Known Powers:
Burnout can project coherent high-energy plasma. He does not, as many seem to believe, shoot fire from his fingers. The plasma bursts into flame when exposed to oxygen. Clearly, he is impervious to heat, if he weren’t the scar would be far deeper than anything the eyes could see. He is also able to fly by creating thermal updrafts, which are able to carry him through the air. Burnout has such control over his powers that he is able to form fiery plasma shields that are able to melt bullets on contact and can reflect energy blasts as well.
Although his psychic powers haven’t been mentioned recently, but Burnout does indeed have Telepathy. They are not, however, as practiced as his fiery abilities, so he doesn’t dare to use it in battle yet. He still practices it in secret. Away from any prying eyes.

Known Weaknesses:
One weakness that many heroes share is over the control of their powers. Burnout does not share this weakness. He has such finite control that he can melt sand into glass sculptures. He has spent many a day controlling his ability; it is his own strength, if anything. However he cannot control the needs of his plasma powers. If there is no oxygen or too little to spare he will not be able to use his powers normally. The plasma would either not burn staying in its plasma state, or burn the little oxygen left in the immediate area suffocating all there.
Of course, this need not be mentioned, however, Burnout is still a normal human being. No heightened immunity or anything of the sort. He can still get sick and die, although when in his fired form he is a bit more resistant.

History: Profile:
In his early years Burnout would have been described as a rebel, a bit of a loner. He only lived to play his electric guitar, uncaring of life outside of his own touch. Although unbeknownst to Robert he was the child of one of the super-powered special ops Team 7 members. For quite some time the horrid I.O. organization had been carrying out genetic experiments made to make “super-soldiers” for the government. Team 7 was also known as Gen12 (the 12th generation of the experiments), which was also among the first successes. Most previous attempts (the past generations) ended in death for the subjects. Aft insanity spread amongst the current generation, I.O. decided to begin anew with the children of Gen12, which was carefully dubbed Gen13.

Bobby was chosen as one of the newer candidates, still dubious to his history. It is there where he met his future teammates; Grunge, Fairchild, and Freefall. It was there, also, where his latent powers were unlocked. But when he and his friends discovered what would happen at the end of the experiment, which was to drug any successes, ultimately controlling them. After which they planned a breakout. While planning to flee they were joined by Sarah Rainmaker and Threshold. Threshold was there, however, on hidden pretenses. He was loyal to I.O. and was there to awaken Freefall and Grunge’s powers, while also creating a killer instinct within the group that the government desired. He did so, betraying the group immediately afterwards. All were taken captive once more. Although Fairchild was safe, she went back to save her comrades, which she did succeeding in also escaping once more alongside Mr. Lynch. Mr. Lynch was a former Team 7 member who had been fighting I.O. for many a year. Some time later it was found out that Lynch was Bobby's father, and after some initial awkwardness the two have come to accept this new dynamic in their relationship.
