I just had this thread as an amusing idea/thought/whatnot.

Lists of the characters being used and romantic entanglments they get involved with.

We can even discuss ideas on which characters we think would make the most interesting couples.

Myeh, since technically there's a plan in motion for Shinobi to FINALLY have a love interest, and well...Jay isn't firmly enough in place for me to have the same thoughts for him...I thought...WHY NOT!? :D

awww poor jay doesn't warrant a love interest? so sad i say. he just doesn't get a break. well here's something, i only know he's had relationships, with crazy women. care to expand on that topic, seeing as i have no idea what happened.

Hmmm, well, in another RPG I use him he's developed a habit of finding himself in really horrible relationships most of the time.

First one was with a woman who more or less NEEDED them to be fighting to feel good. She would create situations where the two were at odds, just so Jay would feel bad and end up caving to her. Essentially the relationship was emotionally abusive.

The other one, was straight out physically abusive. Heck, if he hadn't had the ring he MIGHT have died on a number of occasions. After all, the lady had Superstrength and a sadistic streak the size of Texas.

And refrences have been made to other bad relationships too.

And, to fix what I had said, It's not that Jay doesn't warrant a love interest, it's more that he isn't firmly in place enough for me to actively persue one for him as I did with Shinobi.

If an opprotunity presents itself it shall be persued but...

lol Sounds awesome. Totally going to fit Jay's unluckiness with women into DC University, which I am going to update, I am. Just haven't had the time between the storylines and the webcomic and things.

As for my romantic entanglements, my characters are pretty straightforward for the most part lol. Harm's been dating Wonder Girl for like...3 years, only recently having issues with that due to Erin. And oddly enough it was assumed when Duo first showed up that there'd be a love triangle between those two but she ended up hooking up with Super instead, almost entirely because of the random pairing in Big Switcheroonie.

And speaking of Super, he's probably the most complicated romantically involved character I have. Purely because it's hard to even tell if/who he's dating. I guess he's technically dating Duo, though I'm doing very little with it because Duo's technically Kye's character. Only had them dating because Kye was posting when it initially came up, though without Kye using her the relationship's kind of dead in the water at the mo. Was tempted to have him date Greta but that'd pretty much be the same thing wouldn't it? lol. Wraith was an option as well, though that would have been pretty twisted(as you'll find out rather soon when it's discovered who she is) Will probably have Super and Duo drift into being friends again until a possibility comes along either way.

And finally Doomsboy! Think the closest thing he's had to a relationship is whatever he and Doomsday did with Lust after they left the team during OYL lol. Not really sure who I'd hook him up with, almost anyone would be hilarious.

I say give him a girl!!!! I made my own character when I wanted to give CM3 a girl! Just make her a support character.

I feel funny saying it, but the interaction between doomsy and shockwave could be saying something. i thought they got along pretty well, though doomsboy is a horndog so i dunno where that would go. honestly though, becca has been around guys most of her life so she doesn't know how to be a girl per say.

And as for Doomsboy and Shockwave, I was actually kinda thinking that too. Don't think he'd mind a tomboy actually, could totally see them at least being friendly (though he'd probably flirt regardless). But as you said, the horndog bit of him would probably be an issue, it'd be like dating Superboy...only worse since Doomsboy doesn't actually have any morals.

Yeah if there is one thing that is universal with women, it's hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Shameless flirting won't hurt anybody though.

But, I personally think the most frightening though is Doomsboy reproducing. Consider this for a moment:

...But that'd be awesome, he'd have damn near invincible babies. He could just...kick them out the window and they'd laugh it off.

True, but how would he discipline the little monsters? How would he make sure they were afraid of him enough to listen to him?

Last thing he needs is like three mini-doomsday's knocking him down, tying him up with something and hurling him into the sun...and then claiming it was an april fool's day joke.

Well...he'd be stronger than them at first. So he'd be all intimidating until they realize that they can evolve beyond him...at that point it'd just be an infinite battle until they got bored lol.

Heh. The only question is how much of the world would be destroyed before they all got bored...

and that isn't even factoring in who the MOTHER would be! That factors in a whole slew of additional powers!

If Doomsboy ever opens a conversation with 'i'm gonna be a father' I don't think my characters would have any shame in hiding...

lol Nor would mine. Well Harm might just go "Incredible Hulk" on them and shoot them into space. And hm.. the mother would be...Miss Martian!

Well, I imagine Doomsboy Jr. would get aqcainted with female anatomy at a veeeeeeery early age...

For instance, Jay and Ravager. Just because Jay is used to crazy and somewhat abusive women in his life, and Ravager...well...she is kinda crazy...not sure about the abusive part though lol.

Part One:

I know I technically already did one, but I'll try for it again. Well assuming they aren't related as they are in the RPG, because that'd be creepy as well as if there was less of an age difference, but I'd say. Darkseid and Secret.

Part Two:

I'd say, Supersonic and...Starfire. If nothing for Super's mental 'Thank you God, how did I ever get so lucky.' anime style crying. And of course Starfire beating the Hell out of him when he'd overstep his boundries. Wonder Woman or Hawkgirl would probably work equally well.

ravager has kid devil though!!!! It's easy to make you r own person, remmeber she dosn't have to be a meta or a mutant!!!!

And Wonder Girl had Superboy. ;) Things can always change. lol And you know...now that you just mentioned it...I don't think there's a single person in YJUTT whose dating a civilian.

Ha! okay so i wasn't the only one entertaining the idea about Jay and Ravager. Though I just thought it was funny. Yeah, she is crazy, though I don't think abusive. We haven't had a look into that part of her life in the comics yet. As for how she treats Eddie in ADAC, I imagine they are rather normal, and by that point I am asuming that Eddie is human though how that happened is another story.

as for freaky children, Lobo and (dare I say it) Blackfire or Circe. haha what a pair. oh the kids would be soo f'ed up, and knowing Lobo he would try to go for both women.

...Lobo having children frightens me in a way I thought only Doomsboy having children could.

Although on the bright side if they have the blood cloning thing they'll always have someone to play with.

Well technically Shockwave was/is if you are going by WYF? standards. Though she is a civilian in the thing too but who's counting.
and don't worry about Ravager, kidflash3. It is funny to think about the possibilities with her, but remember, ADAC and Enforcers are set in the future, hell could even be a parallel universe. That is the fun with forums, you can make your own stories.

lol And could you imagine if Doomsboy's child and Lobo's child grew up and had a child together? I think that'd be the start of the end of the universe.
