I chose star wars simply because of all the disks I'd get...and the 'how to sell your soul'.
More bang for my buck...that...and Star Wars became my current fad when I found some EU stuff at my library...
Be thankful my return ment the return of Shinobi and not some thinly disguised amalgamation of Han Solo, Boba Fett, and Darth Vader.

I voted Star Wars as well. One, I love the Matrix, and because of that I already have all 3 movies therefore I couldn't justify buying them again for the special features. Same for XMen since I have X2 already and Xmen 1 is pretty cheap. I have no desire to get the LOTR because though they may be awesome, they're too long for me to watch multiple times (a prerequisite for me to get any DVD), and I have no Star Wars movies but totally want them.
I have no clue how much it'd cost, but if it was over the $50-$60 mark I'd just buy them individually even if I ended up spending more in the long run. I'm weird like that.
Hm, and if I was forced to vote for other it'd probably be Harry Potter, another thing where I don't have any of the movies but want them.

Star Wars.
For one, I've heard the rest of the Matrix all sucked to atleast an extent, though I never personally saw any of them, LOTR's not finished plus I can say from experience that it sucked from the beginning, X-Men's pro'lly pretty good, but Star Wars is freaking STAR WARS.
So there.

lol I totally agree with most of that. But I'll admit that the other two Matrixes didn't have the weirdness of the first, they kinda went more for the fight scenes than the freakyness, but I still enjoyed them. Personally I think most of the people who say they suck had their expectations too high lol most of the ones at my school will even admit it.
