Description: His dark brown eyes match his black hair. When his hair was longer it was braided into cornrows, but now it is cut into a short fade. He also sports a moustache and a goatee on his chin. Occasionally he will do without the chin facial hair. His face is in an oval shape, and plump cheeks looking like he had more weight at one point. His chin is almost flat, with a slight round to it. He has a flat forehead that is a bot shorter then the length of his nose. His nose is wide and fits his face well. He has almond shaped eyes that almost look slightly squinted. He has plump lips, that stretch out to the middle of his eyes. He stands at 5'10" and weighs around one hundred sixty five pounds. His body isn't the masterpiece it used to be when he played football, but it still rather large with muscle. He is half African American, and half Muslim. The African American features outweigh his Muslim features, but his skin is a lighter brown color. When he is not working he wears clothes associated with a gangster lifestyle. When he is working he wears either jeans or slacks and a button up shirt.
Personality: Rasaq is a friendly guy, smiling at people as he walks by. He will make an outreach towards someone if he recognizes them or believes they need to be spoken too. He is not afraid to talk to even a random person if he feels the need to. He is generally happy but he rarely sad. If he does become sad though he will usually hnag his head as he walks and slouch. He lets anger build up inside of him, and this will usually be appearant by his voice raising and eye lids opening more to reveal his whole eye.

History: Born to a young eightteen year old Aisha Seriki, Rasaq Seriki was almost doomed. His mother was single, jobless, and had no money. Rasaq spent the first five years of his life with his grandparents and mother. He watched as his mother battled a cocaine addiction and as his grandpa watched football. Rasaq loved the game from the start and could never look away. When he turned six his mother, now sober, moved into her own apartment and took him with. Their life was going in the right direction now.

From age six to sixteen Rasaq developed one crucial thing: Football skills. He was still in love with the game and was playing it in middle school and was second string his freshmen year in high school. He transfered to Waverly, living only three blocks away, and entered their first year open as a sophomore. He became a football star there. He was the team's highlight running back. Most people thought he was just some dumb jock, but Rasaq loved math. It was his second love. He was in Advanced Calc. classes in his Junior year. His senior year, he led the Waverly High team to a state championship which they lost. His football experiences were just starting though.

Rasaq was somewhere new to him. California was not the place he was used to. Juggling classes, friends, and football was tough, but Rasaq handled it. All four years he started, was named to the Dean's List, named an Academic All-American as well as a All-American. His senior year he won the Heisman Award after leading his team at Stanford to a National Championship game. He completely tore his ACL, PCL, and MCL within the first ten minutes of the game. He was injured on the first play of his team's second possesion. On the first possesion by his team he scored the first, and last touchdown in the game. The final score was 10-9 in his teams favor. He was told he could never play football again.

Luckily Rasaq had gotten his teaching degree and majored in mathematics. He moved home with his mother and submitted an application to Waverly High. He was accepted and has been teaching since the 2002-2003 school year. He was known to be trim and proper during the week, but on Friday and Saturday nights he partied. His girlfriend of one year gave birth to their son Raekwon, but died moments later. Ever since his son was born he has not gone to a club or drank any alcohol. He gained his girlfriend's house through her will, and moved in only five blocks from the school. To this day, he walks to and from school, the same way he did ten years ago.

Just wanted to let you know we have a math professor. So I don't know what Kay will do. If you want you can teach the algebras and I will teach the higher maths like Calc, geometry and Trig.

Ya, I can do algebra. Thats quite alright. Math is one of my passions in real life, so it's cool either way.
