(Ok, basically Teen Lantern's power ring energy got mixed into the Supercycle's Boom Tube, and this is what happened after they came through the Boom Tube)
"Owwwww...my head." Teen lantern said looking around making a pair of banoculers from ring energy.
Shinobi was surveying the area.
"Anyone know where the hell we are?" Mindwarp asked.
Harm gets out of the Supercycle and looks around. "I have no idea."
Robin stood and wipped the dirt from his uniform. The landing had hurt. ALOT. He kneeled down and helped Falcon to her feet. "You okay?"
"Uhm guys...I think I see some people." Lantern said.
Robin reached into his belt and removed his own binoculars. He peered at them for a moment. "Call me crazy, but they don't look like you're usual group of everyday travelers..."
"I agree with ya my feathered freind." Lantern said disipating his bonoculars. "Actually they look like the textbook roman soldiers."
Mindwarp had his eye's closed and opened them. "They are. I just read their minds."
"Anyone know latin?" Shinobi asks.
Harm looks around and realizes what just happened. "Could someone please, please tell me that we're in a Roman fanboy convention or something?"
"A Fanboy convention in the middle of nowhere? Doubtful." Robin said. "Say... has anyone seen Frey?" They all looked around to find the villian no where in sight.
"Oh thats not good. Someone who kows modern technology and how to summon demons in the middle of ancient times..." Shinobi muttered. "And what do we do about the soldeirs?"
Harm glares at TL. "You sent us back in time!"
"OH ITS ALL MY FAULT! WHAT ABOUT THE GUY YOU ALL LET ESCAPE!" He yelled his ring sparking incredibly.
"Knock it off you two." Robin sighed.
"We don't do anything about the soldiers," Robin said. "If we have gone back in time, we don't want to mess with the timeline." He turned to the others. "We need to find him before he screws up our future. Mindwarp, Harm should know a great deal of latin. Download that information into all of our minds."
Harm looks at TL. "No it's not completely your fault, but you have to think before you use your pow-...Oh perfect, me of all people is giving a lecture about superheroing."
"Yeah thanks for telling me the obvious...everyone always tells me I'm too impulsive...at least my civilian form..." T.L said.
Harm then looks at Robin. "It wouldn't kill you to ask my permission first, but go ahead, download away."
Robin grunted an "I appoligize" to Harm. He above anyone else knew about an uneasy feeling towards telepaths. Especially criminal ones.
"Do I look like a computer?" Mindwarp sighed as he concentrated...along with any information of latin that Harm may have had another image came from someone else's mind of falcon I'll let you all decide what its like.
"What happened to the all-powerful Mindwarp?" Superboy scoffed.
"What happened to the straight superboy?? Mindwarp asked.
"Do I need to remind you that you've cause enough probelms. So can we just skip the commentary?" Robin sighed. "Slobo," Robin said turing to their pilot. "Hows the Cycle?"
"Needs time to repair itself..." Slobo said, looking over their ride.
"Wonderful..." Robin sighed. "Suggestions people?"
"How about we go to the Colluseum and kick some butt?" Harm joked.
Kon turned red with fury, but Falcon took his arm and told him to calm down. Robin sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"We need to find Frey and get back to our time people. We need a plan..."
"Well..." Lantern began. "I realize you probably don't want to listen to the member that sent us here but if my ring's energy and Frey?s magic sent us here...well...I assume we would need both elements to get back."
Mindwarp smirked at him. "You really shouldn't take things so personally. After all I rag on people I'm cool with. Something close to freinds."
"The only problem is why would Frey want to use his energy to help us?"
Robin glared at Mindwarp in an "You're kidding right?" sort of way. Falcon sighed. To many male hormones..."All right team," Robin said after a moment. "We're on our own and we don't know exactly when we are. Frey couldn't have gotten far. We'll split up into teams of two and take an area. Superboy and Mindwarp, go north. Harm and Teen Lantern, east. Slobo and Falcon west. Shinobi and I will go south. Go about 1 mile. If you don't find anything turn back and we will meet here. Hopefully the cycle will be fixed by then. And hopefully Frey will come willingly..."
"My name is GREEN LANTERN!" He said.
"Hey I didn't create the image it got there by accident a side effect of mind manipulation." Mindwarp said walking over to Superboy. "Well c'mon buddy. Yeah you dont like me but I'm cool with you. Your pretty entertaining."
