Return of the Warlogog
The Warlogog, or the Philosopher's Stone, as it is called on Earth, is a blueprint of the timeline created by the Gods. It was hidden on Earth for millions of years until it was dug up by people working for Lex Luthor. Luthor discovered that the Stone could do almost anything the bearer could think of. So, of course, Luthor wanted another one, just in case Superman should tamper with the original.
Now, the original Stone is kept safe on New Genesis. The copy was kept in the safe of Dr. Connors, who kept it for Luthor.
The copy has been stolen.
In the JLA Watchtower, The Spectre and the Martian Manhunter have been contacted by Metron, one of the New Gods. They, along with the rest of the JLA have been tasked with finding the new stone and stopping the thieves from using it.
Meanwhile, Dark Wolf finds out that there is a disturbence on the moon, but he dismisses it wondering why the Justice League would ever need him or his skills.
Stepi01 - July 29, 2004 02:50 AM (GMT)
The League has decided to accept their mission and find the Warlogog and stop whoever has taken it.
Superman and Martian Manhunter head to Metropolis to investigate the scene, but first, the Man of Steel leaves to rescue a falling airplane, and J'onn contacts Oracle for information.
The Flash goes to New York in order to pick up Green Lantern, who seems more than willing to get some stuff off his mind.
The Spectre leaves for New Haven City in search of The Dark Wolf, whom the Oracle says may be able to help them.
Meanwhile, the Mirror Master hands the Philosopher's Stone over to the man giving him his assignments.
Stepi01 - August 6, 2004 01:08 AM (GMT)
It seems that everyone is arriving safely in Metropolis.
Martian Manhunter tries to get cooperation from the LexCorps employees, but they seem less than cooperative.
Spectre, who was able to recruit Dark Wolf, has decided to back J'onn up, despite Dark Wolf calling him 'Casper.
Dark Wolf, meanwhile, has taken a perch on the roof of the lab.
Green Lantern and Flash were on their way to Metropolis when Flash spotted another ally who jumped at the chance to help out, Blue Beetle.
Meanwhile, the Mirror Master and Dr. Light are learning that their current boss is a very creepy and scary guy.
Stepi01 - August 11, 2004 03:56 PM (GMT)
After finally arriving in true Roman fashion to Metropolis, Green Lantern recruits Booster Gold into the JLA current crisis, not knowing that the Flash has gotten Blue Beetle.
Meanwhile, The Hooded Baddie, who turns out to be Desaad has started a major earthquake in Metropolis, and sent his four hired mercenaries to start more havoc on the poor city.
Stepi01 - August 17, 2004 03:20 PM (GMT)
Chaos seems to be taking over in Metropolis as an Earthquake rips through the city.
Spectre and Martian Manhunter, having evacuated the LexCorp lab building where they were, now have to worry about Deathstroke.
Mirror Master has claimed Flash for battle. Dr Light, who wants to keep the size of the JLA as small as possible has decided to keep Booster Gold away from the group. Metallo has gone off to fight Superman, who has recently been joined by Mary Marvel.
Meanwhile, Green Lantern battles to save the people of the city from collapsing buildings.

It has been over a week since anyone posted in the story.
Is anyone out there? +_+
Stepi01 - September 9, 2004 12:35 PM (GMT)
The last post was a week ago, people. Is anyone still here? I am really getting worried here.
If the silence lasts too much longer, I'm going to have to declare the story dead and move on.
Stepi01 - September 15, 2004 01:50 PM (GMT)
Well, thankfully, we have activity and so the story shall live for a bit longer.
In Metropolis, the JLA continues it fight to save lives. The Flash found the Mirror Master in a jewel shop, and now has to deal with six hypnotised patrons as well as the thief. Green Lantern, having saved several building and lives, has caught up with Black Canery, who has decided to lend her aid to the situation. Spectre, finally fed up with Deathstroke punted the mercenary into a building.
Meanwhile, Darkseid bides his time to invasion.
