(This is set after the current Teen Titans story for reasons that'll be obvious later in it. Decided to just have Doomsboy already be a member since I couldn't figure out how to do the story without my character involved until the middle. So it's Matt's choice as to whether he wants to have Supergirl involved from the beginning or have her join at some time during the story.)

It had been weeks since Batman had given the message to the Outsiders letting them know that Nightwing would be gone for extended amount of time. While the remaining members had offered their help, Batman had insisted that this was a "batclan only" mission. During the weeks they had run across the renegade, Doomsboy, who was searching for a purpose. After years of doing what he was cloned to do, and later doing the opposite out of spite, he was looking for what he wanted to do and if he still got the beat the crap out of people in the process well, kick @$$!

There had been a meeting called between the Outsiders do decide whether they'd say the Hell with what Batman said and go to help one of their own or not. Leaning back in his chair, Doomsboy looked at the others, he wasn't sure whether his opinion really mattered or not since he was a relatively new member. Also he was trying to think of a way to phrase it better than 'Hells yeah we should go! I wanna hit something! Though I never did like those bats anyway, annoyed me more than the Supers.'

Esper piped up from the side. "Well, I know when I went to help Nightwing without him asking, he got really angry. And I don't want to see Nightwing angry at me again, much less Batman..." she concluded with a grimace.

Arsenal looked at the members of the team, with Dick gone, he was the leader and they would look up to him "Well, I don't know about the Bats, but Nightwing is one of us and we don't leave our team members behind".

"But we don't even know where they went, or what they were doing," replied Esper with a deep frown. "We could be making things worse by showing up; maybe Nightwing doesn't need our help."

"Hmm.." Arsenal thought with a grim look on his face "She has a point about that" he thought looking up again he said "Why don't we ask Superman or some other member of the JLA?, I can ask Ollie or Conner." Tinking about his surrogate father and brother made him think about how come they didn't contact him in the first place when hey found out that Batman was missing, but he wasn't Speedy anymore and he knew he could deal with it.

Esper blinked confusedly. "Ask them what?"

Arsenal looked at her and replied "We ask certain members of the league if they have seen Batman. Esper, you ask Superman. Doomsboy, you ask Wonder woman and I'll talk to Green Arrow (I).

"So then what would i do" said Bloodless with a smirk on his face as he entered from the door.

It's been week's maybe months since Kyle's seen the team he was out of action for quite some time due to some "personal issues", he he had asked nightwing for time off from the team, he didn't seem so pleased. But at least he was back and he was gonna try and make it up to them...

"anything i missed?" he said looking towards Esper

Arsenal looked up in surprise as Bloodless came in "Hey kid!" he said you'll talk to the flash, you gotta be fast about it though, his attention span is slow" he laughed as he said that.

Doomsboy raised his head as he saw a guy with white hair walk in. Everyone else seemed to know him so he could only assume that he was a member before. But then something triggered. "Wait...I get to talk to Wonder Woman? Sweeeeeet." He noticed that Esper didn't seem too keen on the idea of asking the JLA about it, to be honest Doomsboy didn't care one way or the other. "What about the team the other bats were on? The Teen Tights or something like that..."

"Huh?" asked Esper with a startled impression. "You want me to just, what, fly up to Superman and say 'Excuse me, have you seen Batman?' What the hell is wrong with you? That's the worst plan I've ever heard. Are you on drugs?"

Arsenal looked at her fiercely "Don't mention drugs in front of me and If you've got a better plan then say so!!!" looking at doomsboy, he said "Its the Teen Titans, Doomsboy not the Teen Tights!!" Roy leaned back in his chair and tryed to catch his breath amazing that Esper said that, his drug history was clear in his mind, he was just trying to get his teammate and friend back thats all looking at her again he sadi "I'm sorry I went off on you like that esper,I know its probably not the best plan, but I just want my friend back and I know you feel the same. If you have a sugestion, we're all ears."

"umm, not to be a jerk or anything but i'm a bit clueless here, what am i asking flash and while we're on that topic why do i have to talk to the flash while he gets to talk to wonder women" he said pointing at doomsboy

"not that i have anything aginst him.....whoever he is for that matter"he said right after


he then looked around the room with a blank expression.

"umm is it yust me of is someone missing?" he said looking towards esper "so where's your boyfriend?"