Shinobi nodded
"Well, I guess you're with me TEEN Lantern, let's go." Harm says as he starts walking east.
Teen er green lantern grumbles as he follows Harm. "Fine but I'm in charge. After all you need me to get back...I should use that leverage to have you make me a member of this group."
Superboy almost busted a gut laughing at Teen Lantern. "After what you pulled? You'd be lucky to joing the Suicide Squad."
Robin merely rolled his eyes and moved south. "I wonder if we could leave him behind..."
Falcon giggled. "Doubtful... these kind of guys always seem to find a way back..."
"Let's go Shinobi," Robin said turning around and moving in search of Frey. They had a mad man with unlimited power in ancient Rome. "Just another day with the Teen Titans..." Robin murmured.
"Yeap." Shinobi mutters following Robin as Mindwarp levitates by Superboy.
Harm looks at TL and smiles evily. "You're in charge? It was your lapse of judgement that put us here in the first place. If you want to challenge my authority go ahead."
"Sure. I'd love too." Lantern said as his ring lit up. "Besides don't forget you NEED me to return home and I don't know about you but I could get used to living in Ancient Rome."
Harm smiles. "There's always another way." Harm says as he points his sword towards TL.
"Oh wow a sword im so terrified. I'm wearing one of the most powerful weapons in the world on my finger." He says then creates a green energy cage around Harm. "See?"
"Hey Rob. I know this is a longshot idea and all but it might work. If we came here through a rip in time-space fabric or whatever then its possible the rip will still be there now...maybe strong enough for radio waves to pass through...so what if you try to contact that Oracle person? Or do you think I just watch one to many sci-fi movies?"
Harms disappears into the shadow of the cage and appears behind TL using his shadow. Harm then puts the blade of his sword to TL's neck. "This is a demonic sword, if I wanted to kill you, you'd be dead. " Harm turns his back on TL and keeps walking east. "And do try not to use your powers we stand out enough as it is."
'Ohhh. Yeah. We stick out BIG time. We probably should find some disguises and try to blendin...'Falcon gave Robin a peck on the cheek. "Be careful." She said before turnng West and heading on out to see what she and Slobo could find.
Harm starts chanting and is surrounded by a dark energy cloud and as the cloud dissipates Harm is wearing Roman armor with no face paint. Harm then looks at TL. "Or should I say that you stand out."
"Oh please." Tl said focusing his ring again this time the green glow altered his 'costume' into similar but green Roman armour as well.
Robin turned to the others and growled loudly, almost animal-like. They hadn't even left 4 feet from the Super-Cycle and everyone was fighting.
"Harm! Lantern! In case you haven't noticed we are in deep sh*t here!" Robin growled, stepping inbetween the two of them and shoving them aside. "If you've got a problem with each other, get over it!"
He stormed off and next to Shinobi. "I don't believe that we could get in contact with Oracle, considering where and when we are. We'd need a fequency so powerful..." Robin's voice trailed as he looked over at the Super-Cycle that was repairing itself. "But then again..."
Harm smirks and looks back at Robin. "Sorry, but you know what they say, when in Rome..."
Robin looked over at Harm. "Just go out and try to find Frey," he grunted.
As they moved out Shinobi and Robin noticed another group of Roman soldiers moving around. "I wish I knew exactly when and when we are..." Robin sighed. "It looks to me like something big is going down."
A soldier comes to Harm and TL. "What are you doing here? You should be in training." Ordered the soldier.
Harm looked surprised. "Um we're not in training because...um..." Harm glances at TL.
"We're on our way now." Harm was thinking that maybe they might have taken Frey.
Falcon and Slobo started off in the direction that Robin had sent them when a Roman Soldier comes up. "Princess. We've been looking for you all day! Where have you been and why are you dressed in such clothes." Another comes up to Slobo and gives him a slight poke with his spear. "You there! Who are you!"
The slodier never stood a chance as his arm was broken by slobo in one swift movement. As the solder crying on the floor holding his arm, Slobo dusted his hands. "Thats who i am..." Slobo smiled.
Robin and Shinobi stood from a hill top and watched as several squads of soliders were setting up camp. "Call me crazy, but it looks to me like they're preparing for a battle..."
Shinobi nodded. "Do you think Frey could be down there?"
