Part two of the tournament. I'm leaving the Superboy vs. Wonder Girl poll open for another week but this gives people who have a voting fix a chance to do some more clickin! Vote and opinionate to your heart's content! :D

Frankly, I had a tough time deciding on this.

I mean, both Kid Flash or Beast Boy could have won this fight.

Now I know many of you are saying, 'no way! Kid Flash is faster and smarter', yes, I know. But let's be honest, no matter how many books Bart needs to read, he still has a LOT to learn. He knows information, but not how to properly weild said info. He spends so much time trying to use that information he gained that he still screws up.

And despite what people think, Beast Boy is not the light weight that everyone thinks he is. He's more experienced that Bart is, and has been a Titan for over 5 years now. And there's the fact that he is more versitle than Bart is. Gar can alter his form to any living creature on the planet. He could make himself so microscopic that he could get inside Bart's body and kill him from the inside. And if need be, he would do it.

For example, in Teen Titans #8, Beast Boy defeated Gizmo by bitting him while in the form of a poisionous Blue Coral Snake. Gar was willing to kill Gimzo (though it was probably a fake-out) in order to defeat his opponent.

If Gar were to do the same thing to Bart, he would win. The reason is because of Bart's hyper-metabolism. The poision would run through Bart's body faster than it would in a normal person. Kid Flash's body doesn't have a healing factor. It can't combat poison. It would still kill him.

But as obviously stated by my vote, I still think Kid Flash would win.

Why?

Because Gar talks too much. Gar has a big mouth and has forever set himself as a class-clown. He'd be so busy making up smart-mouth remarks that Bart would be able to take him down. Despite all the experience that Gar Logan has, he would set himself up for defeat.

lol And lets not forget that Bart learned how to lip read and hypnotize people by reading books and we all know how both of those turned out. Heh heh"Scoops the pizza crust..." And I had to think about it awhile too, I'm trying to make the first matchups as close to a good match as I can. I just think that Bart could outmaneuver Beast Boy, he has his phasing ability and he could put up a good distraction with his scouts. Neither of which he's used to my memory in the Titans, but he still has the abilities. And I also agree with the talking too much thing with Gar, though Bart has been kind of long winded lately.

i voted for impulse...what ya both said makes sense and i don't think i could make a better argument...but i think that if gar was to turn into anything like a snake and try a fake out bart would be able to tell the difference because he has so much info in his head nowadays so i don't think a fake out would work much and in order to poision him gar would have to be able to cath bart which is not an easy task....i don't know much about gar to begin with but i think that as of late when i see him in the books or in the cartoons he always turns into some animal that wouldn't really help the situation so i don't know how he would be able to beat bart in any type of match...but that could yust be me :P

Actually Kid Flash (Not impulse. I know, I know. The old name was better...) wouldn't be able to tell the difference, no matter what information he has in his head. Because (A.) the Blue Coral Snake is infact one of the most dangerous snakes in the world. (B.) Bart can't be certain what form Beast Boy was in when he bit him.

Beast Boy COULD have been another snake that looked somewhat like a Blue Coral Snake OR he COULD have really been a blue coral snake. You won't know for certain until you start to feel sick.

Also, Beast Boy could catch up with Kid Flash. One possibility is to switch into a cheetah or ostrege (pardon my spelling) which are two of the fast animals alive. He could catch Bart by suprise like that. Yes, Bart is faster, but if he caught Bart by suprise there we go...

Or he could take to the air and hit Kid Flash from an airial attack as some sort of deadly bird or reptile.

Or Gar could become a insect so tiny that Bart wouldn't even see Gar until it was too late and Gar bit him and he was poisoned from some sort of tropical disease.

Beast Boy could also become a cobra that spits poison. Bart no longer wears a mask that protects his eyes, so if Beast Boy timed it right, he could blind Bart.

There are many different ways the Beast Boy could win. The only reason people look down on him is because he's a clown. If he were more serious he wouldn't be considered such an easy opponent. But if he spends all his time trying to make-fun of his opponent instead of actually defeating him... well that's usually what he does so that's why I didn't vote for him. In 'the Judas Contract' storyline, that's how Deathstroke defeated him. But playing on his ego and his clownish nature.

