I just thought of a new super hero. It is a female her name is cheshire and her abilities is she can make things new'. She can't bring people back to life but objects can be restored and if your wounded she can heal. Her hands emite the power. As she touchs something It and her hands glow dark purple. She wears a Dark red cape and Dark red dress that matches. With a siver belt and necklace.

So just give me your thoughts on her and any neat things that could be added or brought to a story. Tips are appreciated. :ph43r:

It sounds like an intersting idea, but there is already a character called Cheshire, ZZflash.

Cheshire is an assasin who primary weapons is chemical warfare and poisons. She at one point became involved with the Titan's's Arsenal (then known as Speedy) and they had a child together. Lain Harper




Cheshire is a major villan in the DCU. Currenly Cheshire is helping Black Canary, Huntress, Lady Shiva and Catwoman rescue Oracle. She is also supposed to play a part in 'IDENTITY CRISIS' and in an upcoming issue of Outsiders.

So, you might want to think up a new name.

Woah! Jumping the gun aren't we? She doesn't even have a name right now. A bit early to be considering a team to join.

well i sort of figure out the name by what team there on. Like i wrote a story and i had no name for the main character i left out blanks where the name would be. So i read her history in the story and found out the character was an expert archer and was sort of mysterious so i named the character Grissum. Its just a thing that helps me. If i know everything about the person first i'm able to figure out a name or alias that suits them. i'm a little weird aren't i. well forget it then i'm pretty sure i have an idea now. :P

I think the power's pretty cool and original. Since she'd probably be a newbie YJ would be the best choice for a team and Alan's right. A name would be kinda important, does she have any offensive skills though?

Hmmm, Lydia seems to stand out to me. Vain would be cool but I'm not sure it'd work if she wasn't...well...vain lol. But yeah, not Howard...unless she's really going to be weird.... :P

Naw... When I hear the name Howard I think about Ducks or Hotels. LOL.

Anyways, I can't really offer much in opinions, until I recieve you completed character application, ZZflash. I'd need to see you completed idea before I could make any real opinions.

But I'm with Marx. Your power are kind of vague. For example, you say that she can restore objects. That's a very vague thing. What limitiations do they have? Electronic? What?

And are those her only powers? What would she do in relation to offense? Does she have any sort of training?

But keep in mind, she does not need to have more powers or fight training. She can simply have her repairitive powers. Since she is a newbie, she can learn from other people over the course of the RPG.

Well, for a name you could always go with something descriptive of her powers, such as the following:

Restore
Renew
Reborn
Rebirth
Morpho (almost a name for Kinetix of the Legion, who has similiar powers in some respects)
Like New Lass (OK, that one was a joke)
Remedy (sorry about all the "re")

Or you could try something with a mythological connotation:

Isis (Egyptian Goddes of Magic/Sorcery who restored her husband to life)
Khepri (Egyptian God of Rebirth)
Saturn (Roman God of Death and Rebirth)
Zagreus (A minor Greek God of Rebirth and Immortality)
Ambrosia (The divine drink that was the source of the Greek Gods' immortality)
Grail (after the Holy Grail of Christian mythology, which could restore an individual from any injury)
Eir (Norse Goddess of Healing)
Idun (Norse entity [female] who was the keeper of the apples which kept the Gods eternally young)

Or you could try something that has nothing to do with your power but sounds cool:

OK, so I can't think of any examples of this, but you get the idea.

I'm glad i joined here because all of your ideas are great ok and by restoring objects i mean like if you had a broken down car or an old wristwatch. The car would be fixed and the wristwatch would look and work brand new. And the healing offcourse restores physical damage like a broken leg or gash of some sort.

I was going for the fact that she would have to learn more abilities along the way. Sort of like terra when she couldn't contorl her powers. Just like a newbie.

I love the mythological names! and now with all this advice I'll have all of her history... powers etc done i'll let you know when i finish. Thank you all