"Dunno..." Replied Robin. "We don't even know the extent of his power. He could be back in the 21 century for all we know..."
Harm follows the direction where most of the other soldiers were going.
The other soldier stood in-between Falcon and Slobo holding his spear to protect her. "Worry no princess! This brute shall not harm you!" Slobo looked at him amused and then at Falcon.
"He's kidding... right?"
Robin and Shinobi watched as another small group of soldiers drew closer to the camp. Shinobi tugged at Robin's sleeve.
"Whats up?" Robin asked.
"Look down there. Tell me those two don't look familar..." Robin turned his binoculars to where Shinobi pointed.
"Oh brother... Harm and Lantern..." Robin pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "I should have seen this coming..."
Falcon shrugged and was about to say something when The other soldier grabbed Rachael and pushed her behind him. "Hey!" Rachael let out as he did so.
As Harm and TL go with the soldiers they see a bunch of them sparring with each other. "I wonder what they're all training for. I might as well have fun while we're looking." Harm says as he smiles.
"Princess?" Slobo laughed. "That's a fraggin riot!" The soldier pointed the spear at Slobo again. "You really wanna be eating that thing huh?" Slobo smiled, sinisterly.
Robin tried to turn on his com-link to raise Harm and Lantern. There was a great deal of static on the line, most likely disturbed by the jump through time. "Robin to Harm. What are you two doing...?"
Harm discretely answers the com/link. "They thought we were soldiers, so they might have thought the same thing about Frey, we're gonna check out-" "Hey you! What are you doing? You should be training, I'll fight you personally!" Shouted the commanding officer. Harm smiled as he looked at the officer. "Bring it!"
"Good idea," Robin nodded. "But stay low profile. Don't do anything concipuious." Robin then heard the shout from the Roman commander. "Okay... So much for that idea..." he sighed.
""Um...h-he's a friend of mine." Falcon told the soldier, last thing she wanted, was for Slobo to hurt another and get some other soldiers that were sure to notice involved. It could greatly mess up the time stream.
A young girl in a white, flowiing tunic with golden jewelry watched the strange newcomers from a nearby bush. They sure were an odd looking bunch...she had been able to sneak away from her father enough to see some action and watch as the soldiers trained when she stumbled upon this bunch that couldn't be much older in her. She sneezed. Oh no. She hoped they hadn't heard.
"But Princess Serina, What kind of friend dresses in such a manner and has white skin?" The soldier demanded more to Slobo than Falcon.
"Why I outta..." slobo began.
The commander swings his sword as Harm and is blocked by Harm's sword. "Very impressive sword, but it won't help you." Harm then kicks the commander, which makes him go flying across the training arena. Harm cringes. "OO that's gonna leave a mark." Harm said smirking.
All the soldiers stopped and stared at Harm and TL. Harm looks at TL. "Maybe that wasn't such a good idea."
Robin and Shinobi winced in unision as they watched Harm take out the Commander. "Ouch..." Shinobi said.
"What part of "low profile" doesn't make sense to this team?" moaned Robin. "Get ready. If this goes south, we're going to need to get down there to help get them out."
Shinobi nodded slightly.
Falcon shot a glare at Slobo and then turned to the soldier. "Ummm. He's a traveler from a far away land." Why hadn't ancient history ever been one of her best subjects? Who in the world was princess Serina? An Ancester? "He's come to help in the oncoming war..."
The soldier all start clapping. One of them steps up to Harm. "That was amazing soldier! No one's ever defeated him before! What's your name?"
"Ha- William"
"Well, congragulations, you're the new commander!"
Princess Serina watched the new comers even more intently and then a long blade of grass tickled her under the nose and, this time, she sneezed loudly. No doubt that they had heard that. She sat froozen like a scared rabbit.
Both Robin and Shinobi heard the sneeze from behind. Silently Robin siginaled something with his hands. Shinobi nodded.
Robin moved to out of sight from the girl, while Shinobi stood up and moved towards her. As the girl stepped back from Shinobi, she bumped into something behind her, and turned to face Robin, his green mask in a scowl and then into a look of shock. "Falcon what are you doing here? Where is Slobo?"
"Does your father know of this your highness?" the soldier asked, his spear still on Slobo. How merely leaned back and chuckled to himself.
