*makes grabbing motions* I want! I want! Even though they won't have Superboy in it...but they'll have Doomsday in all of his Doomsday-ey goodness! Also heard they're doing an animated version of the Judas Contract too. I do hope they don't try to do that in the Teen Titans cartoon style.

Yay! They finally get to animate his death!!!!! Sorry. I just get some kind of warm fuzzy over that fact.

I know! I've always wanted to see the fight between Doomsday and Superman animated. I'm curious if they're going to have Doomsday spanking the JLA first or just go straight into him fighting Superman...I'm thinking the latter since it looks like they're doing his return in the same movie.

I saw it! Oh I saw it! And it was cool for the most part. Not sure why it was called Superman/Doomsday though. Doomsday was only in like a third of the movie if that much, probably should have gone with "The Death of Superman". Thought it was interesting that there were random ties into Smallville as well (i.e. Lois calling Clark "Smallville"). And James Marsters did the voice of Lex, which was pretty cool I think.

Well I guess since Michael Rosenbaum plays the Flash in the DCAU, it would sound kind of awkward, but he does a pretty good Lex in Smallville. Must have been kind of funny to hear James with out his cockney accent. I though it was when he was on Smallville for awhile. I know James isn't a brit, but after oh so many years of hearing him speak one way it gets weird to hear him speak anyway else.

All I can say is I have the movie, I've watched the movie, and I enjoyed it immensely.

Then all I have further to say is, I hate you both. I want but I can't have.

*whistles innocently since I didn't actually pay for it, I saw it on a site*

*looks at marx* You WILL give me the link, won't you?
::::::::EDIT::::::::::
You know, after I posted that *points to above* I hit myself cuz duh, tv links usually has everything. And what do you know, they did. I now commence my review of the movie.
I will admit, yes, I cried. I cried like a little b*tch when Lois went to see Martha. But, as an Animation major, the only think that irked me was character design, mainly Superman's. His face just rubbed me the wrong way. Too many hard lines for facial definition. Lois's little chin dimple bugged me a little but not too much. Luthor's face seemed rather gaunt with the high cheek bone lines. I guess it's just I'm used to the JLU series character design. On with the actual story. Yes, Doomsday was only in the first third of the movie, but I liked how they covered his resurrection to finish it. If it was just about him dieing then the film would feel unfinished. But good God that clone was creee~py! Now, onto my favorite part, quotes and cameos. Doooood, it was Kevin FREAKIN' Smith!! And of course he was complaining about how they didn't need him to open the giant robot spider. *eyeroll* Luthor, Perry and Lois had a few good lines, like "who's your daddy?" and "oh hell" for Luthor. I liked when Perry said, "Who cares? He's kicking Superman's ass!" simply for his reaction after he said it. And because of this movie, I have a whole new respect for Lois. That woman could do anything. I found the strategically placed glass on the clones particularly funny. As for the president declaring military action on Superman, c'mon! Think about it! Unless you have kryptonite laced bullets, you're screwed. And finally, at the very end, I give mad props to the kid.
"Are you going to go back to wearing the red and blue one again? Cuz I like this one better."
I wholeheartedly concur. T'was quite a cool outfit indeed, even if it was a solar suit.

Yeah, Luthor's 'Oh hell' moment had to be my favorite one in it.
Of course, Toyman's end was amusing too.
'I have rights! I don't have anything to say to you!'
'How about...goodbye.'

Totally agree with that review. Lois visiting Martha was totally tear worthy, and yeah, I wasn't too much of a fan for the lines on Superman's face either. I will say I give it to the writers to have Lois dating Superman and not Clark. I do believe that's the first time I've seen that and it was a bit confusing at first but I think it worked pretty well. And the clone was awesome. I'm taking it they merged Superboy's origin, Eradicator's personality, with Cyborg Superman's irrationality which worked pretty well. And it might have been my Superboy vision but I did notice that he was "kinda' in the movie if you count the teenage clones in the background lol.
