Terra sat on the rocks at the foot of Titans tower. Her eyes glowed yellow as a pebble levitated and shot across the water, skimming it's cold dark surface. The moon above was full and bright, creating a pale glow on the geokinetic's normally sunkissed skin. She was thinking about Gar, Deathstroke(/Slade?) and all that had happened between them, 'Have I really changed?' she thought to herself, sighing. She didn't feel she deserved to be back here, back with Gar and the Titans, in their comfy tower. She still felt like a traitor, she didn't deserve Gar's acceptance, or his love. Her eyes felt hot as she held back tears. Bringing her knees up to her chin, she hugged her legs and felt like running on. They didn't need her here.

Stepping out of the Tower, Beast Boy saw Terra sitting by the water's edge. He walked over to her, and sat down beside her. He picked up a rock and threw it. It didn't skip very well. Looking over at her, he didn't think she looked happy.
"Hey, Terra, are you okay?"

Turning around, she saw Beast Boy and noticed the rock he'd skimmed didn't go too far, had she taught him nothing? Sitting back a little, she looked up at him and said, "Nah...I'm fine...".
She obviously wasn't.
Giving a small sigh, she looked out at the ocean, her eyes staring blankly into the distance. She wanted to tell him, but then he'd only feel sorry for her and take her in, care for her more, and she didn't deserve that...at least, she didn't feel she deserved that...

"Fine? You don't look fine." Beast Boy said as he picked up another stone. He threw it and the stone skipped a few yards before sinking. Satisfied that he'd done better, he turned back to Terra.
"C'mon, you can tell me what's wrong. Don't make me pull out the cute fuzzy animals," he quickly changed into a small kitten and started playing with her hand. He hoped she would at least chuckle. He didn't like when his friends were blue.

Looking down at the tiny green kitten brought a smile to her face, but also tears. Scrunching her face to try and hold in the burning tears, she looked away and closed her eyes for a moment. Her voice quivered as she murmured, "Gar...how could you...."
Sniffling a little, she tried to pull herself together to finish her sentence, "..how could you still...accept me...?" she couldn't lie to him. She stroked the tiny kitten's head for a moment, finding comfort in his soft emerald fur.

Beast Boy changed back to human to answer the question. "I can because you are my friend."
He moved closer and gave her a hug, "Despite everything that has happened in the past to us and the others, especially between you and I, I think it shows we need to stick together. We're friends, you know."
He looked her in the eyes and smiled, hoping that she'd stop feeling blue, then he added, "Besides, you know I suck at holding a grudge."

Smiling, she couldn't resist his sweet nature. Deep inside, she was still hurting, she knew she shouldn't be accepted for what she had done, but when he hugged her, it was as if all that had happened in the past was gone, and she held onto him, not wanting to lose that feeling.
Looking up at him, she replied, "I'm still sorry....I never wanted to hurt you...."

Beast Boy was gald to see the smile he had hoped for, but he realized that this was going to be a long battle for both of them to get through this, but he, as always, was ready for the long haul.
"Terra, I'm not going to deny that it hurt, but we've here now, and we're okay. I forgave you, can't you forgive yourself?"

Finding his sweet optimism rubbing off on her, she nodded and said quietly, "I'll try..."
Looking at her feet, she smiled, beaming with happiness that the green animorph had bestowed upon her. Blushing slightly, she kept her eyes to the floor as she leaned on his shoulder.

Beast Boy hugged Terra. He wished that he could just stay in the moment and just wash away her worries, but that had never worked for him. Instead, he decided to take her, 'I'll try', and know that no matter what, he would help her. He had to.
He didn't want to let go.

Terra felt shivers up her spine when he hugged her, and a few small pebbles began to tremble around them. Bringing them to a halt, she wrapped her arms around him and hung on. She looked up at him with a smile and blushed.

When Beast Boy saw her smile, he broke into a grin of his own.
Swept up in the moment, he held her tighter, and kissed her.
After a bit, he pulled back, surprised at what he had done, and the only thought that ran through his mind was, 'She's gonna kill me'

Taken aback by his unexpected display of affection, she blushed when their lips met, but made no attempt to pull away. When he broke off the kiss, all she was thinking was 'oh my god'.
She looked up at him with wide blue eyes and tried to say something, "Beast Boy, I...." words couldn't describe how much she cared about him right now and so she pulled him towards her and returned his kiss.

Surprised as he was by the first kiss, Beast Boy was even more surprised when Terra pulled him in for another. Not that he was complaining, but it was unexpected.

After some time, she pulled away and smiled at him, blushing slightly, "You're the best, Gar" she murmured, running her fingers gently through his hairline. She had never felt more loved by anyone.

Beast Boy was stunned. He could have been knocked over with a feather after what just happened.
A few moments later, he regained control of his voice, saying, "Still feeling sad, Terra?"

Leaning her head on his shoulder, she looked out at the ocean and said "I really didn't want to stay here...I know the other Titans can't trust me again..."

"After all that...you'd still give me a chance..." she closed her eyes, blinking back a tear. He was too good to her.
"I hope you're right about the others, Gar...I did some pretty nasty things...."

Beast Boy thought for a moment.
"I'm not denying that you betrayed us, but you also helped save all of our lives, a lot. C'mon, that's gotta count for something, right?"
He looked back at the tower, how many times had they had to deal with one of the Titans turning bad. There was the episode with Terra, but there had also been others, particularly Raven, and they had all forgiven her.
"I'm sure they'll welcome with open arms, I am."

She gave him a smile and felt her heart pounding in her small ribcage, "Gar....you're the greatest..." she murmured before pressing her lips to his one more time.

Locked in another, Beast Boy just could not believe what they were doing. After a little bit, he seperated himself from her, smiling "You know, I could really get used to this."
After a few seconds, "Terra, you really are the greatest, you just need to realize it."

"Are you kidding me? I can't even control my powers properly...and after.." she shuddered at the though of his name, "...Deathstroke....everything's just so...messed up..." she looked up at him, glad she could pour out her feelings to him. She finally realised that she could completely trust him, "Gar, I don't wanna leave you..." her fingers lightly grasped his arm, "I..." she looked into his eyes, "I...really think I love you..."

A little surprised at what she said, Beast Boy was dumbstruck for a few seconds. Then he composed himself a bit.
He decided to tackle this one bit at a time, "Well, I don't want you to leave either."

Smiling up at him for a moment, she then rested her head on him and as she held onto his arm, stroked it lightly with her fingers. She had him and that was all she really needed. She finally felt wanted, "What would the others say?" she asked almost monotonously, not looking at him.

She smiled and looked at him, almost lying to herself that anything this good would last forever-especially for her, "I'll never leave again" she looked down at the rocks below them and her eyes glowed yellow. One rock, large enough to accomodate the both of them broke out underneath them and carried them upwards. They sped over the water, gradually getting higher and higher. It turned so they were looking at the tower from quite a distance, "Beautiful, isn't it?" she said quietly, staring up at the moonlit sky, pale streams of light reflected in her water blue eyes and made them sparkle.

He turned back to her, "But if you ask me, its all better because you are here with me."