"Nu u--I mean. Uhhh. Nay, he does not. It is a...suprise." Falcon bit her lower lip. 'Please let him belive it. Please let him believe it. For his own sake.'
Harm's eyes open wide with surprise, he then remembers that Robin said not to alter history. "Robin's gonna try to kill me" The soldier looks weirdly at Harm. "What was that?" Harm realizes that he was talking outloud. "Oh nothing, I'm honored."
Serina gave a slight gasp and stepped back slightly in surprise. She gathered her courage, not by any means a fraidy-cat like the other girls here and spoke up. "Slo....bo?" She asked with a puzzeled look.
Studying her face and meeting the young girl's eyes Robin's face turned into a glare again, fightening the princess slightly. Falcon always had a more mature, older look in the eyes. This girl had a naive and innocent look to her. "You're not Falcon."
Shinobi looked her over. "Are you sure Rob? She looks like her." He paused slighly as he stared at her clevage. "She really looks like her."
Robin shot a glare at Shinobi. "Trust me. It isn't her."
"Very well your highness," the soldier said. He looked over Rachel's Falcon uniform. "Such odd garments..." he said off handedly.
"Come, we must return to camp. You father fears for your safety." he leaned down to help his fellow soldier to his feet.
The soldiers start to carry the former commander out of the arena. The soldier then turns to Harm "William, my name's Plenticus, you must meet with the emperor, to confirm your promotion." Harm thinks that maybe this position will help him find Frey even faster. "Ok, soldiers resume your training" Harm then looks at TL and says very lowly "And try not to make the same mistake I did."
"I'll um...change into my usual garments when we get back to camp." She said witha sigh. Crisis averted for the moment.
Serina let out a small whimper and stepped back from the two men even more. "Listen here. I am Princess Serina. Do anything to me, and my father will have his men seek my revenge." She said, quite scared now that the handsom, but obviuosly peturbed, young mand in the Black cloak and green and red costume had sent her a threatening look.
Shinobi stepped forward, keeping Robin from pulling the "big bad" act. "Forgive my friend, Robin doesn't trust anyone." Robin said nothing, but continued his glare. If this wasn't Falcon, then where was she? Was she okay?
"I'm Shinobi," he said taking her hand and lifting his mask enough so he could kiss her hand. "So you're a princess huh?"
"Why were you spying on us?" Robin demanded.
Soon they were returning to the camp.
"You father will wish to see you, Princess." the soldier said. "You may change into a finer garment first. You... friend may wait here."
As Harm stands before the emperor, he bows. Plenticus then addresses the emperor. "This soldier, William is a great warrior, he downed out commander in one blow, he's still unconscious. We've made him the new commander" The emperor looks at Harm. "We will need a great warrior leading our troops against the Greeks, you may go Plenticus, I must discuss out strategy with the new commander."
"I...I wasn't spying. I ran away from my fathers camp to watch the soldiers train and stumbled across you two." She blushed slightly as Shinobi kissed her hand. She had her of such traditions in the north.
"Um...right." Falcon replied in a very unroman manner.
A maid lead her to her tent and she quickly was dressed in a white drapping, tunic that dragged slightly on the floor and fine golden jewelry. She was scorned for having taken down her hair for the fifth time that day(or so she had been told that it was the fifth time that day.) and it was quickly put up with a few curly tendrels falling around her face.
She was then led to where Slobo was arguing with, what she guessed, was the emporer, her faux father.
Robin turned his back to watch for Harm and Lantern. They were both gone from sight and he couldn't reach them on com. He tried to reach Falcon and Slobo with the same results.
Shinobi smiled at Serina. "Don't worry about him. So... where's you kingdom?" he asked in a flirting tone.
"-I'll show you, yer fraggin gods you overstuffed bastich!" Slobo swore loudly to the Emperor's face.
The Roman emperor leads Harm into the war room. "Now how do you suggest we attack?" Harm looks at the map. "We have a bigger army, we'll just go in there from the lower left and kick they're butts." The emperor smiles and pats Harm on the back. "I like the way you think, get equipped with your troops, we'll invade in an hour." Harm goes to the door and double takes. "One hour!?" "Yes, from your logic, the sooner we attack the better, now get ready." Harm bows. "Y-yes sir"
"Ummm." The young princess withdrew her hand slightly in modesty.
