I think they were asking about an official release there spy... I want to support the makers of The West Wing... that and not to mention that it is illegal to sell and or advertise that material... I mean I Tivo TWW which is bad (but we all do that) but I don't sell that recorded material. That's just wrong! Besides why would we wont the commercials!? Isn't that what the pause button for? That and any good pirate could cut out the commercials...

Needless to say I've pre-ordered and can't wait.

Yeah but I really dont know what I'm going to do until April, I suppose I'll have to be happy with a continuous cycle of re-watching seasons 1-4!

Yeah, thinking much the same myself. I ordered it on Amazon yesterday and probably the weekend after it arrives will be my Season Five watchathon. I did much the same in March when I bought season four. Watched most of the episodes back to back and then dipped into the DVD from time to time. I wonder what the writers have got in store for us this time around. Can't wait!

You are so lucky not to have seen Season 5 - I watched it on E4 but have got my copy preordered and can't wait to watch it again! It will be interesting to see what you think of the writing without Sorkin's input. Enjoy!!!

No, he's not one of the writers for season 5. Once you get used to the different styles of writing it's just as fab! Good luck with catching some debilitating illness for next week!!!

this arrived in the post this week from Amazon. Spent every night this week watching them again. Its a good series, and it contains one of my favourite episodes - the supreme's.

Now just a few months wait till series 6 comes out :(

At least if i watch it on tv i will have to wait a week between episodes and not just lock myself away when it comes out on dvd

not sure about season 6 - im one disc away from completion of season 5 and i must say its been a good season not blown away like i was in season 3 but the first few episodes were fantastic but i noticed the change in writing styles the characters diction was different even if only slightly on occasions.

and omg whats the deal with josh and the constant bad books for about 10 episodes!!! --- get over it....

and will someone take that stick out of abbey bartlets arse please....

Supposedly Season 6 is due to be on Channel 4's new channel More4, from the autumn. But Amazon has the DVD due for release on September 26.