Esper seemed taken aback at Arsenal's outburst. What did he think she was, a mind reader?

...well, OK , so she WAS a mindreader, but she tried not to invade other people's thoughts unless it was necessary. It's rude.

Esper turned to glare at Bloodless. "I hope you're referring to Nightwing, because if you mean that slime Lobo, I swear you'll spend the rest of your life under the impression that you're a gay rottweiler!"

OK, Esper thought to herself as her face turned bright red, maybe that threat didn't make alot of sense, but I'm under ALOT of pressure here.

With a small sigh, Esper turned back to Bloodless. "I'm sorry. I guess Arsenal isn't the only one who's wound up a little tight today. We don't know where Nightwing is. He got a call from Batman, and just disappeared, and we're very worried."

Turning back to Arsenal, Esper spoke again in a slightly calmer tone of voice. "I do have another idea, as a matter of fact," she replied. "Maybe we shouldn't start at the top; maybe we should start at the bottom. If Nightwing left us, maybe the other Bat-Whatevers are gone, too. We should call the Titans and ask if Robin is there, and if not, whether they know where he is. Or, better yet, let's call Young Justice and see if Falcon is there, that way I can mess with that jerk Invisible Kid again."

Arsenal looked at esper as she was filling Bloodless in on the scoop turning in his chair as she looked at him, he looked up with intrest "I do have another idea, as a matter of fact," she replied. I mean I'm technically the leader when Nightwing is not around but it is your plan." he said smiling at her.

bloodless eyes were half closed as he was getting insulted by Esper...sure he deserved it so he didn't mind it much in fact he almost missed getting yelled at by her, for the last couple of months he was gone and he was not sure as how his old team would welcome him back. Seeing as he never really spoke to each member about why he dissapered.

"not a problem.It was like old times i guess" he said with a smile back to her."anyway's seeing as how he's gone i agree that, thats the best plan i've heard all day, and i doubt i could come up with anything better so, shall we get the show on the road." he said with a smirk

Doomsboy smiled as the others bickered back and forth for a bit. Seemed like this team was going to be fun and Bloodless just helped to stir the pot. "Lobo was on this team? That totally rocks! Anyway, sounds like a good idea to me too. By the way, whose the new guy? No manners, no manners at all." He said with a smirk, he didn't know anything about Nightwing, but from what he heard the guy was good at his job, he was just a bit anal at times. But if they could tolerate Lobo on the team then he wouldn't be a problem at all.

Esper just blinked at him. "Oh my stars, not another one," she muttered just a little too loudly as she walked over to the com panel, sending a signal to Young Justice's Secret Volcano Lair.

((OOC: Mark, a question on timing- is this taking place before, during or after the YJ/Titans story? I ask so that I know whether anybody is in the Secret Volcano Lair or not when Esper calls. Easiest for me would be before, but it's your call.))

(I was thinking after would make more sense, considering Doomsboy would still be evil during and before the YJ/TT story. Also Harm got the call at the beginning of that story so the Outsiders would have gotten it just a little before. So as for whether anyone else is there, the only one's who'd probably be there would be possibly Super and maybe Duo since the others would most likely be at their homes and all.)

Young Justice HQ

Supersonic dashed around HQ being chased close behind by his pursuer. Not an unusual sight around here, he stopped by Invisible Kid who seemed to be getting a call. "Oooo! Whose that?!" But before he could be answered he looked to see that it was Esper as well as the others he could assume were the rest of the Outsiders. "Wait...is that Doomsboy? Geeze! What? Is it like a requirement for every team to have one reformed villain?"

"Nope! Sometimes they have two!" Duo's voice said behind Marx, finally catching up to him. "Sorry, about that Lyle." She said dragging Super out of view.

Arsenal looked at the monitor as Esper tapped into the YJ headquarters "Why couldn't we have a base in Hawaii? Arsenal thought thinking about his early Titans days blocking that from his mind, he thought abou thow the two younger teams were dealing with their teams "The Titans are missing Robin anbd Young Justice are missing Falcon" he thought as the image of Supersonic came on the screen "Oooo! Whose that?! Wait...is that Doomsboy? Geeze! What? Is it like a requirement for every team to have one reformed villain?" "ain't it the truth kid" arsenal thought.

