Just picked it up today, and I have to say this game is the most fun I've had in a while.
What makes me compare it to Chu Chu Rocket? It's fast paced, it's unique, it looks cutesy, and it's ever so addicting.
Essentially it's a puzzle action game with a fast pace. You have to draw pac-mans to get them to eat the ghosts on the screen. Want them to turn? Draw a line in front of them and they will hit it and turn whichever way you drew it.
You control the size of the pac-mans as well. The bigger you draw them, the slower they move.
Every level gives you a set number of ghosts to eat and limits the time and number of pac-mans you can draw, forcing you to really think whether it's such a good idea to draw three at once.
And they have a scoring system, so you can keep going back to try and improve your score on levels you've already beaten. I know that's not much of an incentive for some poeple, but that's the ultimate in replay value for me - trying to achieve perfection.
Anyway if you've got a DS, this game should be its new best friend.
Chu Chu Rocket, Waka Waka Waka Waka! Chu Chu Rocket, Waka Waka Waka Waka! Oh man, that japanese commercial was something to see for sure.
Gen
Man - I'm disappointed that the game seems to be censored from the JP version... the ability to draw
farting butts seems to be gone :(
As I'm not a fan of needless censorship, I would have to recommend getting the import version instead.