But again, its really tough. It all depends on what the writer of the story wants. It could honestly go either way.

First off, the first thing that kept running through my mind as I read this poll- the very first time that I saw Impulse- that issue of Zero Hour when he met Superman and Metron, then vibrated through a wall that the T-Rex then proceeded to smash into. BWA-HA-HA-HA!! I can just picture him trying to do that to Gar.

I then picture Gar turning into a rhinocerous and knocking the wall down on top of the speedster.

Like Robin, I had a tough time deciding on this. However, I truely believe that Gar's superior experience and versatility would win him the day. Yes, Robin, he does wisecrack alot, but he's also alot more mature than he used to be. I really think that he wouldn't be so busy thinking up smart-alecy remarks to win; I think he has a whole store of them ready, especially wince Kid Flash is part of the team now.

Besides, all he has to do is turn into a rat, or disease carrying mosquito, or whatever, and Bart would run away, LOL.

Bottom line, Changeling would win after a hard and interesting fight with alot of creative shape changes.

KidFlash would win. Why? Cause I say so! j/k :P

Actualy....KF(ok, Impulse.......Man, I miss his old name...) is also knowns to be a bit of a clown at times. But I still thik he would win in a very VERY close match. If he created scouts of himself or ran so fast that there were multiple images of him, whose to say that Beast Boy would poisen the right Bart? Abd as soob as BB thinks he's got KF(C ) the real one could move in for the attack. I highly doubt that Bart would LET one of his scouts die of poisen though and I haven't read any of the late issues of Impule to know wether or not he would be reluctant or not to use his scouts at all, but its a thought.

I'll I just blinked and missed the fight, but since Gar is lying unconscious on the ground I take he didn't win. Come on guys, this is a no brainer. Before Gar could even think about turning into whatever Bart would have punched him over a thousand times and/or created a tornado around Gar, sucking the air out of his lungs.

Hands down between the power levels are just too absurd. I don't think for a second that Gar is more versatile than Bart. I mean, just take a look of what Bart can do with his superspeed, he can vibrate through stuff, he can blow up stuff (Wally does it all the time), he can control the atmospheric pressure, heck, he can run in the speed of light. No contest here.

Doesn't matter Fab, Beast Boy could still beat Kid Flash. He's more versital, because he's not as limited as Bart. He can take the form of any living creature on earth in the blink of an eye. Bart runs towards Beast Boy and Gar becomes a micro-gnat that Bart can't even see. And while Bart is trying to find Gar, Beast boy flies into Bart's nose and starts doing internal damage to Kid Flash.

Besides, Wally West was far more impressive of an opponent than Bart was, and Gar beat Wally every now and again during training while they were in the Titans together. Not always, but come on... Bart has that little problem of a short-attention span.

Show Bart a shiny object and the game is over. LOL.

Besides, how many times has Bart gotten his butt kicked in the past?

I'm not saying Beast Boy can't loose, but don't think so poorly of someone who has battled against things Kid Flash has never even dreamed of and been the victor.

Impulse can't really blow things up, he'd have to really want to do it. Wally west can because he cannot fully phase through things without blowing them up.

Imp can do something Wally can't. Haha!

Oh, and he never really used his scouts again after the whole going forward in time to save his girlfriend and his mom. He was happy using them, he just hasn't.

Like with the SB/WG poll, this one will stay up another week, though it looks like it'll only be prolonging Beast Boy's suffering at this point lol.

So who's next? Robin versus Starfire? Cyborg versus Raven?

LOL Actually it's the exact opposite matchup. Go fig, I actually planned all the matchups up before I posted the first one so it'd be pretty even.

cool, cool. I just was expecting Robin vs. Starfire since you know, Kory once had a relationship with one of the past Robins.

And it would be interesting to see Nightwing's little bro battle his ex-girlfriend.

True, especially since he seems a little nervous around her at times. Uh huh, and you were trying to tell me he didn't womanize in the slightest. He's just more deceptive about how he makes his glances unlike SB lol, that's the cool thing about the white contacts, can't really tell where he's looking :P. Though they might go against each other in the next part of the tournament.
