Title: Summary: Farewell

Marx - November 4, 2007 09:29 PM (GMT)
Drama seems to be afoot all through Titans Tower as Shazam recently broke up with Spirit, only to have Harm and Wonder Girl having just as many if not more issues. This does seem to be a slight problem as Harm calls both the Titans and YJ for a meeting. It turns out that the DEO made a machine that can open up a portal to the Abyss which was stolen. Considering that the Abyss had not only been used to bring people back from the dead but it was also where Bedlam's powers were stored this does pose a bit of a problem, partially shown by Greta feeling a bit under the weather.

Despite their issues, a plan was made splitting the two teams and having Harm lead the first one tracking the device's GPS. Upon arrival they were attacked unprovoked by DEO agents who seemed to literally be scared witless and the object of their fright turned out to be a dragon who is able to almost shrug off both Shazam and Harm's attacks causing Harm to call for the other team for backup.

Even after the team arrives the dragon turns out to be a more than formidable opponent. Seeing that the main function of the dragon seemed to be stopping anyone from entering the door behind it, Harm decided to blow the secret of his true form and use it to buy the Titans and YJ time to get through the door. But what awaits them through that one?

And as soon as the Titans and YJ get through the door, it's shown that the room was actually a trap as it let out a signal that immediately disoriented everyone. But due to quick thinking by both Supersonic and Teen Lantern they were able to not only stop the signal but smother the bomb that was giving it. Making it into the next room, they saw hooded figures guarding the machine. Being rejoined with Harm the teens soon found out that it was actually the Eldrich that were behind it.

The Titans and YJ continued to fight the Eldrich, while Harm went after the one in charge, Tvarus to find out who was giving the orders. Turned out that it was in fact...Harm who'd set up the whole thing. He punctuated this fact by punching Wonder Girl across the room, and started to get Bedlam's powers.

As everyone tried to get some understanding about the sudden twist, it was Shazam who openly attacked the former leader of the Titans. Though soon it was shown that not only had Harm turned on the team, but Wonder Girl had as well, their fight apparently being staged from the beginning. Burning off some steam, Ravager and Wonder Girl began getting their issues out in the open as they finally went at each other's throats. Meanwhile, surprises kept on coming with both the return of Spirit and Teen Lantern being pushed so far to the brink that his ring literally brought out the war god in him.

The battle raged on until Rose and Spirit were able to take out the machine steadily powering Harm and Bedlam's energy began to go back. Though Harm did use the last of his energy to try and blast Jay's personality back to the surface. With the machine destroyed, there was no reason for Harm and his followers to say and in a flash of darkness(...that makes sense...) they were all gone, leaving the Teen Titans and Young Justice exhausted, demoralized and confused as they headed back to the Tower.

Once the Titans get to the Tower, they're greeted by a holographic Harm who basically says that while he's no longer with him and doing something they won't agree with, he still sees them as his friends. As a parting gift he left Rose with 2 new katanas, as everyone else began to figure out what to do now.

Meanwhile Harm recruited Shinigami, Supersonic, and Secret to his cause forming the team Twisted Justice. He also found out that Wraith, who'd been around for a little over a year now was actually his future daughter with Cassie front another dimension. Though even Wraith wasn't immune to the effects of time travel as another traveler came to her with a warning that he'd kill her if she went on with her plans before vanishing himself.

The End.
