I'm thinking.... there's an artifact that will be introduced at the end of White Sun that Sirdar will get, which will be the genesis for the future Dr. Fate. An amulet Nabu made centuries ago, made out of Nth metal. Thereby blessing/cursing Sirdar with the same ironic fate that the Hawks have: namely, reincarnation. If he dies, his soul is to be recycled and reborn in order to protect the helmet. I haven't yet decided what new identity to create yet though...
