Title: Summary: The Bloody Truth

Um, this story is leading somewhere rather important overall so I figured I'd give a brief summary of what's going on for those who can't be bothered to read it lol. Basically there's been a rash of kidnappings, all preteens. Harm and Wonder Girl were searching on leads and thanks to Raven, Harm found one. One of the rooms had a piece of fabric with the symbol of an eye that is one of the 4 that signifies Trigon. The two decided to go to the Church of Blood undercover to see if they could find anymore information.

They found that and more as their cover was eventually blown but the Church believed Harm to be Brother Blood and Raven, his betrothed. When they were finally able to get alone they began to talk about the many coincidences that had been happening. Among them the feeling of euphoria whenever Harm and Raven both shadowport and soul-self teleport at the same time as well as the fact that the church's Bible and Harm's superhero/villain database(in a sense, his bible) were both named The Book of Blood. It was implied that maybe Harm was supposed to be there as was Raven and maybe Harm was supposed to be the 8th Brother Blood. Looking at the register book for all the members of the Church of Blood, Harm found a familiar one in the name of Buzz, both the man(demon) who helped bring Raven's mother into the cult as well as the one who introduced Will to demonology.

Making their own assumptions about how Harm was supposed to be the 8th Brother Blood instead of the kid, they decided it didn't really matter and to focus on the matter at hand with the kids. Getting one of the hooded figures to show them around, they discovered that they were too late and the children had already been sacrificed. Almost boiling in fury, Harm had a meeting with the entire church. After asking if any of them truly felt any regret for what they did only one teen girl spoke up and was kicked out of the church. This turned out to be a saving grace for her as Harm shadowported the entire cult into a deserted part of Death Valley. Despite his repeated warnings, Raven chose to go with him, hoping that whatever he was going to do, he'd hold back if she were there.

This seemed to be for naught as Harm summoned the Eldrich and pointed out that the Church of Blood was the exception to his "no killing humans" rule and watched as they slayed all of them. Feeling no regret except for the effect Raven's empathy gave her for so much fear and pain concentrated so close to her, Harm got rid of the bodies and went back to the Tower. After which, he realized that some of the Church of Blood ran away before he could shadowport them. For a week he hunted them down in secret until he finally killed the last one effectively dismantling the Church of Blood.
