lol That's cool, well, not cool per se but it's understandable. Hope everything gets fixed.

Yup, it was fixed. Turns out the cable company switched us off by mistake. Lousy company...

Yeah, they screwed up, and since my dad needed the internet...I guess for taxes or bills or whatnot...he complained, they wouldn't have been in till the next day, so dad just gets out a ladder and reconnects the cable himself.
It's good to have an electrition in your family :D

This topic is called "Curses foiled again!" ......do you mean, like, aluminum foil? :: grin ::
atlantis - January 20, 2007 10:11 AM (GMT)
....Tin foil!!
Americans say aluminum all weird...
Shinobi - January 21, 2007 05:13 PM (GMT)
It's all perspective. Your English say EVERYTHING weird to us. It's all about dialect. And Americans just happen to live in a country big enough for MULTIPLE dialects...
Then again, China doesn't just have multiple dialects, but multiple versions of their language. :ouchy:
Mandarin Chinese
Cantonese
Pinyin
Who knows what other kinds are out there...

Hehehe, there were two english girls in my study abroad group. And the American pronunciation for 'aluminum' as one of Esther's pet peeves. So I got to find out how the English say it. It's like 'al-uh-men-ee-um' instead of 'uh-lou-men-um', right?
