Title: Favorite music video.
Description: That's right.

Shinobi - August 26, 2006 06:02 AM (GMT)
Well, i'm elated at finding my FAVORITE versions of one of my favorite songs.

A music video on Newgrounds for 'Particle Man'. It's my favorite version of it. I started this thread more as a way to store the link so I don't have to look through NG OVER AND OVER again.

sooooooo here it is.

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/210440

And found on Youtube...the old Tiny Toons version of the music video!

Now if only I can find Istanbul (not constantinople)

*Edit*
YES! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I found it!

Marx - October 20, 2006 04:04 PM (GMT)
Aww, not a Blink fan? That's cool though. I haven't seen the video for black parade but I have heard the song which is pretty cool. And "Helena"s one of my faves because of it's awesomely creepy...if that's the one with the creepy girl getting out of the casket and dancing around...total fan of those kinds of videos.

ravanna4 - October 20, 2006 05:40 PM (GMT)
yeah.
And i am so not a James Blunt fan either.

atlantis - October 20, 2006 05:54 PM (GMT)
*Shrugs* James Blunt isn't for everyone, He's not as big over in the states as he is here in the UK.

And I like My Chemical Romance, Especially the video to "I'm not OK" but Jello had already mentioned that.

I SO LOOOOVE...because i just found it again on youtube... Brand New's "The quiet things that no one ever knows" The link to the song!

Crissangel - October 20, 2006 06:00 PM (GMT)

I like AFI's 'Miss murder' like my sis.

All of those Videos are cool.

atlantis - October 20, 2006 06:02 PM (GMT)
HIM are so bad it makes me cry and although i like Welcome to the Black Parade the video is meh.

Crissangel - October 20, 2006 06:06 PM (GMT)
*shrugs* your opinions, your opinions.
That's the only song/video I like of HIM.
My sis and I are both crazy over MCR.

Fledgling - June 20, 2007 03:38 PM (GMT)
Not sure if I'd consider these my favorites, but the Dresden Doll's music videos always make me laugh. They're so creative and bizare...

mad-libbs - June 20, 2007 11:50 PM (GMT)

Fell in love with a girl

and because weird al is just soo good!!

white and nerdy haha donny osmond is such a nerd. and i want that sweater!!

Marx - June 21, 2007 03:01 AM (GMT)
Weird Al songs! Awesomeness! And that's actually the first time I've seen Dresden Doll videos, they're totally trippy. :)

As for me hm, I'm not sure of my favorites but these are the ones that come to mind.

"The Crossroads" Bone Thugs and Harmony
This is just a classic one that I've always liked
[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lyQrP5DDXvo"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lyQrP5DDXvo" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]

"Tribute" Tenacious D
Just really liked this video, awesomely goofy.
[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/R70V1Yz-dZ4"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/R70V1Yz-dZ4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]

And some ones I really like, more for the videos than the songs.

The Pharcyde "Drop"
They had to learn to sing the song backwards for this to work, just thought it was really cool.
[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/co3qMdkucM0"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/co3qMdkucM0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]

Aphex Twin "Come to Daddy"
This one I like because it's...creepy. And warning to anyone who watches it. This video's frickin creepy, like...the creepiest music video I think I've ever seen...insanely flippin freakin creepy. Like I've seen scary movies that aren't this creepy...like the guy that comes out of the tv...just...creepy! lol
[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5Az_7U0-cK0"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5Az_7U0-cK0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]

atlantis - June 21, 2007 07:57 PM (GMT)
I tried to make up the list in the order i heard them through my life, might reflect any changes in music love...

Blink 182 - Whats my age again?
My absolute favorite song of ever because when i was 15 this was the song of my last free jobless summer, my friends and i spent almost every day together, the nights too, and this song was played on everyone of those days
...i love this song so much.

The Offspring - Want you bad
CLASSIC!! Listen to every Offspring song you can, they were so good in concert. Simple yet sensational.

Muse - New Born
Muse are amazing, voted the best live act because they are that good. Go to youtube and put in muse, listen and be educated...then thank me. One of my faves, this was the first of their songs i heard way back in like 2002 or before.

My Chemical Romance - I'm not ok [English version]
This is so great with the whole introduction. "Face it, your never going to make it" "I don't wanna make it. I just wanna ..." I felt like that a lot.

(I just saw Muse in concert at the new Wembley on June 17th, My Chemical Romance supported. Awesome.)

Billy Talent - River Below
At the begining the quote is 'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds' by Robert Oppenheimer (the guy in the video looks like him) The man who created the atomic bomb.
It gives you a lot to think about, like what your next-door neighbour is creating in his garage...

Billy Talent - Devil in a midnight mass
Off the second albumn, because everyone loves bleeding walls and creepy children... You should listen to more of their stuff, because its just that good.

Yellowcard - Believe
Note: there are 9/11 images in this. I always found this song very inspiring to me, like there is always someone willing to give up everything for you, even if you don't know them. And you might have the courage to do the same...

Natasha beddingfield - Unwritten [English version]
Mainly included this one because i always have to watch it in the hope the little book makes it safely to the top. And because the american version sucks...really really badly.

