Name: Megumi "Daria" Scott

AKA: Mystic

Appearance: she has Black hair that would normally be in a ponytail when she is wearing the usual street clothes and she wears glasses in her civilian "form", yet when she is Mystic she has a gold and black skintight suit and her hair is straight and long. Daria is 5'9 and she weighs 140 pounds. She has green eyes and because of her Irish Asian heritage (1/2 Irish, 1/2 Japanese to be exact).

Arsenal: A Prodigy in the world of alchemy, Mystic can control the four mythical elements (Earth, Fire, Wind and Water) and thus can throw fire and ice from her left hand, fly, and provide shields for her friends. Her artificial hand can become any bladed weapon she can think of. She just has to think about it and she will turn in to her superhero clothes. As of OYL, she has dropped the hand blade and from her training has aquired a spirit mode as well.

Weaknesses: Mystic is human and can be hurt, injured, fall ill or killed. She had cancer in her hand and she has a hard time getting over that. Her hand being the way that it is makes her scared of meeting people and feels that they will dislike her because of it and look at her funny. She has a "Battosai" mode that she goes into and it is hard to control the amount of power coming from her.


History:the year is 2022, everything that we today believed will happen in the future has happened (flying cars, Robot servents, liquidated foods, etc) but even in this time certain things cannot be fixed. Daria Scott grew up a normal yet wealthy girl in New York and had no worries, that is until she got cancer in her arm, which eventually traveled to her right hand and she had to get it cut off in order to get rid of the cancer. Even though she was 13 at the time, it haunts her even to this day. After that, her parents refused to go to anymore doctors and she lived with a stump for a right hand for the next three years.

One day when she was walking from school Daria was almost hit by a truck that was carrying toxic waste, shielding herself with her left hand while the conents spalshed all over her. The next day while she was runing home from school and it was raining, running from the rain she felt that no rain was hitting her. She found out that she could control the four mystical elements. Later her parents decided to take her to a friend of theirs who decided to go and make her new hand with auto mail, frightened about the fact that she was going to have a metalic arm scared her but the scientist assured her that she would be fine.

After the hand was felling better, Daria started to noticed that she was able to turn her new hand into a bladed weapon. After noticing that, her parents decided to take her to Japan to live with her godmother Kei Kusanagi, a very good alchemist and kendo (sword) teacher. After a tearful good-bye, Daria was on her way to Japan to go to Kei's house and trained with her for one year in the art of alchemy and Kendo in order to train with her powers and skills. Mastering her powers, Daria felt very powerful and "Mystical" and decided to help other people by using her powers to defeat villians and because it would make people appretiate her gift instead of shunning her. After saying that she would visit again, she went back to New york and told her parents what she was going to do, they said okay and to be careful.

The day after that, the scientist that helped Daria get her new hand heard about what she wanted to do and arrived in New York in order to tell Daria and her parents that due to her motovation to help people, she should go into te past an help people there. Daria and her parents met Kei at their house and after a tearful goodbye, Daria left to go to the Scientist's lab and with her help came to our time through a time machine that was set for 2005 and is currently living with her aunt and uncle in Alabama, where she has a job as a waitress for their sushi/coffee shop and as a part-time helper for the disabled at a orphanage. She is starting to discover the stress of working as a superhero but remembering her loved ones and the kids she helps take care of reminds her why she chose to do what she does. Just recently she started to go to Elias high for girls with Cassandra Sandmark (Wonder girl II), Greta Hayes (Secret), Duo Merquise (Shinigami) and Cissie-king jones, she also met Freddy Freeman (Captain Marvel Jr/CM3) and they are now dating, this relationship seems to be a promising one.

OYL: Mystic has been training for a while with her alchemy teacher Waribashi. As the training progressed, she found out that she gained new powers and even a new costume, how this will effect her wil be unknownuntil she uses them, but she knows that it may be some ghost-like power and it may cancel out some of her original powers.

Update on powers: Since finishing her training, Daria's magic is now on par with Harm's (she can really hold her own now!) She has mage status and invulnerability (Near immortality, yet can still be hurt). She has gained ghost-like powers yet still retains her elemental powers although some have been canceled.

Update on costume: Daria seems to have a monk-like costume that is silver and has a hood (It's like Elvira's white mage cloth or Waribashi's red mage cloth). she can fase in and out of it like her original costume.

Update on appearance: Daria has no metallic hand! She has fully healed herself and now looks normal. Her hair can turn silver and she can turn her eyes silver.