"SLOBO!!!" Rachael said angrily as she stormed forward. The king looked slightly alarmed at his daughters gusto. "Geeze. Can't leave you alone for ONE MINUTE without you starting a fight."
Robin growled to Shinobi, who was still attempting to flirt with the Princess. "I don't know, they disappeared when the "Princess" showed up. But it seems calm down there, so that means that they haven't started a battle. But we're going to need to go down there if they don't report in soon..."
Slobo growled and stepped away from the Emperor. "Whatever..." he growled.
"Daughter!" the emperor shouted embracing Falcon. "Explain to me why you left in such a manner, and who is this... creature..." he said pointing to Slobo
"I tolda not to call me..." Slobo growled, pushing up sleeves that didn't exist
Serina stepped forward and let out a slight gasp. "Thats the men that are after my fathers kingdom!"
"Um...I was just out for a walk...when I came upon him. He's from a far away land called czarnia." She came up with an ecuse as she took her seat at a throne near her 'Fathers'
Robin turned to the princess. Perhapes they had kidnapped Rachel thinking she was the Princess. "Where is your camp?"
The princess gulped a breath of air and turned towward the north, starting to walk. "Follow me. It's just a small ways from here."
Harm turns to TL as they go back to the arena. "Since the Romans do defeat the Greeks I guess we help until we find the others and Frey."
Robin turned to Shinobi. "What do you think? Do we follow her, or do we go after Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dummer down there...."
"Works for me." He says as his ring begins to flicker. "Uh oh."
Harm looks at TL. "What's wrong?"
"Dividing ourselves isn't advisable but would help us find Frey." Shinobi intoned. Then said in english "Plus the princess is hot."
"My ring's running outta juice...creating the armour outta ring energy...shoulda remembered it was low on juice." he said just as his ring died and he was wearing his 'custume' again.
"Thanks, that helped alot..." Robin sighed. His head was still throbbing from the fall he took on their arival here. He didn't doubt he might have a minor concussion. "You go with the Princess. Find out what you can. I'll go down and ivestigate the situation with Harm and Lantern." He cast a look at Serina, wishing he was with Rachel right now.
"Keep an eye on her."
"Oh perfect!" Harm chants a spell as a dark cloud surrounds TL and his clothes change to the same armor he had with the ring. As they both get to the arena, Harm throws TL a sword. "Hope you can fight without your ring."
"Dont you trust me? Look if it'll make ya feel better i'll go to 'serious mode'."
"I can box and I can wrestle that's what Rome was famous for like Greece."
"Well. Come" The Greek Beauty told the ninja gently as she made her way through the tall grass in which she had come.
"Good." Harm then turns to the rest of the soldiers. "ARE YOU READY TO FIGHT!" "YEAH!!" The soldiers said in unison. Harm continued to motivate the troops. "REMEMBER GREEK'S FATE WAS ALREADY DECIDED WHEN THEY DIDN'T SURRENDER! REMEMBER WE ARE THE ROMAN EMPIRE! THE STRONGEST EMPIRE THERE EVER WAS OR EVER WILL BE!" The soldiers, totally hyped up now, charged outside of Rome's gates toward Greece.
"I'm coming your highness." Shinobi said following her
Robin watched as the two left, thankful that he place a tracing devise on the princess' clothing and had one implanted on all of the other Titan's uniforms. Unfortunatly, most of his electronics were messed up by the time-portal.
He moved down the hill un-noticed and moved around the tents searching for Harm and Lantern. He was quite annoyed at the fact that nothing seemed to work out easily. Probably the reason Batman perfered to work alone.
Soon he found the two dressed in Roman armor and Harm had just made a speech getting all the soldiers excited. Staying hidden in the shadows he moved close enough to Harm to be heard.
"What do you think your're doing," he growled.
Harm notices Robin and sneaks to him. "We're invading Greece, I think that's where Frey is, the emperor would have mentioned something if he was here."
"And why are YOU giving the plan of attack?" Robin sighed.
TL sighed and followed Harm. He looks around and whispers into his ring. 'In brightest day in blackest night no evil shall escape my sight those who worship evil's might beware my power Green Lantern's light." (he tried to make a voice recognition code for the rings recharge and somehow came up with that)it begins to glow slightly absorbing light nearby to recharge itself
Soon, they arrived at the camp, recieving many weird glances from her people and she made her way to the make-shift throne room. And saw another girl sitting in her seat.
