Just an idea. What if we sort of tied our little YJUTTverse in with the DC one...partially anyway. A year after all are current storylines and/or some major tragedy, we see what has changed about our characters and slowly reveal what alls happened little by little.

I know it's all a little vague, but it literally just popped into my head ten seconds ago and I thought "Hmmmm. I'm goig o post it and see what everyon else thinks!' It would most likely be an elseworlds, unless we decide to make it tie in with everthing else. Right now our characters are about sixteen/seventeen/eighteen, right? So ost of them would have either been out of highschool by then (if they attend it), so it might be interesting. We'll need an uber cool villian though to hold the story together plot wise....though it could just be awesome randomnosity like our stories used to be...

Actually, I believe Sirdar said that his story would be OYL so we could definitely make that idea work. Kinda merge the two ideas or something.

ok, after reading the most recent TT, well actually its just a picture from it that made me think this. You know you had all those planets, well what if we make year one just be affected by this whole infinate crisis stuff? we could have a situation going on with them, and then the crisis would just change stuff, like the planets becoming one, realities merging you know.
So that way anything thats been happening in the comics that we felt we've diverted too far away with the character to become it could just happen. Plus it would be a chance to show our charaters grown up a year.

Well however this goes i'm in. And that could be an interesting idea. That way we can retcon in or out differences between the comics and this rpg

Basically.
There will be a point in the story where realities realign, allowing you to take stuff from the comics and change your history a bit.

That sounds like a cool idea to me. lol It'd be awesome because since Super's not from this dimension to begin with he'd be unneffected and just be all "What the fudge is going on with everyone?" And while I kinda dislike them retconning the comics, for the RPG I think it'd be a cool idea.

lol In short after IC I'm assuming that the world's are going to merge again but things will be different for some people. That's pretty much what we'd do, we'd fast forward one year later and make any chances to our character that we want to, such as making them more like the comic book version or things like that.

It all sounds cool too me...and I haven't been able to get my comics in a while so i'm hidiously behind in all the major storylines.

Aaaanyway...since I see they brought back the 'Earth 2' concept and such....which Earth would this RPG be? Do we get our own number like 'Earth 3' or are we way down the list?

Hey, guys. Yes, Marx is completely correct. The ideas I've been toying around with ARE OYL. In fact, if we did my story first (which would be sort-of an introduction to the OYL situation around here), it would be pretty cool actually. The villian I was talking about with Marx in PMs, is definately a helluva baddie and may be just what you were looking for.

I apologize in advance, for not responding sooner... I work on-call a lot, and this week has been a killer of overtime. Normally... not so much a problem, I can always use the money. When it's GORGEOUS outside though, being stuck at work can totally suck. Especially with the work computers fudged up over the 'net. SUPPOSED to be fixed eventually... but that's life. It's meant to give out curve-balls.

Anyway. I heard from a reliable source that the latest issue of Infinite Crisis has been pushed back about a week or so.

Me and Lani were talking as well about the RPG OYL thing as well and we thought it'd be a cool idea to I guess had individual side or solo stories explaining exactly what happened in the one year.

Honestly I'm game with either doing the White Sun story first or Sirdar's story first or doing them at the same time. Either way's fine for me, It's up to everyone else. I suppose I'll stay involved with all of the above. But I'll probably disappear or won't be able to post from time to time when school starts up. So don't get too dependent on me. :P

I'll get dependant on who I want, when I want....now if you'll excuse me I need to go to South America for reasons not relating to dependancy on various chemical substances....

And i'm flighty, thus with being the Butterfly and all. So i'm more than likely going to start a story with Cassie, flake on it, have Mark bug me about it for a while then let him finish it...then tell him i'd have done it eventually.

Or i could actually be all old school and start it AND finish it myself!!

Yeah, i've got that problem with my solo threads. I still need to finish 'drugs guns and fists'....and i'm actually planning on it...eventually...

lol I'm voting on me having to finish it and you telling me you'd have done it, but I could be wrong. Oddly enough I think I finish most of my solos, not saying it doesn't take me for friggin ever to do it though. (Case and point "Without Greta")

Okay guys, I can probably start the story within the next day or so but I kinda need to know whether we're doing Sirdar's story or doing both at the same time and just staging Sirdar's first. Though if they're both going to be OYL then the changes made by the realities merging again will have already happened. I already have an idea of what I'll be doing with both Harm and Super(who might or might not be involved in the story for reasons that will be explained in his OYL story). Though if Super isn't involved I'll have Wraith in his place. But the point! Let me know what you guys want to do lol.

i'm wayy behind on my comics as well so i'm not too sure whats really going on in the dc uni. but thanxs to mark and his spoiler's i sort of feel confident that maybe i can pull something off and if all else fales...my char. is an orignal so i luck out so hahahaha to you jake for sooo wanting me to be lost and ummm yea i'm good for any story, yust point the way

lol Cool cool, guess it's a judgement call then. I suppose I'll do both at the same time since we tend to have kinda short attention spans with stories. At least if people start randomly disappearing through the story we'll hopefully be halfway through both as opposed to halfway through one. lol Haven't heard from Sirdar lately, though most likely he's being swamped with overtime (which I can totally relate to after my last quarter in class >.<), I'll start the White Sun story today most likely, and I'm pretty sure he'll start the other one relatively soon as well. And since we never decided which story we'd do for Teen Titans and Outsiders I guess the White Sun one will be a joint story.

No clue how they'd get on the planet or how the Titans/YJ would meet up with the Outsiders but hey, that's part of the fun. :D

Well it seems like there isn't actually going to be a big event, per se, just a bunch of little ones. Kind of like while IC is going on the RPG reality was never separated yet so they're just minding they're own business and whoosh! Everything's different, and very few people know what happened(RPG wise I think the only ones who do are Supersonic and High Velocity since Falcon merged with the Rachel of the RPG reality...though I guess there's a 50% chance she might...guess that's up to Rach lol).

So we're pretty much skipping IC and going straight to the individual and main OYL stories, though truth be told Supersonic's OYL is more of a 52...but hey OYL just sounds cooler than 52 >.>

Big deal. 'Fist full of Fists' is explaining what happened to Shinobi since MY dissapearence AND during the missing year. I win.
