Title: Season Premier
Description: Satellite problems, missed episode

fredkath - September 26, 2005 05:13 AM (GMT)
Would someone be so kind as to give us at least a summary of tonights Season Premier?
Our satellite was 'acting up', and we got only sporadic images and dialogue.
We spent a very frustrating hour.
We did see the opening 'teaser', then things went downhill from there.

We have no idea who stepped out of the limo. We don't know what's going on withe CJ and the lawyer,
we don't know what the deal is with Leo and the whole campaign.

Please help! We've been looking forward to this episode since the end of last season, as I'm sure you all have.

Talk about FRUSTRATING!

Thank you to ANY one who can offer some 'tid bits' for us.

Well Santos was concerned with Leo's ratings. They had a reckoning in which Santos told Leo the only way he was getting out of the VP role was to trump up another heart attack. This came after Leo conered Santos and told him there were other options if Santos wasn't happy with Leo on the ballot. The secen ended with Santo conceding the fact that Leo's expertise was not in cmapigning but in running and country. The two immediately started working a plan for policy implementation. It was nice.

Donna asked Josh for a job in a very heart wrenching scene. Josh had to decline because of some comments donna made while working for the opposition. Josh stated that not a day goes by that he does not miss Donna as she was fleeing out the campaign office in near tears. Wow it was sad to see that scene.

Santos is only nine points down, everyone is very excited to see his numbers. They start a new image campaign after the polls announce the voters think Santos is appealing but not hard enough to be a leader in tough world.

Leo deals with some addiction issues, the press make it a point to ask useless questions of a man who has already displayed uncanny ability to magae a country.

C.J is now the suspect in the leak. The white house council goes to barttlett but doesn't disclose his suspicion. things could gt ugly for C.J.
Needless to say Toby is very unhappy about this.

This is all I have time to write at the moment but when I return expect a more detailed accounting of the best show ever!!!!!

Thank you SO much for this 'installment' of last night's premier! Very kind of you!
Can't wait for the rest......

That scene with Donna and Josh sounds like a tear jerker! I hope this doesn't mean that Donna won't be around much longer. Also CJ. The leak could be her 'departure' from the series too.
I hope NOT! Both are GREAT characters!

I wonder who Santos will get for a running mate if Leo goes back to his other duties, and backs out of the running. Maybe SAM will return?
That'd be FANTASTIC! Sam was just TOO GOOD to leave!

We'll wait for whatever else you have to add. Thank you for helping us.
You can't IMAGINE how frustrated we were!!! Well, maybe you CAN! (o:

Leo isn't leaving. As I said they have come to an understanding. Its all gravy.

I hope C.J.'s plight resolves itself in a fashion condusive to our appreciation for her role as a counselor and all around good girl.
The thing between donna and josh is a sad affair indeed. Maybe the writers were just having some fun with us and will conspire to right her back in josh's life after josh takes sometime to sleep on it. or maybe now that theydon't work together they will realize just how much theyneed eachother and will wed. Though that would be a cheesy fairytale type thing. Still if I were Josh i would pursue that with some gusto. Ah it seems we are poised for another great year of The West Wing. woo haa