Both Rachael's and Serena's eyes widened. The king looked between his two daughters in astonishment.
"Oh, well I kinda...knocked out they're commander, making me the best warrior, and therefore the commander. There's nothing to worry about, no one remember's the commander of Rome's army and Rome beats Greece."
"This ain't good." Shinobi muttered putting his hand behind his back ready to grab the kodachi
The Emporer was about to say something when Roman soldiers were heard charging their way into the camp.
Rachael stood up from her seat and headed to where Slobo, Shinobi, and the Young Princess were. "Um, guys? PLEASE don't tell me we came here in the middle of a major war." Rachael held up the sides of her tunic slightly so as not to trip on them. This one the one reason she hated dresses, not to mention this one was...um...sorta revealing...
"Uhm...looks that way Falcon..." SHinobi said staring at her.
One of the soldiers turns to Harm. "The Princess is said to be in the camp, if we take her, the Greeks might surrender faster." Harm looks at the soldier. "Good idea, CHARGE!" The Roman troops start attacking the Greeks.
Rachael gave Shinobi a good slap across the face. "Keep your head in the game. We've got more important things to worry about."
"Hope you've been in a huge fight before TL, I'm going after the princess, the faster we get her, the less people we have to take out." Harm starts knocking out the Greeks, but doesn't kill them, trying to find the princess.
"Hey I'm a guy Falcon its just my way." Shinobi says.
"Do you see Edge city on the news for violent crimes?" Tl mutters.
Robin followed the Romans, wishing he had a history book. They had no idea what they were doing to the time-line. For all they knew interfering with this battle could lead to the complete destruction of the future.
Knocking out a Roman soldier, Robin dressed in his uniform and attempted to search for the others. Harm and Lantern were seperated from him early in the fight.
He raced into one tent and found the two Rachels, Shinobi, Slobo the Greek king and a handful of Roman Soldiers.
"Oh come on...." Robin sighed.
Harm finally gets to the princess and Falcon. "Falcon!?" Harm has a hard time not laughing at the irony that he was sent to kidnap Falcon once again.
"Hey robin." Shinobi muttered with his hand over his cheek.
"Geez...wonder how...much of a...charge..the ring got back..." TL says managing to knock out the soldier he'd been fighting.
"Have any of you seen Frey yet?"
"Nope. All I found was the hottie." Shinobi says. "Err I mean. No." He says trying to go back to cold and serious but when you haven't had a girlfreind in your life because of all the training he went through its hard to ignore an attractive single girl.
At that moment they all heard the screams of "Demon!" and raced out to see the problem. Robin saw the Super-Cycle circling over in search of them. All the Roman and Greek soliders thought it was a demon.
"I asked for low profile..." Robin said slapping a hand to his forehead. "I told everyone... stay inconspicious. Don't attracted attention..." A solder came at him with a sword and Robin took him out still mumbling things under his breath.
Rachael sighed and crossed her arms. "Oh hardy har har you guys. I say we get out of here before we mess up the time line even further." She riped the lower part of her tunic into a skirt that was a little above the knee. with a batarang that she had kept near her side. Her costume was in another, near by tent. But she had a feeling they were going to have to fight their way out of here.
Serina just stood by, confused and quite scared
"Whaddaya you think lugnuts." TL said following harm inside. "Wow doublemint twins."
"All right people!" Robin shouted. "We are out of here! This isn't our fight!" He then whistled loudly and the Cycle landed in front of them. "Let's get out of here!" Slobo leaped into the driver's seat as Robin got in the back-seat.
"Your highness I think it would be for the best if you stay here." Shinobi said respecfully as he followed Falcon's example drawing his kodachi.
"Will someone PLEASE tell me what is going on!" TL yelled.
"Fine by me" Harm looks at Perificus. "Good luck." Harm changes his outfit back into his costume and jumps in the Supercycle.
"Numb-nut here decided to play general, and Bird-girl's apparently a princess!" Slobo shouted pointing to Harm and then Falcon.
"Now people!" Robin growled. Where was frey? Robin searched for the villian amongst the fighters, but saw no sign of him.
Harm glares at Slobo after the "numb-nut" crack. "This from you, I'm pretty sure you would have done a lot worst in the same situation."
Shinobi was interecepting people attacking him and dodging attacks as he went to the cycle.
