up.

Don't forget to mention that after you've gotten there, The Ronald McDonald House will give a parent(s) overnight accomodations. They ask for a donation of between $5 and $20 per day. If the parents can not afford it, their stay is free.

The one in Rochester, NY gives you a bedroom and you share a community room and kitchen. This lets you cook your own meals and saves on restaurant expenses.
