Title: The Jla Board.
Description: Seriously? Seriously!

True Believer - April 9, 2004 08:59 PM (GMT)
Okay people,

It's that Simple. I'm starting the JLA board. Everyone who's currently have only one character and feel like joining the team let me know. At first I'm only accepting Canons. I mean this is the league and all, right?! I already have a story line planned in my head, I'm just finishing working on the villains.

You don't have to worry about being involved in more than one storylines at one time, cause we won't rush things here in the JLA board. I'll give you plenty of time to write your posts, and you won't have the problem of getting to far behind on the story.

Batman as you know is already taken by our moroni-- I mean Marvelous Owner, Jake Fox. :P . Feel free to apply for any leaguer active member or reserve. Oh, PM me ur applications.

Your Humble and yet incredibly smart admin,

True Believer. Hope 2 c u around.[shadow=red,220]TEXT[/shadow]

Okay, I just started the first JLA Arc. We have like four characters already, Superman, Batman, Flash and CM3 if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully my feeble advertsing techniques will get more people interested.

Robin - April 10, 2004 03:06 AM (GMT)
Okay, I'm still not sure why CM3 is a member of the JLA considering his age (he's like what? 15? 16?) and such... Wouldn't Captian Marvel (Billy Bastion) be a better suited JLA member considering he's already a reserve member? I mean, Ray was at least 19 when he was made a member of the team. (Just screwing with ya, mini-fab  )

Anyways. Maybe Guy Gardner should be a member of the JLA. I mean, he already has previous membership, and they need a live wire on the team.

True Believer - April 10, 2004 04:02 AM (GMT)
In one thing I agree with "Mini-Fab" (dude, I loved this nickname) CM3 is a good hero. Better than Stargirl and certainly better Jakeem Thunder (he's what 9?) and they're both members of the JSA (????). CM3 is like 16 or 17. Ray was 18 when he joined the League. So there isn't much difference, dontcha agree?

And about Guy Gardner, I'd love to have Guy in the team, let's face face it: He rules, but Matt is planning to De-Age him and he'll be in the Titans.

Robin - April 11, 2004 01:37 AM (GMT)
Well the reason Stargirl (who is just as cool if not cooler than CM3) and J.J. Thunder (who I don't much like, cause he's a jerk) are on the JSA is because they are the next generation of past JSA members. Their were past JSA teammates who are dead, but passed on their mantel to someone else.

CM3 is a good hero. I admit that.

But he isn't JLA level yet. Character who are JLA level are people like Captain Marvel, Nightwing, Atom, etc...

As for Ray, he was a legal adult when he joined, unlike CM3 who is still a minor in both Freddy and CM# form.

But that is just my opinion, mind you. I just like poking fun at Mini-Fab after his comments about Robin retiring... (thought I forgot that didn't you... :P )

True Believer - April 12, 2004 08:01 PM (GMT)
C'mon people! We need more characters im the JLA. Those who only have one character feel free to PM me a bio. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE IN THE JLA!!!

Robin - April 14, 2004 01:42 AM (GMT)
Perferably some female heroes. It seems like the JLA and the Outsiders are both without the female presence. We're an equal oppurtunity Super-team.

COME ON! Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Zantanna, Faith, Huntress, Black Canary! There are so many Women heroes! COME ON!!!

True Believer - April 14, 2004 01:59 AM (GMT)
Jeeze... someone needs a date. :P J/K. You're right, Alan we do need more girls in the site.

We have to advertise the YJUTT in Yahoo groups and such to bring more people.

Robin - April 14, 2004 02:03 AM (GMT)
You're right Fab, SOMEONE does need a date. Let us know if any girl ever does take you up on that offer. It will be the first sign of the apocolypse and I'm sure we all want to be prepared for it. J/K :P

But I'm serious, we need some women on this these teams.

True Believer - April 14, 2004 02:24 AM (GMT)
I'm going to post ads in some DC Yahoo Groups right now.

Jakazul - April 14, 2004 04:29 AM (GMT)
LOL I can see that ad:
"Teen-early/mid-twenties guys looking for hot, wild girls... Oh, and we run an RPG too."

Tall:Order - April 19, 2004 05:34 PM (GMT)
I'm gonna join with my new character, Vuldar, if that's cool with you, Guys.

Zatanna - April 24, 2004 01:02 AM (GMT)
Jakazul.. I think what would get more attention is just putting, "WE'VE GOT LESBIANS!" and that'll get people. Definately hehe..
As for women heroes, there are several I love, but I'm to my limit of 2 at the moment and I knew taking on Canary would mean that there might have to be a JSA (which causes problems). But anyhow.. if we ever allow more than 2, I'll definately take on Indigo of the Outsiders.

Robin - April 24, 2004 02:07 AM (GMT)
Gee... I think Zatanna is hinting at something gang... lol

But seriously, we've gotta stay with the two character limit. Problem we had at the old site was players taking on 5 or 6 characters and either never playing them or were never online.

So we ended up with all these big name Titan characters like Starfire, and Raven stuck in limbo.

Not to mention all the problem we had with figuring out who was playing who and all that stuff. All the character that people wanted to play were taken, but never used or players didn't have time to worry about them.

Sorry, but two characters is all we can allow per player.

And sure the 'WE'VE GOT LESBIANS' would grab people's attention... but then we'd be giving false advertisement and people would be mad.

Not to mention we'd be attracting all the cyber-perverts on the web (they've got a sixth sense when it comes to that). And like we keep saying, we're INSANE. Not pervs.

Sano - April 24, 2004 02:43 AM (GMT)
Well it wouldn't be false advertisement if some of the ladies on the site started dating. Could be an interesting side story. B)

*ducks incoming objects thrown by the ladies*

Robin - April 24, 2004 05:38 PM (GMT)
Um... yeah... (Shoots Sano with Tranq darts again) There we go. All right Ladies... Continue the pelting of objects. :D

Sano - April 24, 2004 07:09 PM (GMT)
Owwww, I, uh oh, this is gonna hurt...............

Marx - April 24, 2004 07:36 PM (GMT)
Nah, you got shot with tranqs, you'll sleep through the whole thing. Might be a bit sore when you wake up though. B)

atlantis - April 24, 2004 08:18 PM (GMT)
*Throws things at a tranqed up Sano*
Don't start the gender dating thing up again, please!!
* Laughs like Harley Quinn while throwing larger things*

Sano - April 24, 2004 11:02 PM (GMT)
*a little groggy and very sore*

So sorry, I did not know about any previous gender dating arguements, I am ignorant, please forgive me.

Marx - April 24, 2004 11:07 PM (GMT)
Oh believe me, you are not sorry that you missed the last gender dating argument lol. :D I was there, I saw the talking men's cruelty! And I sweared it would never again come to the Wild Lands! :P Gold Star to whoever knows where that last part came from.

Robin - April 24, 2004 11:09 PM (GMT)
Okay... now marx needs the tranq... (loads gun and aims)

Dang, I need to by stock in tranquilzers. lol

And by the way... Lord of the Rings?

Marx - April 24, 2004 11:13 PM (GMT)
Tranqs never work on me, built up an immunity. :D

And IIIIIIIIINT! WRONG!

Sano - April 24, 2004 11:14 PM (GMT)
Man, between that, the cyber pervs and all the other stuff I missed it seems like I came in just at the right time. I am either that damn good, or just very lucky. :D