50 Cent - P.I.M.P
...How many people can see Marks influence?? but apperently i like the 'nice girly' 50 songs. lol, Pimp Legion of Doom!!
.... I have a 50 Cent Calender...DONT JUDGE ME!!

Snow Partol - Signal Fires
Love the video to this so much!! I wish my school plays were like this and i'm glad at who gets the girl :Glee Glee:

Fledgling - June 22, 2007 10:42 PM (GMT)
Marx:Heh. Yeah. You should see their music videos for 'Girl Anachronism' and 'BackStabber'(the original one). Weird O.o

LOVE the Tenacious D vid. Couldn't stop laughing.

Lani: Ohhhh. I never saw the UK version of Unwritten. I like that version MUCH better than the one we have over here. It suits the song much better.

And the Snow Patrol video is so adorable!!! ^_^
-----------------
Thought about which five music videos I really love(At this moment. I'm Fickle)

1. My Chemical Romance's "I'm Not Ok." I'm with you, Lani. I love this one. ^_^ Since It's already been linked though, I'll post "Helena" which is also awesome.

[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cix_xd2zpgw"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cix_xd2zpgw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml] The dead ballerina is the best part, imo. Pretty in a creepy kinda way.

2. Ben Fold's "Learn To Live With What You Are." Poor Pirate Ben. Nobody understands him. :_(

[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XBT2wzpPI2k"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XBT2wzpPI2k" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml] This song is very beautiful and his vid makes me laugh.

3. Dresden Dolls "Sing"(The Alternate Cut. It really evokes the message of the song better than the orig. does)

[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pl3P8xCOUeY"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/pl3P8xCOUeY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]

4. Regina Spektor "Fidelity". I actually like her older stuff much more than her newer songs because they're a bit more off the wall. But her new stuff is pretty too. I love the visuals for this vid.

[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SGTDRztaCCw"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SGTDRztaCCw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]

5. The Killers "If You Read My Mind". The Japanese Elvis alone had me sold on this one. I also love P!ATD's vid for "I write sins" and Fallout boy's "This ain't a scene." So I had a hard time choosing. >.<

[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Ch3hppFG3UQ"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Ch3hppFG3UQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]

mad-libbs - June 23, 2007 02:21 AM (GMT)
Wow, atlantis, the vid by snow patrol was absolutely adorable!!!! Hell yeah I wish my school plays were that good!

this is my favorite MCR song. It just hits home with me so much.

TEENAGERS

and this song by green day is just so good.

WORKING CLASS HEROES

and because I love the message of this vid and John Mellencamp I present this

WALK TALL

And I've tried embeding the things but they didn't work. Whats the trick?

Marx - June 23, 2007 06:34 AM (GMT)
Totally liked just about all those videos, especially the Snow Patrol one(totally wish I had a school play like that as well). I was actually just going to post about 2 or 3 more...and that kinda turned into like...5, which isn't too bad I guess. And it definitely shows how all over the place my musical taste is lol. And you imbed the videos by using a [ dohtml] tag.

"How Can I live" Ill Nino
[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/tJ15nrPtqvs"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/tJ15nrPtqvs" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]
I totally like this song, had Harm sing it once in fact. Just saw the video today, you can't beat being Freddy Kruger in a first person view lol.

"Bring it" Cobra Starship
[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/A1wMyKQ6jUg"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/A1wMyKQ6jUg" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]
Was sold on this one since I saw Snakes on a Plane (loved the movie btw). Thought the video was hilarious.

"One Mic" Nas
[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RZf7-RJFw_w"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RZf7-RJFw_w" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]
This is an old one, old being relative of course, that I've always liked. I tend to like songs more for the music than the lyrics but I totally like both in this song.

"All about the Pentiums" Weird Al
[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2vaNeaWQoHI"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2vaNeaWQoHI" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]
Gotta have another funny one in here or it wouldn't be me. Actually had a hard time deciding on whether to do this one or "Amish Paradise" but this one makes me think of Oracle lol. Though the idea of Babs having this for background music makes me laugh.

"What you waiting for" Gwen Stefani
[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/uTfbCOPApsQ"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/uTfbCOPApsQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]
Considering I like japanese girls, love Alice and Wonderland, and trippy videos, this one killed three birds with one stone.

That should have been it...but I figured I'd also share the song that's been stuck in my head for the past hour or so. Though I do love the video for it as well.
"Cupid's Chokehold" Gym Class Heroes
[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/eiiU-Fky18s"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/eiiU-Fky18s" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]
I wonder if my Cupid dances like that. There's another version of this video with this realy creepy girl as well, but this version's better.

Fledgling - August 25, 2007 03:54 AM (GMT)
Gorilla zombies doing 'Thriller' my god, how have I not seen this music video before today? I've heard of Gorillaz before, but now I love em'. :)

"Clint Eastwood"

[dohtml]<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/YzDiFEqAoUk"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/YzDiFEqAoUk" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>[/dohtml]

atlantis - August 26, 2007 10:28 AM (GMT)