"super villain, huh?" he said looking back at Doomsboy

"well if that ain't something new"

he looked around and saw that no one was really interested about talking about why the outsider's always had to have sum former villain or wannabe bada$$ on the team....

"so if the leaders for those team are missing as well, what does that leave for us?" he asked to anyone that could answer

Just then a swarm of bats burst into the meeting room, swirlled around some of the people there before hitting the floor to make the shape of a man.
"Not interuping anything am I? Only all this talk about bats got my ears burning"

Arsenal looked around as he heard the sound of bats "what the Hell!" he said out loud "Why do they always do that! Ollie, Conner, Mia and I never shoot out millions of arrows before we come into a room!" he thought angerily . "Not interuping anything am I? Doomsboy smirk slightly as he was acknowledged as the "villain on the team". Pretty cool title if he could say so himself. Suddenly a bunch of squeeks were heard and the room became full of bats that formed into a person. "And the award for the best entrance goes to..."

"Who are you and what are you doing here!"

"Oh, that's Nocturnal. Vampire dude I met yesterday, thought he'd be a good addition. Team seems a little low on members." Doomsboy said with a cocky smile. "Let's cut to the chase." He said looking at the monitor, his impatience getting the better of him. "Yo Invisiboy! You heard anything from Robin or the others?"

(Wooo, now Harm's the only character I have that hasn't randomly invited someone on the team! Go me!)

"Oh, that's Nocturnal. Vampire dude I met yesterday, thought he'd be a good addition. Team seems a little low on members." Doomsboy said with a cocky smile. "Let's cut to the chase." He said looking at the monitor, his impatience getting the better of him. "Yo Invisiboy! You heard anything from Robin or the others?"


"Like my big green bigger of a friend said, I'm Nocturnal, and you would be.....Chelsea? Tottenham? No wait...Arsenal, that's it, you're gun won't do much" Nocturnal said with a smile. "Is anyone going to fill me in? Like whats going on and, more importantly, where's the beers?"

"well if i'm correct all the bat people are missing, other then that Esper would know the rest" he said looking at the new member

he then walked back to a chair and took a seat and began thinking back to when he first join the team, it's not the same he thought, most of the old members were gone and it seemed like new members were yust coming out of no where, and at that nightwing was missing, he stoped a secound yust to imagen nightwings face when he see's the new team, he chuckled a bit

"this is gonna be fun" he said to himself

Arsenal looked at Doomsboy like he wanted to shoot an arrow into his butt "Next time, talk to me or Nightwing before you bring anyone on the team." getting back to his seat he said to nocturnal "We don't have any beers, but if you think you can help then you're in."

Nocturnal smiled "I came all this way and you don't have any beer? Talk about bad hosts. But,....I suppose I'll stick around, I'm sure there must be a use for my talents"

Arsenal looked at him and shook his head "just sit down Nocturnal" he said showing him a chair turning towards the screen again.

Nocturnal smiled and took a seat, "Isn't Supergirl in this wee team? Cos I saw a pic of her in a paper and she is one fine looking girl"

Arsenal looked at Nocturnal in his seat "Yeah but she hasn't came around in a while, life must be busy in Metropolis" he laughed.

Nocturnal slumped in his seat, "No beer, no blondes and I still haven't been introduced to everyone, might as well stayed in Glasgow, where there's beer and blondes as far as the eye can see"

Arsenal looked at Nocturnal and laughed "There girls here, but they all are like amazon's, but just from saying that, I know you and I are going to get along great. And my name is Roy Harper,Second in comand of the Outsiders. You may already know that though." he said taking out his hand

"Amazons, never met any, few leprechauns and banshees but never any amazons. By the way, I'm guessing your name's nothing to do with the London football club?"

Bloodless sat around listening to the ongoing conversation's around him, he nevered talked much, which could have been the reason that last time he was in the team it didn't seem to work out much. He looked around the room, the outsiders were always a team with new faces around and he would alway have to find a way to break the ice between him and the other, something which he was never good at not even in the old Azgra day's...

:hmm: he thought to himself while looking towards doomsboy :if that guy didn't look at least a bit familiar:

he then stood up from his seat "all this talk about beer and blondes is making me want to go out and hit the road and find ourselves some of both" he said out loud looking at the team. "if nothing's gonna happen, and we're yust gonna sit around here, a few beer's and a nice bottle of jack D wouldn't hurt, huh guy's" he said with a smirk
