I have to vote for Sunspot on this one. First off he's older than Ray, been training since he was 15 years old and he's almost 26 now. Ray's been training for maybe 2 or three years. His powers have been growing considerably, and frankly anything that Ray throws at him will only make him more powerful.

If Ray tries to blast him with energy, Roberto's body will absorb it. That makes him stronger, run and fly faster and more dangerous. If Ray shot enough energy into Roberto's body it would make him nearly as strong as Supreman. One swift punch, and Ray is down for the count and in a different time-zone.