"Hope history'll be kind to us." Tl muttered activating what was regenerated of his ring to levitate above tha battle and land with the cycle.
"Naw... I'd have just beat the frag outta the bastiaches and then left. I don't do the general bit. I don't give orders. I disobey them." Slobo gave a smile.
Robin looked to Falcon and then Princess Serina. "Falcon, we need to go..."
"He's got a point Slo-bo." Rachael hopped into the super-cycle. She turned and looked at Serina. "Uh. You might want to runoff now." The young princess did as told and ran.
Rachael turned to Robin. "Hey Rob' you wouldn't happen to have a spare costume in here, would you. I don't very much like the idea of perading around in this." She indicated the ripped tunic.
"It doesn't bother me." Harm said with a smirk.
Robin smiled. "You are so lucky that I found this in one of the tents..." Robin held up Falcon's uniform. "If Batman found out you were leaving this lying around..." Robin said, helping her into the cycle.
"Well see ya in the textbooks princess." Shinobi said as he took out of his gi two smoke bombs he kept for escapes and a large flash powder grenade. "aww but it looks good on ya." SHinobi said along with Tl
"Is everyone here now?" Harm said looking around.
"Slobo, get us outta here!" Robin ordered to the Czainarian. Slobo reved the cycle up and they lifted off the ground. There were dozens of soldiers stopping to look up at the cycle and pointed in fear.
"If we screwed up the time-line... Well at least that mid-term wouldn't be a problem anymore..." Robin sighed.
"Did anyone find Frey?" Robin asked.
"Where are dunce mindwarp and cm3?" SHinobi asked looking around
"Nope, I didn't see him, maybe he was gone before we even got to Rome."
"Good question..." Robin nodded. "Slobo, see if the cycle can pick up their signals." Slobo nodded.
"S-B and the lighting kid are 5 miles west from here. They're in Athens."
"Wonderful. Let's go pick them up..."
"Great in this time they'd be considered gods...not to mention Mindwarp probably taking full advantage of the situation.
Falcon rolled her eyes at the two boys. "I'll be right back guys." She took the Falcon garb from Robin and jumped out of the super-cycle and ran into one of the tents, kicking a few Roman soldiers out of it and soon emergin in her costume. She climbed back into the super-cycle as she shook her hair free of the golden clasp that had held it up so promenently and let them fall along her back. "So what do we do now?"
"I guess we try to get out of this time without Frey."
"Slobo, does the Cycle's scanner's pick up Frey anywhere near by?" Slobo shook his head.
"No way Bird-boy. In fact they cycle says he wasn't even with us when we landed."
"Damn." Robin turned to the others. "So what happened to him?"
"Best guess..." Slobo shrugged. "He fell out during our trip through the Time-stream.
"We've got no choice." Robin said running a hand through his hair. "We pick up Superboy and CM3 and get the hell out of here."
"Works for me, let's go."
"Glad you approve..." Robin said rather sarcastically. He leaned back in his seat as Slobo drove the Cycle across Greece. He absent-mindedly placed his hand on Falcon's while running the other hand through his hair
As they flew over a small area, Slobo shouted "Found 'em!" They cycle moved to land and found a large group of women! They appeared to be doing battle with Superboy and CM3 and Mindwarp who was unconcious.
"What now?" Robin groaned.
"Halt!" one of the women called at them, and suddenly a dozen bows and arrows were pointed at them. She had long Black hair and piercing blue eyes. Many of the Titans recognized her as a much younger Queen Hippolyta. Wonder Woman's deceased mother.
"No one move..." Robin said. "These are Amazons, and they have no problem killing men. We need to play this without causing more problems."
"They don't look so tough, I doubt they could kill me."
"Hippolyta took on Hercules on her own and won," Robin explained. "And if you've ever seen a true Amazon fight, you wouldn't say that."
Harm smiles. "You're making me wanna go over there."
Robin shook his head and gave a half-smile. He was really tempted to watch Harm get his ass handed to him by one of the Amazons, but they really didn't need to alter the time-line anymore than they all ready did.
"Then challenge Wonder Woman to a sparring match when we get back," he told Harm.
Shinobi looked at the Amozan's "Your warriors i can tell and great ones to boot. I've heard many stories of your prowess. Perhaps it would be best not to fight no matter who wins someone is always injurred. And reguardless of the enemy at least one on each side will be defeated." He said trying to be diplomatic. It was a good thing part of ninjitsu training was thinking on yoru feet being able to make up something at any given moment.
