Appearance: Jazlyn is actually quite tall even by her races standards. In earth measurements she stands at about 6' 9". Her skin is a golden color, metallic almost with orange stripes and a whip-like tail. Her eyes are a rather large and bug-like blue-green, while her hair is a deep magenta pink. She does have antennae on top of her head and refuses to wear shoes. She wears a sleeveless turtleneck mid drift and spanex like shorts that resemble Troia's uniform with a light purple vest and wrap around skirt with fingerless gloves to match. The only thing she wears on or near her feet are two bracelets on her left ankle.
Abilities: She has heightened senses (sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste) which allow her to sense changes in the atmosphere and see and hear really far. Telekinesis and Telepathy are common among her people and she is no exception. She does however possess the latent trait of psychometry (The ability or art of divining information about people or events associated with an object solely by touching or being near to it.) She can also fly using her telekinesis. Her antennae aren't just for show either, they allow her to see in pitch black, not unlike a Predator. Her skin is tougher than a human's but it can be damaged.
Weaknesses: If you can call the inability to understand the nuances of the English language a weakness then yes. Other than that, she is mortal and can be killed or catch a disease.
History: Jazlyn is from a war torn sector of space controlled by her race, the Zhodani. Her father is the equivalent of a Prime Minister who discovered a plot to assassinate his entire family. Fearing for their safety, he sent his wife, Jazlyn and her two brothers each in opposite directions. Jazlyn's ship was the last to leave and was attacked as it entered hyperspace and damaged. Forced to drop out of hyperspace to make repairs. she found out that she was followed. Her ship had dropped out of hyperspace at the far end of the solar system, alerting the JLA with a distress signal. Unwittingly, when the JLA saved Jazlyn and fought off her attackers, they aligned themselves with the Zhodani. She has been staying in the Watchtower for observation, learning the English language and training under the very watchful eye of the JLA. They don't consider her a major threat, but since they can't keep an eye on her twenty-four/seven anymore, they want to send her to Young Justice to get the feel of planet-side life.
Other information: She did not learn the English language as readily or easily as some alien visitors with a kiss, so she is still trying to comprehend all of the subtleties of it. She still doesn't use contractions (I'm, can't, won't, it's, etc.) and she tends to remind some of the older JLAers of Mr. Spock or a Vulcan in general with her emotionless, logical attitude.
