Code Name: Teen Lantern (Still tries to get people to call him Green Lantern sometimes)

Real Name: Jay Andrews

Age: 17

Appearance: Blonde hair, brown eyes, stands about six feet high of average build and weight. His costume consitsts of a green jacket with the Lantern battery Emblam drawn over the chest, generally this is left unzipped, he usually wears a black shirt under it. His pants are, likewise, green, but he wears a pair of black tennis shoes as well. His mask is actually a strip of cloth tied around his face. Obviously it's...green.

Abilities: Genius Level intellect (c'mon, he made his own GL ring!)
A self made GL power ring, using a combination of B-13 technology, and a shard from a supposedly 'mystical' artifact, as well as a miniature solar battery.

Through the ring he is capable of several odd abilities not possessed by other Green Lanterns

1. Claravoiyance, occasionally he has visions of the future, generally bad things, but has been known to see good and 'neutral' events as well.

2. Some of his constructs can exist independent of his ring for limited times.

Weaknesses: He possesses a symbiotic relationship with his power ring, if they are seperated he begins going through symptons resembling a drug addict in withdrawel, including shaking, shivering, losing focus, and slowly grows weaker and sicker. More then likely being away from his ring too long WILL kill him.

The ring has a shorter life span then typical GL rings, lasting only 12 hours between charges.

He is in fact only human

History: Jay's father was a top Lexcorp scientist, in this faculty Jay himself was often exposed to scientific ideas and principles, and could often be found trying to relate these ideas to the world around him. Over time he grew fascinated with the technological marvels brought about by various alien races on the Earth, more specifically: The Green Lantern's power ring. He became near obsessive over this and slowly created plans to build his own. Using various means, he gained a few remnants of Brainiacs B-13 technology, and from a museum he chipped a shard from a supposedly enchanted artifact. When these didn't work alone, or together, he decided he needed a power source to 'activate' them, and thus constructed a small solar battery.

Finally, with that catylest it worked. However, soon after he ended up moving too Edge City, not exactly a bustling Metropolise, or crime ridden Gotham, but it worked. He began his career in relative obscurity, often annoyed with the media dubbing him 'Teen Lantern'. But he worked with it, breifly joining the Teen Titan's as Robin even set up a meeting between him and a few older GL's, hoping to find a mentor for the boy.

It seems that he actually fought against the Spectre at some point in the events of Day of Vengence, the fight shattered his confidence in himself due to how easily Spectre was beating him, and without his confidence in himself the ring was nearly useless too him. He has only recently regained his self confidence enough to return to his position as a hero.

Other information:
His ring is powered by both magic and science, so he may prove useful against Kryptonian enemies.

He hates few things more then being called a 'poor man's Green Lantern'

His password to let the ring begin it's recharge stage (which actually only takes about thirty seconds) is oddly similer to a Green Lantern recharge oath. It is as follows
