Both Harm and Wonder Girl dealt with their break up in different ways. Harm decided that he'd apologize for what happened by playing a song for Cassie to show how he felt. Meanwhile at the Elias School, Cassie was having a hard time keeping her focus. If it wasn't for help by both Cissie and Greta, Cassie would have gotten in a lot of trouble from her lack of paying attention.

After Will finished the song, he decided that he'd take the cowardly way out and shadowport into Cassie's room, put it next to her bed and get out. Though he was suprised to find how easy it had been to get in the room. Cassie had blocked all sources of light to keep Harm's shadowporting ability from working, but since darkness is a shadow, it acheived the opposite effect. But Will was still crushed by the lengths Cassie would go through to keep him out, dropping the tape and shadowporting back to his room.

Cassie, heard the tape drop, and was furious at first that Will had still gotten in her room. She calmed down after listening to the tape and was ready to see him. Will didn't know this, and became more and more frustrated until it finally all came out. In pure fury Will wrecked his room until, he saw the shirt Cassie had given him on their unofficial date. This calmed his rage into sorrow as he collapsed, wishing he could be the kind of guy Cassie wanted him to be. He then remembered a plan he had to get rid of his demonic connections. If it worked right, he'd have no powers anymore, but he wouldn't have the darkness inside of him either.

Will used the power of Noitaerc, the fallen angel, which allows him to alter reality. At first the power overwhelmed him, but he was able to focus and form the conduits to take his power into in the shape of two daggers. Since his power is concentrated in his eyes, that's how he had to take it out. Shoving the daggers into his eyes, Will experienced pain like he'd never felt. Meanwhile, Cassie was coming to see him and walked in on the ritual. But the power created a force field around Will that she couldn't get through no matter how hard she tried. After the power was drawn out, Will was blinded and knocked unconscious, although his eyes were slowly healing with the last of his power. Cassie was finally able to get to him and took him to the hospital.

At the hospital they were able to stabilize Will, but since his eyes were healing on their own, they easily figured out that he was a metahuman and called the police. The nurse allowed Cassie to see him one last time before he was taken away, she took this time to take Will away and flew him to the only place she could think of to go, her home. As she laid Will on the bed she fell asleep as well. Will woke up, his eyes fully healed, thinking he was dreaming, he finally told Cassie he loved her. He had already fallen asleep when she murmured a reply in her sleep that she loved him as well. Then she woke up, cold and got a blanket for them before realizing that there were Superboy posters all over her wall. Wisely realizing that her exboyfriend might not want to see pictures of her other exboyfriend she quickly took them all down before going back to sleep, covering them both with the blanket.

Will woke up, completly refreshed, finally realizing that he wasn't dreaming. Will tried to wake Cassie up to find out what was going on, but nothing he tried worked. The girl was sleeping like a rock, he then decided to go the Sleeping Beauty route and woke up Cassie with a kiss.

When Cassie awoke she stayed close to Will but also kept her distance remembering everything that happened when they broke up. She explained to Will everything that had happened since she found the tape he left, after she finished she asked what the whole deal with the daggers was, but before Will could answer Cassie's mother found them on the bed. And reacting on instinct she kicked Will out of the house and took away Cassie's powers so she couldn't chase after him. Cassie yelled at her mom explaining what really happened and gave her a hug, knowing it was at least good that her mom cared so much. After that was dealt with, Cassie chased down Will, which was relatively easy since he didn't have his powers either. After she caught up with him, Will told her the real reason behind all of his actions, including why he was so frustrated when he pushed her into the wall and explained the ritual that rid him of his demonic connections. And if things weren't bad enough as soon as Will finished his explanation it started pouring down rain.
