Title: Dear I Forgot Your Name... Again
Description: (The life of Jakazul)

Well, guess who gets the first entry to the YJUTT blog...
Hopefully you all already know how this thing works, so I'm just gonna launch into a brief interval of elevator music to sooth the soul...
...
...
...
And now for something completely different. [Insert explosions.]
So last night, I, along with eleven others (Nick, Elizabeth and Lacey (from school), Alyse, Rita, Sam, Buddy, Marli, Austin (who I've never met), Alex (Alyse and Sam's friend) and Jaren) all went to see Red Eye.
But you don't know who any of these people are, do you?
...Oh well. Live with it, I may post a character cheat-sheet soon.
The movie was better than I expected, despite the fact that I made fun of half of it.
We left and while we were standing out in the lobby this off-duty policeman started hovering around us, giving us random glares and talking to us totally uneededly when any of us did anything, so finally we decided to just go outside and avoid him, since he was obviously looking for someone to do something wrong. (Ohmigosh, a group of teenagers at the movies, soemething must be afoot, call in backup) A moment later the officer followed us.
There was this huge pile of vomit on the sidewalk that no one was cleaning and it stunk and Alex dared Sam to kick his coke on it and when he did (and it ended up being a full coke... half full... half empty... whatever) the officer came and pulled him away out of the crowd to call, without giving us any explanation.
We all went back in. Lacey asked the other policeman what was happening and he told her it was all "out of his hands", Alyse, Elizabeth and I went to talk with Jaren and a friend of his and a cop came up to us and asked us if we had tickets. We said we'd just gotten out and he said we would have to leave now, so we all walked off (after paying $6.25 for a ticket I can't stand in the theatre cause some jerk-off cop doesn't like teenagers?) and waited for Sam. The cop approached us again and we just walked off and went outside again.
Finally the cop came back with Sam and told us we all needed to leave. Rita told him we couldn't drive (which is only partially true, but none of us have cars, so it might as well be) and were waiting for rides. He said we needed to leave again and we all told him that we WERE waiting for rides. So he sent Sam and Alex off to stand at the curb instead of on the property. Buddy smarted off, the cop told him to watch it and he said okay and turned away to walk off and then the cop started cursing at him and sent him off too and then stood and watched us after giving us another lecture even though we hadn't done a thing. It was so stupidly ridiculous. He finally walked off when it was down to just Lacey, Alyse and me. (I guess two hot girls and one guy are less threatening than a guy pouring coke into puke.) When their rides came I got in the car and went home.
My parents started to defend the cop and I totally went off on them, which resulted in close to a half hour of us arguing back and forth before they finally admitted that I was right in everything I'd said. (Which basically consisted of "I don't like this stupid cop dumping on us 'cause we're teens and he's an a**hole"... And yes, I did use that exact term.) It's all so stupid.
Anyway, it was a really crappy end to an otherwise good night, but did get my first full night's sleep in a long time.
Tell me that's not a killer first entry, and it's all 100% true too!
Stay gold.

So I went to this screamo concert at a club a few blocks away -five bands for five bucks, that alone will tell you that I only went 'cause one of my friends was and I was bored out of my mind- and it totally rocked!!!
...Okay, actually it was one of, if not the, most boring concert I've ever been too. Two of the bands were pretty good, the others weren't and the crowd just stood around with their hands in their pockets, standing in front of the stage in their dickies and mohawks with this confused look on their heavily pierced faces like "am I supposed to be headbanging or should I go sit down somewhere and find a radio".
One band asked how they were and people started yelling "you suck" and one guy flipped them off. Animosity; The reason a garage band should never ask if you want to hear another song.
This guy that my friend likes was there and he totally blew her off so that she was in a sad mood and my other friend headbanged (yes, like one of four that actually moved) so much that she has a headache.
If you want to check out one of the best bands, go to www.laowillrise.com. The other band -I think- was TEC. They're on purevolume I think. Pretty good, but most songs sounded the same.
The other bands were Yesterday Rising, New Rome and Evangeline, I've seen them before at a Change of Pace concert and thought "well, they might have potential"... I'm afraid I was wrong.
In other news... School is being schoolish. I've got an A average in ever class thusfar, so I'm... erm... as happy as I can be whilst being overloaded with homework.
Now something that you may actually find interesting...
...Nope. I lost it.
Rock on.

...Well that was certianly unexpected. Someone didn't read the FAQ. *Makes shame sign with fingers.*
Anyway, life is... really hectic right now.
Lots of school, lots of rehearsals (I'm the sultan in Aladdin, city-wide play, hurray) and lots of... other random crap.
I don't really have a story to tell right now, I'm just off for lunch (and back to school in about ten minutes, bah) so I figured I'd update.
Lessee...
When we last left Jake, he was returning from a crappy screamo concert, worn yet happy with life in general.
Now we join him, one month later, sitting alone in is room typing his thoughts in third person...
I'll have a better update sometime. Really.

I'm sure that you will be shocked when you see,
That I, Jake Fox, am making a new entry.
It's been many a month since last we spoke,
And you were probably thinking "where the hell is that bloke?"
Well here I am and I'm writing today,
Though I'm not sure for just how long I can stay.
School is long and school is tiresome.
Monotenous, annoying and somewhat a cunundrum.
My computer is fried and the weather is hot.
Math is a pain and chemistry's odd.
I'm looking for recipes for fudge to make.
I think I'm gonna go to Dallas over spring break.
I have a great new girlfriend with whom I have little time to spend,
But hopefully my schedule will soon be able to bend.
So now I'm afraid that, though I'd love to chat,
I've got projects due and I must work on that.
So farewell for now my fine little friends,
It's finally time for this bad rhyme to end.
The stanzas are short and the words are a stretch.
Now off with you: For me, a shrubbery fetch!
Ni!
(This has been a Jake Fox exclusive.)

You're in theatre? Cool. Break a leg, at that term goes. Though in the dance world we say "merde." I wonder what singers say and what term is appropriate for musicals.....
