That was a really difficult one lol. But I chose Darth Vader, I think it's the strangling thing, it's just the ultimate of badassness.

As much of a Batman fan I am....I have to admit--Darth Vader is MUCH more of a badass.
Batman has a 'no killing' policy. Darth Vader just force chokes someone on a whim. He's destroyed entire planets. And plus--theres the voice. He could just say: "this is cnn" and it'd be badass.

I agree that the original darth vader was about as badass as you can get. But when i voted, I was thinking of the new trilogy version. And he's kinda sad and whiney and self-pitying....a brat really. Batman has pretty much always been badass.

Darth Vader's definitely awesome, but Batman's better and anyone who disagrees with this is obviously being mind-controlled by the dark side. -_^
*Pulls out light saber* And I'm not afraid to go jedi on yo ass.

...Batman...Always badass??
60's TV showw anyone?...old chum...
Jakazul - November 16, 2006 08:59 PM (GMT)
You mean that show from the 70s that actually aired in 1966? The 60s show? You can't even get the decade, you certainly have no room to talk.
Jakazul - November 16, 2006 08:59 PM (GMT)
And what's more, regardless of the show, Adam West is awesome.
Marx - November 16, 2006 08:59 PM (GMT)
Oooo it's becoming an even split. And yeah, it is true that I did have to thinking about the whiny Darth Vader in the new 3 movies but I have the option of disowning them if I wish. ;)
Note: Jake used a lightsaber and not a batarang. You know why? Vader coolness. :P
Jakazul - November 16, 2006 09:02 PM (GMT)
Jake used a lightsaber because Jake fights fire with fire. Besides, you could totally use the force on a batarang and send it back at me. Batman would realize that ahead of time and use a different weapon.
Marx - November 16, 2006 09:03 PM (GMT)
...but...what weapon couldn't the force be used on?
atlantis - November 16, 2006 09:04 PM (GMT)
...Batman would have an anti-force batarang
Jakazul - November 16, 2006 09:06 PM (GMT)
Batman is anti-force. You try to choke him with your mind and he'll just shrug it off and beat the crap out of you. That's how he is.
Marx - November 16, 2006 09:14 PM (GMT)
No he wouldn't. He'd get the crap beaten out of him and then come back all knowledgeable of the force and then beat the crap out of you. ;)
Jakazul - November 16, 2006 09:19 PM (GMT)
...Fine.
I got the crap beaten out of me last night and then returned all knowledgeable and... Got slightly less crap beaten out of me. (Had three sparring matches with a 7' football player. I did pretty well the second time around 'til he punched me in the throat.)

I'm with Marx, I ignore episodes 1-3 all together. As far as I'm concerned, George Lucas was obviously beginning to lose his mind when he wrote those.
So you make sure to kill batman the first time before he gets the second chance to come back with an edge. :P
And ouch....Sorry to hear about your scuffle, Jake. You alright? Did you come back a third time and kick that sorry jocks ass? Its ok. You can lie to me. ;) I just like the idea of justice balancing itself as far as the preps and jocks are concerned. :P
Shinobi - January 2, 2007 01:20 AM (GMT)
I'm sorry, but I have to go with Darth Vader too. Vader doesn't make the mistake of letting his opponent live, and unless Batman has all the information he needs beforehand (and it's the cool Vader) he's going to get beaten down.
