Name: Zeven Forest Emerson.
Nicknames: Zev, Zeven Eleven, Zevenator.
Age: 32.
Birthday: 23 February, 1974.
Gender: Male.
Avatar: Ryan Reynolds. [subject to change.]
Description: His dark brown hair is curly when wet, and is susceptible to sun-bleaching, giving it a dirty-blond, highlighted look. His hair grows and shrinks on a daily-weekly-monthly basis, as he can never truly decide what length he wants it to be. It varies from being as long as falling to the nape of his neck, or as short as nearly shaved. In its longer stages, it's usually "styled" with a tiny dollop of gel or mousse. (It's usually a mess.) He has thick, brown eyebrows and his dark-chocolate brown eyes are almond shaped, slightly slanted. His nose is thin and somwehat long, and his jaw is slightly square with a pointed chin. He very often sports a thick beard and moustache.
His neck is thick and strong, as well as the rest of his body. He has broad, suqare shoulders and thick arms. Due to excessive gym visits and a very well-balanced diet, his body is extremely well-defined and muscular. His skin is smooth, and is a gentle tan-bronze colour, and darkens easily in the sunlight.
The six-foot-three, one-hundred and ninety-five pound Zev wears basically whatever he feels like. He's gotten in trouble a few times for not sticking to the Waverly uniform dress-code, but he mostly stays on top of it. His taste in clothing varies from a teeshirt and jeans or a hoodie and cargo shorts, to dress pants and button-downs or turtle-neck sweaters.
Personality: Zeven is practically the perfect Pisces. He is very adaptable, and his ideas, mind, wishes, and goals change with the wind. He is completely unable to commit to a relationship unless he feels his significant other is "The One." He tends to adapt emotionally to the influence of his environment and is often painfully shy. He sometimes immitates the mannerisma of those around him as to hide his own personality. He finds extreme discomfort with being able to identify with other's problems and choices, so he avoids becoming too close.
He is stubborn and hard-headed when it comes to making friends. The few he has are mostly considered acquaintences, save maybe two who are only a little bit closer to him. It has been suggested by several family members that he make a few more friends at least, but he simply refuses, nodding it off as a waste of time. He tends to shy away from relationships on the whole, unless they are strictly business-related, school-related, or swim team-related. His opinion on his coworkers, other coaches, and students doesn't really change much. He sees those relationships as "get the job done and go home."
Zev is often described as emotionless, but when he does express emotion, he expresses them as extremes. He is never "somewhat" sad or "kindof" mad. He is either agonizingly remourseful or insanely furious. As for being happy goes, he's never really "happy." His life is stagnant, as he sees it, and he finds no happiness in still waters.
Getting Zeven angry or sad does NOT come easily. Sadness is something he has felt maybe three or four times in his entire life, and mostly just in his childhood, so one can guess that practically nothing makes him sad. Other than remourse over family deaths and serious breakups, his heart is encased in glass. When he is sad, however, he tends to isolate himself to the solitude of his room, and he'll call in sick to work until he's over his tragedy.
Angering him is only slightly different. He is easily irritated, but never angry. Things that irritate him are long winded talkers, illiteracy, quitters, and conservatives. He was raised very liberally, so one can only imagine the kind of verbal brawls he can get into with those who lean to the right. With so little experience with being angry, he tends to blow up. He punches walls and raises his voice, slams doors and throws things, and mostly acts the way a child would.
Though he doesn't mind change, or more so finds it to be unnoticeable, he enjoys a few things that never change. Like sports and... well, mostly just sports. He loves any kind of sport, especially swimming and snowboarding. They are two things that he is utterly passionate about, other than keeping a great diet and maintaining a five-star workout strategy.

History: Zev was born into a family of Virginian hippies -- no but really. His mother, Hope Starkiss Ellis, and his father, Ocean Singer Emerson, were two tree-hugging, nature-loving, whale-saving hippies, to say the least. The two had several children (eight, to be exact) out-of-wedlock, starting at a VERY young age, and are still not married today -- though still together. Before all of the children were able to walk, Hope and Ocean had them all living in a one-bedroom apartment, so one can only imagine how disastrous and hectic early-life was for the Emersons.
Now, you may think that Zeven is a strange name, but his siblings include brothers : Pilot, Atticus, Cotton, and Zephyr, and his sisters : Willow, Music, and Virtue. Zeven is only the fifth out of the eight, and never really had a big role in the family. He mostly went on long, quiet, shoeless walks along the beach, or spent a lot of alone time in parks. He found a passion in swimming the first time he saw the ocean at a very young age.
The family was on the nomadic side, always moving around Virginia. Whether it be by bus, train, or on foot, they made their way across the state and back again several times. Zeven doesn't know much about his extended family, besides that of a few aunts, uncles, and cousins. Anyone outside of the circle of known-family doesn't keep in touch with Hope and Ocean, due to the "immoral way of raising the children."
Zeven never had many friends outside of his own brothers and sisters, who were all very close in age. He was and is mostly a loner, and spent most of his time painting or making unique art with random things he found on the beach. He did, however, have a very close relationship with his mother, and happened to be favoured by her. (It may seem terrible to actually favour one of your children over the other, but with eight little monsters, it's not that hard!)
Life went on the same way during school for the most part. He did Independent Studies up until he turned sixteen, and for his Senior year, the family settled somewhere for him to attend a small highschool, where he graduated. Diploma in hand, the sudden feeling of success inspired him to continue on to college.
With the family's passionate belief in being ''free as a bird,'' they stayed still for four years longer, allowing him to attend college in the city. He majored in Education and in English merely because his mother considered herself a "teacher" and he wanted to do the same. When he was through with his schooling, they went right back to wandering the Virginia State. It wasn't until Zev turned thirty that he finally seeked out permanent change.
He parted ways with his family, as there was a teaching position open at a Public Boarding Highschool called Waverly High, and lucky for him, it was in Virginia. The swim coach had just quit his job or transferred or something like that, and he saw it as the perfect opportunity to teach others a passion he'd had for so many years.
He got the job by a landslide, and since he's been at Waverly, life has been totally different, save for the strange ocean-art, the swimming and snowboarding, and scarce amount of friends. He doesn't peak to his mother often, as she doesn't believe in electricity or course, but once in a while he'll hear from his brothers and sisters.
Hey doll!
Description: Where exactly on him does his hair fall?
Personality: What makes him happy, sad, angry and how does he react to these strong emotions? Opinion on other professors and coaches?
Siblings: Ages?
History: Home schooled children cannot attend college [I was home schooled, I know]. When a student graduates from home school they are given a sheet of paper that one of the parents who is teaching them can print up off their computer and only if they wanted something saying they taught their children something.
Actual colleges must have a copy of a diploma or GED from a high school in order to accept students. [I had to attend summer school my senior year in order to graduate with a diploma] O.O
Ah! See, we learn something new every day. ^_~
I think I changed all of it, and I also edited a few things you didn't point out. ie; parents' age, & I noticed I messed up on the number of siblings. I put all of the changes in bold [I THINK all of the changes..haha. ;D]
Hope that it's alright now.
