Title: To Boldly Go...

Yup, thats your three, Benjamin Sisko from Deep Space Nine and Jonathan Archer from Enterprise are not included due to the fact one guy commanded a space STATION and one series was a total failed cash-in...that sucked.

Kirk all the way!!! "can't. move. must. go." I love that studderring captain!!

Screw it all. Cpt. Smith off Lost in Space beats them.

lol I voted Picard. Mainly because that's the only one I watched with anything even close to regularity. I actually watched DSN a good bit until the war thingie which bored me. Though funny fact, Enterprise is the only one I haven't seen a single episode of.

...Smith. SMITH I SAY.

Marx - December 22, 2005 07:27 AM (GMT)
lol And I'd agree with you!...if...I ever saw Lost in Space...most likely.

I vote for Captain Archer.

I LIKED Enterprise. It failed because it was so poorly publicised; it was actually a very good series, especially the last two seasons.

It did not suck. Voyager, on the other hand, was the epitome of suckiness.

I voted Picard. The shine off of his bald head was hypnotizing. And come on, it's Patrick Stewart, the guy can do just about anything.

And I know that what I am about to say will probably shock you all, but in my opinion the Captain Supreme (and I hate that he never gets into any of these polls) is SPOCK! Sure, he never wanted to take the center chair with Kirk around, but when he did, he got results and he knew absolutely what had to be done and how.

Also, and this is the Trekkie fan boy deep inside me, Enterprise did not SUCK! UPN SUCKS! Enterprise failed because the stupid executives at UPN did not when to let go. The Star Trek franchise is in need of a hiatus. If they would have waited a few years, then the fans would have excepted the show better than they did. Especially after the Dominion War debacle, the continued craziness on Voyager (which was actually okay until the stupid story line when they went back in time to Earth, and found Ed Begley, Jr as some stupid Bill Gates rip-off). After they killed Data in Star Trek 10, they just needed to step back and take a breather.

Okay, rant over.

(Have to nitpick: Jakazul, Smith from Lost In Space was a Doctor, not a Captain. Everyone on the Jupiter Two was a civilian with the exception of Don West, who was a Major. Zachary Smith was a physician, possibly even a scientist. AND HE DOES RULE!!)

Picard all the way. Though when I watch TNG now, I can't understand a word they're saying, must be getting dumber with age. Besides Stepid, Spock was well after the captain's chair, the second Kirk got up he was on it

Smith. Lost in Space, Cpt. Smith, I go with Smith.