Mindwarp stirred and seemed to regain concessness. "Whas happinin?"
SHinobi continued. "We mean you no harm so why should you try to harm us? because of gender? if so i gotta tell ya thats not much of a reason starting a fight with men because they are men...how does that make you better then they are?"
"Yeah what ninja-boy said." Teen Lantern agreed his ring still emitting a dull glow as it charged taking in the light like a solar battery.
"Yeah. Well. Last I checked, I was still a women, so they shouldn't have any problem with me. Maybe there something I could do. " She looked at the fierce amazonian warriors and then at her other two team mates that they had been fighting.
Shinobi was keeping his eyes locked with Hippolyta almost like this little staring contest would effect the decision she made.
Hippolyta rolled her eyes at Shinobi as if to say how obnixious she found him. "You are no warriors you are children. We fought against these two..." she said pointing to Superboy and CM3 and Mindwarp. "Because of their disrespectful tone of voice and speech."
Robin sighed. "They called you sexy mommas didn't they..."
Hippolyta nodded. "No man, even if only a child speaks to the Amazons in such a manner."
"Still a wise...person...once said that the greatest victory is in the battle not fought and I'll thank you NOT to undermine my training." Shinobi said then realized he was mouthing off to one of the strongest fighters in the anceint world.
"They still don't scare me" Harm said with a smirk.
"Then you are not only children, but you are fools as well," Hippolyta snapped a deep fire buring within her steely blue eyes.
"These two are not worth our time," Hippolyta said pointing to Superboy and CM3 how looked a tad winded. She turned to Falcon. "You would do well to not assocate with such pompus people such as these, little sister."
She turned her focus to all the Titans. "Go and should we meet again, remember to hold you tongues. I do not tolerate such language towards my fellow Amazon, nor myself." With that said, the Amazons turned a moved away. Little did the Titans know that they were headed towards their new homeland, Themiscara.
"You just had to tick them off didn't you Kon?" Robin growled laying back in his seat as the three young men joined them in the cycle.
Shinobi was still standing there and unfortunatly he also doesn't take well to insults "They say the big mouth means the weak fighter!"
Just as Shinobi had finished his insult, a shield was thrown at him frisbe-like, striking him off the cycle with a slight gash in the forehead.
Robin just placed his head in his hands and sighed. "The kid had it coming..."
"I said hold your tongue, boy!" Hippolyta said. "Speak in such a manner to me again and I shall have your head on a silver platter." Superboy flew down and caught Shinobi before he struck the ground. When they turned their attention back to Hippolyta, both she and the rest of the Amazons were gone.
"When I say, don't tick off the Amazon..." Robin growled. "I mean... "
"Dont.
Tick.
Off.
The.
Amazon."
Harm smiles. "Oh I can't wait to get my hands on one of them." Harm then looks at TL, Shinobi, SB, and CM3. "And I do mean that in a violent way."
Falcon merely rolled her eyes at the hormonal males trying to hold back a laugh that the boys got their butts handed to them.
While Falcon applied a bandage to Shinobi's forehead, Robin thought over the situation.
"All right, let's review. We are in Acient Greece, our enemy: Maxamillion Frey is lost in the Time Stream, and without him we have no way back home." He was absent-mindely with a Batarang.
"Suggestions folks?"
"Well, we could try to combine TL's ring power with the Supercycle's boom tube, but it still doesn't look like his ring's powered up yet."
Robin placed his batarang in his belt again and crossed his arm deep in thought. There was no evidence proving that would work, but so far Harm's theory was the best they had.
"Best thing we could try," he nodded to Harm. The guy could be a jerk, but when he put his mind to it, he could be a usesful ally.
"Slobo, can we do that?" he asked their pilot. Slobo shrugged.
"Hell if I know. But I'll try anything once. Even twice, if I've been drinkin'," Slobo smiled.
"Shinobi," Robin said, looking at their resident ninja. "You okay?"
"Yeah she perpousfully missed a killing shot. see?" He asked pointing to the tear in his mask. "Just short of the temple. "Geez. Note toe self: Spar with wonder woman until I can hold my own."
"Well...the ring may have gained a little more power but it usually takes about an hour for a full recharge"
