Either this idea will be wholeheartly accepcted or get me banned for life on this board. I know alot of people have strong emotions when it comes to the joint effort between Marvel and DC. My Idea is that everyone uses a canon cahracter and you pick and charater form Marvel and amalgam them. You could use some one fromt he orginal Amalgam universe or make one of your own. It while begin with Access realzing a dark influence more powerful than either of the universes is again attempting to merge the Marvel and DC. Access must find certain key characters to help stop this dark influence, (these characters will not be affected by the merging of the universes) about five to eight for a strike force would do.

Canon characters could be used but it woudl be diffcult to Amagamlize a character that was created.

So what does everyone think. Should it be tried or should I be tied to a rotating wheel and have tomatoes thrown ate me like Quizimoto.

Nah, I don't think you'll be attacked...well...more than you usually would anyway. B) Actually we had a storyline kinda like that awhile back only instead of DC and Marvel it was all comic book companies, but since a plot wasn't really planned beforehand it kinda sunk in the water. But since this one actually has a plot for it I'd see no problem with giving it another go.

I don't think that it is a bad idea, at all. I would be willing to try it.

First off, I definetly don't think we should be doing another Marvel related storyline so soon to the X-Men storyline that we have planned. Its FAR FAR too soon.

As we said over in the Teen Titans vs. X-Men thread we want this site to remain DCU RPG site. But if we keep having one Marvel related crossover after another people are going to start constantly requesting to do these storys and ask to play Marvel characters as their primary characters.

This IS a DCU site afterall. It should probably be a good idea not to keep doing Marvel crossovers one after the other.

And as Marx stated, we tried this one before and it really went down hill fast. It wasn't only because the story lacked in direction, but also because the Amalgam was just far too complicated for everyone. We had dozens of different characters merge together and no one had any idea who was who or what was going on.

So, I'm sorry, but afraid I'm really against doing the story idea. We really shouldn't do another Marvel crossover so soon to our X-Men story, and I'm just not sure this kind of story will keep anyone's interest for long.

As a I said it is only an idea. Not something that had to be done immediately or ever, I was just wanting a response, thanks for the input so far.
