lol Hey it was Jake's match, I wasn't sure who to vote for either but I'm going to go with Spike since he's not only good with a gun, but he's totally awesome in hand to hand. And for those not Cowboy Bebop savvy...

Three years ago, Spike decided to abandon his past and strike out on a life of his own, so he left the Red Dragons (a Chinese Mafia group) and teamed up with Jet Black to roam the solar system in search of bounty and adventure. A lean, laid-back individual, Spike is nonetheless competent in his abilities. His idol is 20th-century martial artist and philospher Bruce Lee, and he is constantly practicing his own Jeet Kune Do skills. He has yet to lose a fair fight hand-to-hand (well, except to Ed's father). Combine this with proficiency with a handgun, and he is definitely not a man to mess with.

Though he doesn't really own it, Spike calls the Bebop home. Home life for Spike, though, is relatively tame. If he isn't practicing his martial arts, he's watching the TV. TV is the Space Cowboy's best friend because of Big Shot, a "Solar System's Most Wanted" for bounty hunters.

Spike also has a personal craft: his transit from home ship to planet. His "baby" is named Sword Fish II. Spike's personal ship was originally a Sword Fish asteroid racer (a notorius racing circuit in its day) but has since been customized to make it one of the fastest personal ships in existence. It is very maneuverable yet capable of incredible speeds, and it is able to fly both in air and in space.

Yeah but using a Sword AND a gun is just too badass. I mean, you're fighting some dude with swords and all of a sudden he caps you! You'd be all like "OMG, he just capped me! I didn't know he brought guns to this sword fight." and the guy who capped you would be all like "Yeah...I'm badass."

I voted Punisher. It's not that I don't know that Spike would win, 'cause I KNOW that spike would win, it's just that there's only been one other vote for him and I didn't want him to feel all lonley when he gets his butt kicked.
Which goes back to what Matt said: Deathstroke and Deadpool both have swords and guns, so it could be the other way around too.
You run out into a gun fight wearing your kevlar vests and holding two semi-automatics, jump down there with bullets blazing and then land on a sword blade and get cut in half and you're like "crap, that wasn't fair" and then you fall over dying and THEN they cap you.
They've got to eventually. If they just cut you in half you might stay dead, if they shoot you at any time durring the fight, or blow you up, or burn you in acide, or any crap like that, then you can come back in the next issue and be all pissed like "hey man, you little bizatchastag you capped me" and they'll be all like "dude, you're s'posed ta be dead, yo" and you'll be all "you capped me!" and then you can run out there with your sword and gun...

I voted spike, That show is great so i'm going on the fact that the anime could beat the movie i saw of The Punisher.
Anyway, Spike rocks with his fighting skills alone! so if they had no weapons, spike would still win.

well i have yet to vote cuz it's hard to decide..but fran has military traning so i'm sure he can some hand to hand combat also

That's what I'm not too sure of. I mean, that's Jeet Kun Do. I think even if Punisher knows hand to hand, Spike would totally spank him. When it comes to explosives and guns and all that's where I think it gets a little fuzzy.
