Title: Application Question
Jakazul - August 16, 2005 11:58 PM (GMT)
About the character aplications...
Now, I'm not saying we should get rid of them, but remember how at old YJUTT we used to just have a member say "can I play Batman" we say "yeah, go ahead, post a bio" and that was it?
Let's make it more like that.
It's silly and confusing to have them PMed to specific admins and besides that if an admin can't get to their comp or whatever for a while they could have aplications just sitting there.
How about we have an aplications thread. The member applying can post his aplication there and one of the admins or moderators can approve it or dissaprove it in a replying post.
That way we have a record of who's been approved and, better yet, if someone goes on vacation or feels like being lazy, there's more than one person who sees the aplication, so it can stil be approved or dissaproved.
...I think it's a good idea...
And you know Matt'll agree.

[Insert post agreeing with Jake with a witty comment]

I DISAGREE! THE IDEA SUCKS! TOTALLY TOTALLY SUCKS!
....
Little too much?
Yeah, I think everyone knows I'm kidding. Sounds like a good idea to me, much more convenient. Which of us can approve?

The way we do it now (through PM system) Jake's new suggestion (simple posts) |
Tad biased there, Mr. J.

No. Me saying "I agree" was a tad biast... Anyway, that's not what I meant by simple posts. I mean it is, but... I didn't know how else to word it!

I always wondered if anyone was even applying!
So a thread with "Can I play ........." "Yes/No" Would be the easiest thing ever.
If you want our one thing could be post a bio first.
