Superman has a lot of friends and allies. From Batman and Wonder Woman in the JLA, to Superboy and Robin in the Teen Titans. But what about those in the non-super-hero community? Over the years Clark has assembled a great deal of close friends and family.

And yes, I know Superboy, Supergirl and Krpto are missing, but again, this is for the normal human friends.

No contest for me, I had to vote Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen.

OK, I admit it. They handed out Pre-Crisis honorary memberships like shrinks hand out Ritalin. Jimmy Olsen is still my favorite, though.

I'm a Lois fan. She smart, funny, a wise-ass, strong willed, and the only reason she ends up in trouble is because she's the only person willing to put herself in danger to find out the truth about things. ::supes::

I voted Lana and Pete because when you're growing up, it always helps to be around friends. When you're down and all, they can help you back up, right? I mean, that is what friends are for.

Unless you live in the TV world of 'SMALLVILLE' I swear Lana, Clark, Chloe and Pete all need to get swift kicks in the butts followed with major morphine. All they do is complain about how screwed up their love lifes are and never do anything to change them.

'Oh Lana finally loves me, but I can't love her.'

'Oh I love Clark, but I can't be with him because he's so secretive'

'Oh I love Clark, but I'm a reporter and that means I've gotta destroy his trust in me every other week.'
