Appearance: (in demon form) Body: Around 6 feet. Has a lean build without much muscle. His arms and legs seem a bit longer than average.
Long, silver hair that covers his right eye.
Red irises with a spiral pattern instead of normal pupils and black 'whites'.
Has triangular markings under his eye.

(in human form) About the same just with black hair and blue eyes.

His costume consists of a deep purple, sleeveless tunic worn over a black shirt with long, tattered sleeves. Black pants with tattered legs. Wears golden-colored metal gauntlets, belt and armored boots. Has a high-collared, deep red cloak.

Abilities: Various magic spells ranging from fireballs and energy bolts to curses.
Carries a scythe, which he uses mainly to channel his powers and is rarely used for slashing.
Has the ability to fly, but not at high speeds.
He can assume a more human form when not in action.


Weaknesses: Below average (for a superhero, at any rate) hand- to- hand fighting skills and stamina. Still learning to control powers. More powerful spells cause him to tire quickly. Needs his scythe to cast spells or he'd have to really concentrate (which can be a problem in the middle of a battle). Prone to depression over the fact that he has trouble fitting in with humans.

History: There has always been one constant in Dimirti's life, isolation. It was almost a friend, if you can consider something you hate a friend. He never knew who his parents were, where he came from or even what he was. He wasn't human, that much was made painfully clear to him at a young age. Everywhere he wound up, people recoiled with fear and hate. They branded him with the name 'Demon boy'. The only person who even came close to family was a kind, albeit odd old woman who raised him as long as he can remember. She was an old witch and hero in her younger days, under the codename 'Nightshadow'. She sensed magical abilities in Dimitri and trained him in the ways of magic. She passed her runic scythe to him, in order to help him with his control. However, the old lady passed on, as people do, and he was alone once again. Since people seemed to trust superheroes, Dimitri decided to take his scythe, the codename Nightshadow and use his abilities to help people and try to prove to everyone he's not a "Demon boy'.

Other information: Because of his appearance, others sometimes confuse him for a vampire, a fact that annoys him to no end.
Others tend to distrust him and think he is evil, which also tends to depress him.
