Ok, here's the thing....

My dad has decided to finally sort out the computer system.
Its totally messed up, always shutting down and the like.....DAMN YOU SPYWARE!! (Shakes fist)
So till my dad actually does the system...which will take an ice age....and i can get on the net i'll be depending on kye...or till i do the system myself.
<_< Jeeze, life would be so much easier without parentals.

Bummer. Sorry to hear about it lani. My bros computer was having problems with spyware too a couple of months back....Is the spyware the only problem? What about saving important info a hard copy/floppydisk and cleaning out the entire harddrive? It only takes about an hour. Should help.....I think. Least it did when I got viruses awhile back...

You tried Spybot Search and Destroy or Ad-Aware?
They get rid of spyware, done WONDERS for my comp and you can install'em off a CD if you have to burn one. (Like if net doesn't work) AND they're totally free.

And yeah it is a bummer. Good luck.

I tried the free programs, ran it thought the Norton and Microsoft websites.
Nothing! It stuck on like an annoying little spy bug.
The problem is with your kickass idea Rach is that to get all my infomation (4GB, just my file) onto a disk means i first have to format the disks and the nucked up computer won't even register the disk to format it. Don't really want to be all imposing on Kye so i'm getting some preformated disks from a friend of a friend. that fails then imposing i shall be. :lol: :lol:
Cleaning out the hardrive doesn't take all that long, its getting all the programs back on the computer...reinstalling word alone will take a while.
Its not just the spywear, its a lot of things, we just need the whole thing cleaned out and cleaned up.

spywares the one where the freaky pop ad shows up and your cdrom drive or wordpad opens up right? First time I got it I thought my computer needed an exorcist......Mom had a free ticket for a computer check at some comp teck place, guy installed some kind of program, never happened since(Don't ask me what, I have no clue.....We still get viruses, just not spyware) Like I said before, my brother had the same problem, but he fixed it in like thirty minutes.....then again, he's a comp genius and works with the NSA and break the codes on Sin Tizu to give robin short pants and make nightwing look like Elvis. He got all the good genes....maybe I can call him and ask em' how he got rid of it....
