Since we have been testing this system for over a week and a half, without complaint it appears that it works. HURRAY!
Due to past problems in the past it was decided that the YJUTT RPG needed a bit more structure. And thus we came up with Posting Rules. All players MUST follow these guidelines so that all may have a fair oppurtunity at posting. Please read them carefully and completely!!!
If you do not understand something about these rules do not be afraid to ask a member of Adminstration!
(1.) Stories that have 5 or more players involved, each player is allowed ONE post per day in that story. That is all.
Stories that have between 3 or 4 players involved may post TWO posts per day in that story. That is All.
Stories that have a max of only 2 players may post as much as desired.
(2.) Before one is allowed to post again the following day in a story with 5 or more players, there must be THREE different players who have already posted before hand. With a story that has between 3 and 4 players involved, there must be TWO different players who have already posted before hand. And that must be actual RPG posts. Not OOC.
(3.) Summaries must be updated constantly (Perferable every night), explaining what has happened. That way people understand what is happening, even if nothing has really happened.
(4.) READ THE PREVIOUS POSTS COMPLETELY!! We can't stress this enough! Make certain you understand completely what had been already written and follow that. Do not try to alter other people's posts! If another player has established something, then go along with it. Don't change it.
(5.) All posts MUST be written properly. In other words, you must use proper grammar and structure. Mis-spelled words are expected, but We need to understand what you are writting.
(6.) NO AUTOING OTHER PEOPLE'S CHARACTERS. You are to control your character(s) and only your character(s). In other words, do NOT take control of the emotions, mind and actions of another person's character. PERIOD.
NPC characters may be used but only in a minor capacity. NPC Villains can only be controlled by the Gamemaster of the story. If one ever uses another player's character they must have expressed permission.
(7.) If a majority (meaning 3/4) of the players involve in the story are online there can possibly be more posts if so desired and it has been agreed upon. But after one or two pages of posting, the story must be put on hold.
An adminstator or RPG moderator MUST be online in order to make certain everything is controlled and that players do not go overboard.
(8.) When doing multiple posts, players must follow a posting order.
(9.) The very MOMENT someone say to put the game on hold and wait for other players, you are to STOP. PERIOD. NO ARGUEMENTS. No if's, and's or but's.
Rules #6, #7 & #8, will not go into affect until further notice.
We request that all players follow these rules.
If a player fails to follow these rules and posts improperly they will recieve warnings. After two warnings they will be temporarily banned for one week. If a player should continue to post improperly they will then be banned permenantly.
We do not wish to be harsh, but we want this site to be fair and equal to ALL players. If you can't follow these rules then you must pay the consequences.
